I bowl league in this center, and if there was any drawbacks it would be the tables are too close to the approach. I know it is nit picking, but it feels like you have to walk a maze just to go throw your shot. I loved bowling the State tournament here and the staff is always helpful. Has one of the best pro shops in the state. Do wish Terry would put some pro shot patterns down so people can see how hard it is to play pro while they sit on 210 + averages.

The VSBA returns to the Roanoke area for the 2012 VA State Open Championship. The host sites are NRV SuperBowl (Singles and Doubles). and Vinton Bowling Center (Team Event). The last time we visited these centers were 2008 (Vinton) and 2009 (NRV). I heard that NRV has undergone some renervations hopefully those bathrooms were also renevated.

The NRV SuperBowl has undergone a lot of renovations and the place looks great! I love the seperate smoking option (seperate room away from lanes-it doesn’t affect the non-smokers). They’re also doing some new events there. I’ve seen some fun Holiday ones (like Turkey bowling…these guys let people throw frozen turkey’s down the lanes for thanksgiving which was so much fun) and they’ve been doing some college geared events. For the past 2 months they’ve done an event called “The GutterBall” where people can come in and listen to local DJ’s (they play a lot of dubstep/bass) and do glow bowling. Definetly changing the image there and providing a fun place to hang out.

I would just like to say that I love bowling at the Nrv Superbowl. The Staff is great. Lanes are in pretty good condition, but the one reason I don’t go much is all because of the bathrooms. They are Horrible. I have never been in a more nasty bathroom. We used to bowl in leagues there but now we go to salem. If they would only keep cleaner bathrooms I would always go there. Please Terry…clean up the bthrooms. You know better than to let that be what people remember about ur place. Clean the bathrooms up or continue to lose buisness.

What a great family fun place to go~ always clean and what a wonderful staff. My son bowls bantam/prep and just loves it. My son and I go there when ever we get the chance to ENJOY THE GAME OF BOWLING during the summer season. Looking forward to the upcoming Commonwealth Games in July Thanks again NRV bowling center for all that you do to help one and all.

NRV SuperBowl has just undergone some major renovation work; to include a lounge where they have pool tables, a bar and allow smoking only in there as it’s sealed off from the rest of the building. They also just installed a new scoring system that lets the bowler choose from many different themes, which my kids have a blast doing. It’s really nice to see a company that puts back into it’s business the way that they do. My kids just brought home cards that they can use all summer for a free game a day.. when you have three of them, those free games can save you.. but when I took the kids into use them, they signed my husband and I up for our own card so we could have our own free game a day too.. so it wasn’t just for the kids..If you bowl, I’d suggest you go in and sign up for the card.. I just had to give some simple info and could use it right then and there. Honestly, with this Eco the way it is, I will take any savings I can get!! So, Thanks NRV SuperBowl!!

The NRV super bowl in Christiansburg , Virginia has good lanes to bowl on. Whether you bowl on a league or just for fun. How ever the bathrooms are not kept very clean or sanitary. True they stay very busy. That is no excuse! Not a good place to go if you are not a smoker, only a day or two they won’t allow smoking. Food is pretty good.

The comments made by man calling himself Tommy Jones is not the pro bowler, but is a past employee of the Superbowl which will on day find himself in court. The comments made by this individual could not be further from the truth.
The real Tommy Jones is not happy about this man using his name either. To anyone wanting a good clean, fun, safe place to bowl go check out the Superbowl.

I have gone to several bowling centers, which included bowling in leagues, and I none compare to this center. The management goes above and beyond to keep all patrons, whether league or open, to make sure all bowlers are satisfied. The rates are good and the restaurant is great, both food and employees, not to mention cleanliness. It is nice to see a bowling center to where you can actually see a return for the fees that one pays. I would recommend this center highly to anyone, whether it be recreational or league bowling. It is especially great for beginners as the staff is more than willing and able to coach and help anyone.

I have bowled at the superbowl for five years and believe the staff and management offers everyone the opertunity to have a good time and enjoy thier sport. They have something for everyone. The serios bowler has four nights a week to bowl team and the teens have two nights to bowl until late to keep them off the streets. The kitchen does get overwhelmed sometimes but does a fine job. We have Virginia Tech bowling team practicing three times a week because the staff likes to support them. The staff and management is dedicated to promoting fun bowling.

The management at NRV Superbowl is completely money driven, no support for leagues or open bowling. Restaurant is very poor, very dirty and the management in incompetitent. Basically, if this bowling center burned to the ground, noboby would miss it.
