It is funny to me that reading over these comments, the place was a dump and then some new owners bought it. For like a year there was good comments, staff was great, and the manager knew what he was doing. The skate people did too. Then all of a sudden, it changed back? I can guess the manager who knew what was what left?

I’m trying to figure out if skating 2night costs more than usual? Because people are saying it’s gunna cost more because it’s open till 2 A.M.?

Bad shot! Bad lanes! Was recently told that I could not buy a game but had to buy a full hour!?! The GM didn’t know how to answer a question about manual scoring – how’d he get his job!?! The deskperson didn’t know what deadwood was! This place has gone to hell! Was much better last few years, bowl at Robin Hood or Majestic!

The owners wanted to demolish. The GM doesn’t even like bowling. They serve underage kids who trash the place. Employees don’t know the sport. What the hell is going on??

This place has a dumba** of a Manager now that does not know anything about bowling!! After so many problems with their machines they should at least hire someone that cares about bowling!! BOO!!

That is the new owners intent, BUT do to that citys zoning laws it wont happen (the condos).

Comment Date: 8/28/2007 Name: Anonymous
I understand that the recently sold center was bought by a developer and what you now bowl on will be Condo’s
Thanks for taking my center that I grew up in … 🙁

What a difference. If you haven’t been in recently, I would recommend going. The place looks great. The shot is so much cleaner, and I hear that things are really picking up. The employee’s seem to know what there doing now.

Place has gone downhill since the start of the season. Shot was way inconsistant. We thought it was getting better thru the midseason then went back to the extremes. Employees dont know jack about bowling, machines run like crap. I know they are longtime losing leagues because of the faults listed above.

Way over priced! You would think they may discount prices late a night when there were only a couple lanes in use! Used to bowl at Sunset and this place cannot hold a candle to it. Questionable patrons and people hanging around. Must be Lynnhood.

Roger went on to by his own center in the midwest and is no longer at Lynnwood..
Update: Lane conditions are much better since Kegal came in and fixed lane machine. Owners and employees would have saved themselves some guff and headaches if this problem was dealt with sooner. Nice to see a playable shot back, thats what counts.

I used to get my equipment drilled by roger there, before i moved to montana talk about an awesome pro shop. He explains everything so you can understand.. no med. terms definately take the time to travel to lynnwood to get equipment. Great guy always havin fun

Shot needs to be improved. I’m not expecting the ultra highscoring “ditch” that was there in the past, but the shot needs to be opened up, too much OB. Machines still have too many break downs.
Many league bowlers are thinking of moving houses, am hoping stuff improves because I want the place to thrive. – a current league bowler

We’ve taken in some of our customer’s advice. Our Grand Re-Opening is going on right now for the 9/15/06-9/17/06. $0.50 for bowling, skating, food, and drinks. Though limited on availibilty, we will do our best to accommodate everybody. Come on in and see how NEW this place looks.

Being from the area of this bowling center glad to see it sticking around. Being as leilani lanes was my favorite place to bowl and is gone now, left a viod in my preferred oasis of bowling paradise!
Couple suggestions though on center. Dont changes wood lanes and consider running some kind afternoon bowling rates. Also consdier running bowling special at times when it slower. I dont need tell anyone that there times when only couple lanes are being used, maybe try creating trend to offer bowling for those on budget!

Is there a website to the brunswick alley?

Comment Date: 4/11/2006 Name: Matt
A dollar per game on the weekdays is a hard deal to pass up. Also, Sunday is relatively cheap with plenty of open bowling compared to other alleys in the area. The lanes are somewhat damaged and my ball has been returned to me with some interesting markings (but nothing damaging), yet I love bowling on the wood lanes. As an added bonus, the bartenders know how to pour a nice stiff drink.

Good league shot, good staff. Place has a lot of flaws from neglect from previous owners. Place could use a new scoring system and could use new lanes. New owners have promised to fix scoring, and to resurface(sand) the lanes and up grade pinsetters this summer, if they follow through with it will be a good start. It has a good customer base.

Lynnwood Lanes has both wood approaches and wood lanes. The approaches are good, but the lanes are somewhat beat up & dimpled. Its a very quirky place, right out of 1968. Friendly staff, though. I had a new ball drilled at the pro-shop and got great service and a really good price. I would reccommend the pro shop over any others in the area. For bowling, its a nice place for a few quick games, a fun night out or a birthday party but I don’t think it would be ideal for any kind of league action.
