Like was announced a few comments ago, there is NO smoking anymore inside the bowling alley. I have known the owner of Countryside Lanes since it was located where Cinema Bowl is, and he always works to keep his customers happy

In case you’ve been under a rock the last several weeks, North Carolina restuarants and bars are by law now smoke free. This includes bowling centers.

If you want a clean atmosphere ( Smoke Free) come to Cinema Bowl , over on Cinema Drive next to the cinema

I would just like for somebody to let me know if you have bowling leagues for children and if you do, the cost, times, etc. and how to get a child involved. Thanks. My e-mail address is {Sorry – no personal email addresses allowed. We advise you to call the center directly – B2U Staff}

I live in Kernersville and have bowled at Countryside Lanes. I am now excited that Kernersville now has another bowling center “Cinema Lanes”. In bowling at Countryside the center is so compact that the smoke just lingers in the air and causes the smell on your clothes when you leave to be enormous. At Cinema Bowl there is no smoking allowed only in the lounge. With small kids it is a great asset. They also have a great staff that makes you feel at home. There is something for everyone at Cimema Bowl and the Food is great also. Also, at Cinema Bowl they have made several league available to help the community – there new Tuesday Night Church League is a wonderful thing it help promote the churches in our area and also is a great time for fellowship. I think our community needs to step up and help make the entire staff at Cinema Bowl feel as welcome as they have my family and numerous others. If you are looking for a great atmosphere that is non-smoking and family oriented go try Cinema Bowl out. They have great prices and daily special.

It will be a joyous day the day they ban smoking in bowling centers. That will be the day when it goes back to Family bowling. Now the smoke filled air just pollutes the childrens lungs and the lungs of all the non-smokers. Don’t we have a right to breathe clean air too?

My home center is 24lanes Swamp Fox Lanes in a town called Moncks Corner,SC.,about 45mins northwest from downtown Charleston. They just installed brand new AMF AccuVision scoring last year,it’s great.The lanes and approaches are wood and the machines are Brunswick A2 It is really a challenge to bowlhere;in a GOOD way one of the toghest houses in the Charleston area,if you can bowl decent here you can bowl anywhere in Charleston and there are plenty.INcluding military bases and Elks club yes they have lanes but you have to know someone who’s a member and get invited and there’s Chas.Rifle Club in downtown CHAS..You can Only bowl there for March of Dimes every Feb/March,it’s a private resort and you have to be a registered league bowlerbefore they’ll even let you cross .Have your sanction card ready you WILL be asked to produce it.Any way SWamp Fox is a great center the people who work there/own it are really nice people and will do anything possible to make sure your experience is a positive one and that you’ll come back have bowled here for going on 9years 8of them on leagues.Pro shop is outstandinggood night

If they ever ban smoking, they will lose my business along with a whole lot others. Probably would put them out of business

The blowing alley is fun, but as they allow smoking, it’s very smokey and I left out of there stinking! Hopefully someday soon they’ll ban smoking in there and I’d go there much more often.

I have family from here sister -in -law comes up to visit parents .they told me about a bowling center in town and then I saw a flyer for a Tournament to be held there.maybe the next one that comes up I’ll try to arrange my vacation time to cover to bowl in it.practice a couple days before so I’ll kind of know what to expect.Any good hotels /restaurants near the lanes? I’d rather pay more and get a clean room $50-$75.00.and a decent meal;$15-$20.00,these figures are an est.of what I’d expect to pay.Thanks in advance for any suggs.I will consider all.If anyone can give me this rangeor at least let me know if I’m on the mark I would appreciate it.thks.again .Good night.

Friendly staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Outstanding food. Excellent facility. Great environment for bowling. When in Kernersville, stop by and have the ultimate bowling experience. You will be glad you did.

It has become increasingly hard to find a good hotdog. Say No More. When in Kernersville, visit Countryside Lanes for the best hotdog in town. The trick seems to be the correct combination of ingredients. Whether you bowl or not, stop by for a hotdog. You will not regret it.

Nice place, good people. Lanes are so…so. Sometimes over oily, sometimes dry. Balls get pitted occasionally. Small place, Only about 24 lanes.
Nice that you can still smoke here. Good Greasy Bowling Alley Food.

Owner very friendly, helpful. Facility small, average quality. Lanes etc. well maintained but tricky. My biggest complaint is poor inside air quality. Tobacco smoke suffocating at times, especially on league nights. I actually talked to the County air quality people about the situation. They brushed me off by saying that there are no teeth in the laws presently on the books. We need a larger facility in Kernersville, a rapidly growing community, over 20,000 now.
