Mid-City Lanes Rock’n Bowl Comments
Comment Date: 6/2/2011 Name: Munson
There are really two Mid-City Lanes in question, i.e., the old location and the new. I bowled many games at the old upstairs establishment as did my father back in the 40s and 50s. This is really a music club, not a place for serious bowlers. The old alley had a great vintage vibe, but the heads looked like someone did target practice on them. The equipment tore up your ball, and they oiled the lanes ONCE a week with a giant oily rag on the end of a push broom! (Not kidding, I saw them do it.) The new club has better equipment, but I would only go there to listen to music not bowl.

Me and a couple of friends decided to go to this one since AMF and colonial both had leagues going on. The place was a nightmare! The pictures on the website must be back from 1978 or something because everything in it looked outdated. It looked like it was mostly 6-8 y/o kids bowling there. Overall, it looked like a place I will not be coming back to.

From the website, Scary
Dont refer to the promotions as “Rock N Bowl.”
Actually, Blancher doesnt ask for that courtesy. He demands it. The demand also goes for any derivative or , including “rock and bowl,” etc. Proprietors who ignore John Blanchers admonition could find themselves in federal court, just as Don Carters All-Star Lanes and Wolfram Video did.

To the poster below, all I can say is you missed it.The place is a city icon. When you visit New Orleans it is a must-see.

Comment Date: 3/19/2006 Name: Anonymous
Y’know, I was ready to make Rock ‘n Bowl one of the “must see” places on my itinerary (I’m making my first visit to New Orleans), but I just went to the website and I gotta say the whole hardass attitude on an entire webpage devoted to their trademark on the name “Rock ‘n Bowl” just really turned me off. That and the menu has things like fries and other sides listed as “lagniappe”. I’m not even from here, and even I know that lagniappe doesn’t just mean “extras”, which is how it’s being used here. It means something extra given for free, out of generosity, and I doubt Mid-City Lanes is giving that stuff away.
I thought the whole idea was cool, and I’ve heard that the music is great, but I just don’t think it’s someplace I want to support.

i agree the lady there does have a attitude problem, but i gave her the attitude back, and i no longer have a problem with her. but don’t ask for help with anything, bc they just act lke you asked them to perform an outrageous act or something, i just wish more fun would come to this area, this is why so many people go out of town. natchitoches is getting so lame!

I think that Country Lane is good to go bowling. If you know how to set the screen its great but if you dont then you are going to have hell. Its an old man there that talks bad to his workers and people that come and bowl there. The lady at the desk was sweet to me and the children i brought of there to have fun. I think that if you want to go bowl dont ask for help cause if you do the old man there is going to treat you bad and be VERY RUDE!!! So ladies bring your husbands and man if you want to be treated right

Comment Date: 8/16/2009 Name: Peter & Karen Boudreaux
I totally agree with the person talking ab Thersa. I league bowl pretty often and ive realized that she certainly has an ATTITUDE. She ultimately makes customers feel like crap. I kno COUNTRY LANES could very well b a great place to bring the family and have a great time but its people like her who brings the place negative feedback. if you think im lieing try this. Jus call the bowling alley during normal business hours and ask her a few simple questions and i GARANTEE youll realize its her. IM NOT TRING TO BE MEAN OR UN CHRISTIAN LIKE BUT SHE REALLY HAS AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM. MAY GOD BLESS HER.

Comment Date: 5/18/2009 Name: concerned citizen
country lanes is a great place to go if you want a rude lady at the front desk to greet you with a frown. she really treats people like crap. she is always getting into arguments with the customers and will always treat you like crap. overall when you do go you will not c a lot of people bc of her and her mouth so make sure you go with friends because locals know ab her and do not go bc of her and her attitude. country lanes could very well be a great spot for all, but Theresa the lady who works the front desk really brings the place down a lot. and please dont ask for the owner bc thats his daughter. please listen to me this place really needs to get rid of her

WOW Don Carters is awesome. Birthday Parties are the best in town and I’ve been to alot. The whole center has been remodeled including the parking lot this summer. It’s a great family center that makes you feel welcome.

This place was terrible. the lanes were crooked and my balls wouldnt roll straight, plus it took me 2 hours to get a lane. all in all my experience was terrible. peace out

Comment Date: 2/24/2008 Name: madchef
Lousy, Lousy, Lousy. After over half an hour wait for lanes, were were moved then told to move lanes again. We just wanted to finish 2 more frames, and then they decided to shut our lanes off. Pathetic treatment, no refund, ruined a birthday party. If you were told to move tables at a restaurant then told you would not be served because other people were waiting would you ever return ??? I think NOT !!!!!!

