I think the bowling alley has come along way. I used to bowl for fun along time ago. It has changed a little bit. My 6yr old loves to try to bowl. The manager and staff have been alway polite and very helpful. and they are really sweet to the kids. it is well worth the money spent to have a good time with family and friends.

Try to go multiple times a week. Staff is friendly and caring, and willing to listen to their customers. From what I have seen, everyone is a hard worker. My only complaint is the lanes appear a little warped, so if you roll the ball too slow (like my two small children do) the warped lanes affect how the ball will go much more than they would otherwise.

As a former employee I can attest to how hard Eric does work and the amount of personal pride he takes in the entire facility. I don’t know a lot of the staff there know but I know if Eric is running the place it will get better assuming there was a problem, hopefully the staff will enjoy their time there as much as I did and they won’t just act like its just another job. good luck E-Z and you know you can’t make everyone happy but its an interesting challenge to try

I am in the bowling center for at least 45 hours every week. I listen to every customer, and do my very best to insure that every customer is a happy customer. Thank you Mrs. Duke for contacting me, hopefully problem resolved. My email address is Anonymous, if you wish to file a complaint, please contact me. Not quite sure what we’ve done wrong…

sorry excuse for a business, would be nice to see it sold and someone with a clue purchase it. or it closed for good and all equipment scraped and ownership going on well fare the rest of their lives because they are just fat and lazy

Comment Date: 1/29/2011 Name: Anonymous
they should pay you to walk in the door, there should be a negative star rating

Comment Date: 1/29/2011 Name: anon
I am amazed that they have not had entire leagues walk out on them. They always seem to get rid of the best staff, makes you wonder if they are seeing if they can make a business fail. the ownership is only concerned with 2 things making as much money as possible and cutting every corner to do so, that is what business is about and i fully understand and they try to be the worst people in the area, why do you think you rarely see them, they don’t want to be cornered by their customer base and told how pathetic the business really is. The management do the best they can with what they have and you can usually tell. overall the worst center I have been in

this was the worst experience i have ever had in my life. Took my daughter there for her birthday w/ a few friends and family members. HORRIBLE! Half the time the ball return didn’t work so we were standing around waiting for someone to go fix that. It didn’t keep score right. The workers were not customer service friendly. I had 11 in my party and it was so bad my children didn’t even get to play a second game. So I asked for a refund, I don’t even know what the refund was even for. There were 7 kids and I got back $17.59 for the game they didn’t play. Again, I don’t even know what the refund was for. A HUGE MISTAKE!!!! I will not be returning and I will be sure to tell others. HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Tullahoma lanes is a great place to have a Birthday party! They have leagues for all ages and my kids will be on one this year! I think the price for anything has gone up so if you join a league you get a lot for your money and have fun bowling. There are only a few bowling alleys in this area of Middle TN and Tullahoma Lanes is a great one to go to!

The lanes are ok i am used to the speedy ones at the brunswick lanes in atl. The food is great the service kind and the deer is extremly cold. If you want to get someone take them bowling.

Hello, I used to be part of the Tullahoma lanes staff. I loved to work there. The customers were great. The employees were hard working individuals who always did their best to provide a fun atmosphere for both serious and recreational bowlers. The owners are local, down to earth, family oriented people who taught me the importance of customer satisfaction. I am now in the military and no longer live in the states. Tullahoma Lanes will always own a special place in my heart simply because of the many amazing people and fun times I had there. I picked up bowling and am not ashamed to say I hold a fairly low average. I also learned a lot about the sport and business in general. Please understand when you read these comments (even mine) that they are that persons opinion. Which you may or may not agree with. League bowlers are very important to bowling centers especially small town centers such as Tullahoma Lanes. I can ensure you that every effort is made to please and accommodate these individuals. Unfortunately there is only so much you can do until all options have been exhausted. Tullahoma Lanes was remolded a few years back and from what I understand is now a smoke free environment. I can’t speak for the current every day staff however I personally know the management team at Tullahoma Lanes. They love the sport and business and treat each customer with the respect that they deserve. Whether that person is a league bowler or a seven year old child celebrating their birthday party. Try them out and form your own opinion. In the end it’s the only one that matters.

a good fair shot, averages not blown out of proportion. the shot is consistant almost always within 2 boards except for lanes 1 and 2 I think as explained by the staff is due to the metal building and possibly airflow they just seem a little dryer than the rest of the lanes. handful of pinsetter problems like all centers. approaches can be a little tacky when it is raining

I wanna know, if you have a seven star rating, how come you only have a 5 star voting system? Looks like the rating was bogus to me. Well, now it’s looks a little more reasonable, below the 5 star max voting capability. **Thanks for calling this to our attention – it has now been corrected**

The smoke is bad. I would like to see a smoke free alley.

I bowl at Tullahoma Lanes every week during the Fall. The only staff I can get attention from is Tommy. He is always friendly and very helpful. When you go to the desk there are groups of people visiting the employees which gives the employees something else to do besides their work. The smokey conditions keeps us from coming more than once a week. We do not bring our child with us for this reason. Almost every week we have equipment problems. But it is the only bowling lanes in Tullahoma.

I bowl at Tullahoma Lanes and at Shelbyville Lanes. I like Tullahoma’s lanes better but The staff is much better at Shelbyville. Most people that I bowl with don’t like the Tullahoma staff that much either. We bowl there because it is convenient. The staff at Tullahoma Lanes needs to know that the customer is always right. It seems to be a long delay sometimes in league play when the pinsetter messes up. The smoke in Tullahoma Lanes is terrible. Just my thoughts for whatever it’s worth. Good managers would never let league bowlers be treated like those fellows were. League bowlers should have priority.

I was willing to settle this like an adult and you ask us to leave. It was a bad business decision on your behalf, there was no negotiation, we both told you to bring the people on lane 11 down to our lane, you know that, but you wanted to move us, we also said bring two people down to our lane, more than 4 people to a lane and no bowling can be done, we were going to leave very soon anyways, we told you that, yet you still ask us to leave. We were also there the night before for the Quarter Mania, and no willingness was given to accomodate us to bowl, you ask to come back another night and suggested getting there early in order to reserve a lane, so we did, and again we were ask to come back another night. But I’m ok with your business decision, we have been very happy bowling at Shelbyville Lanes and will continue to do so. I am not disappointed at all by your decision, your facility is more like a club with the smoke filled air and young teenagers running around playing that thug music, I literally have to strip down when I get home and wash my clothes immediately, you did me a favor, thanks.

In reference to comments made on 12/26/05, first of all, lane conditions have provided 9 honor scores in 4 months (including seven 300 games)! As for lane availability, during promotional events (like the one you attended) we have a posted policy that states we reserve the right to put up to 5 bowlers per lane so that we may accomodate as many customers as possible. You had two people on your lane, all other lanes had 6 people because they were willing to go by the policy. We cannot make an exception for one lane and expect all other customers to be okay with that! I’m sorry, I hope that we may settle this like adults instead of through comment boards and nasty emails.

Too smokey for me. Staff not very friendly. More of a kids hang-out than a bowling alley.

Last week I was treated very bad by management. I will never go back and will tell everyone I know about them. Lane conditions not very good. Equipment shoddy. I hope they go out of business!

Management is poor. They take priority to personal favorites on who gets lane preferences. Management didn’t care that I was a regular bowler with two teams in league bowling when they ask me to leave so others could have the lane I was on. Taking my business elsewhere where customers are truly appreciated.

A very modern center. Completely remodeled, clean environment. The food is awesome! Sometimes pricey but they run plenty of promotions that save money.

Their renovation has made this center one of the best in the southern portion of the state. The Brunswick 2000 Series of furniture is definitely a nice addition. Lane maintenance has produced quite a few 300’s this last season.