Comment Date: 8/13/2007 Name: Nikkita Addison
I love don carter’s. it’s a great place to bowl and resonably priced. they updated a few years ago and it’s even better. i had a birthday party for my son last year and it was the best. the party hostess was really patient with th six 4 – 5 year olds that attended.

first 2012 post – hi to all who loved this place and grew up here with our parents bowling league and to the blanda family thanks , mr sam sr was the greatest ! i rememeber as a child walking in by lane 20 doors and he would always be standing by the snack counter he’d tell everyone “hi” , i sometimes watch the 1970 midas open to catch a shot of the place [ don johnson and earl anthony ],i think gretna printing has 2 pics of the place when first opened on the wall , as i scanned the other comments i agree that storm ripped part of our hearts out , i enjoyed friday nights bowling there great people and great times despite taking bowling a lil serious i still enjoed talking with everyone from w. breaux to yes our fav. bobby g [hi bobby ] monte will be missed he gave us all the keep a plastic ball in your bag tip , well in closing for now take care all, i again want to say thanks to the blanda family . hit up the comments !!!!!

First, allow me to say how wonderful it is to hear all the wonderful, heartfelt feedback from you all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I grew up at Expressway Lanes and some of you may know me, I am Sam Blanda, Sr.’s and Gladys Blanda’s only grand daughter, Nancy Ann LaBella. My and my brother Skip’s photo was a permanent fixture on the juke box for many years. Sam and Gladys Blanda’s immediate family members are as follows, with the latest updates, just for those of you who have been with us from the beginning:
Sam and Gladys had one daughter and one son: Nancy Blanda Lane and Sammy Blanda (aka Sam Blanda Jr.)
Sammy’s one child is Aaron Sam Blanda
Nancy’s three children are Salvador (Skip) LaBella, Nancy Ann LaBella, Christopher (Chris) Paul Prats
If you’re keeping up with the family of Sam and Gladys Blanda, here is the family information on the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Skip and Sally LaBella have one son, Bradley LaBella.
Nancy Ann LaBella has two children, Matthew Jonathan Robinson and Stephanie Anine Robinson.
Chris and Katie Prats have two children, Tommy Prats and Spencer Prats.
Aaron Blanda has 3 beautiful children who many of you are fortunate enough to know.

LATEST ADDITION: Stephanie, great-granddaughter of Sam and Gladys Blanda was married last year to Brandon Atley Jones of the Myrtle Beach Joneses. Brandon and Stephanie recently had a baby girl, Meredith Ann Jones.

The family goes on and remembers fondly the bowling center and our Blanda family heritage of love and togetherness. As many of you know, that feeling of family extended to the business and to all of you. You have all been part of the family and we appreciate your kind words and the fond memories you are all such a part of in our lives. It’s with sad resignation that I accept that the bowling center will not be rebuilt in the Blanda name. So much has been ripped from us because of the unfortunate event of Katrina. No one could be more disappointed than us; for ourselves but especially for our extended family – ALL OF YOU!
Please stay in touch and share with us how you and families are doing. On behalf of my little family (Nancy Blanda, Matt, Stephanie, Brandon and baby Meredith), I pray that you find togetherness and family wherever you are.
From the bottom of my heart,
Nancy Ann LaBella

This was a nice place to bowl before Hurricane Katrina destroyed it. It was open 24/7 and had excellent prices and the staff was friendly. The only negative was the pro shop. I never purchased anything from them because I do not patronize jerks. Too bad Expressway could not reopen after the storm.

I want to say, it is very sad to say goodbye to Great place.. It is where I meet my husband Willie. He worked in the back of the bowling alley as a pen chaser in the late 70’s early 80’s it will always hold a place in my heart.. Sorry for your loss Mr Blanda We will always remember you and your family..

i got done reading some post and i think if investors were needed someone needs to get word out , i understand dwane wade is building a fun center which will have lanes but , nothing beats all the great times we all had at expressway , so mr sammy if you read all these comments posted here we out here to help get things rolling . some of us on westbank don’t want to go over river to bowl with the work on the huey and dealing with traffic that time of day so alot of bowling equipenT is lost to garages and gardens decor . someone please rally the troops to get a center open here .THERES MONEY TO BE MADE — Go Saints and WHO DAT !!!!!

I am a glenrosa resident and want a bowling alley in westbank. tonnes of fun and do not want to cross the bridge to bowl anymore. somebody plaese put one in. westbank is booming now!! all of us would go…

Comment Date: 4/23/2009 Name: parking lot employee
i sit in the parking lot everyday and have to see the empty building that used to be so alive. i just wish that someone would just get up and do something about it.

Comment Date: 3/24/2009 Name: Tony Nguyen
My friends and I just got into bowling, but we are forced to drive all the way to williams just to go to all stars. Their prices are quite expensive too, and I don’t think there is any place that opens 24/7 like expressway use to. We would be happy if there was an affordable bowling alley on the westbank.

Comment Date: 3/9/2009 Name: Westbank Bowler
To all reading this comment, I would like how many bowlers from the Westbank that does not bowl anymore and would return if there was a Bowling Center on the Westbank. Also Who are still bowling from the Westbank and have to cross the river to bowl.I have something in the works on opening one on the Westbank. All comments are welcome. Thanks

Thumper,
Thanks for your post – good to know Gene’s OK. Your address got deleted from the msg, so we still don’t know it! We’re at {Sorry! – we can’t publish personal email addresses – B2U Staff}
Please give the old boy our regards. Shame about the lanes – if we win the Euro lottery we’ll come & do the job!!
Best – Tony & Frances.

It would be great if someone would re-open the bowling center but it will be really difficult to re-create the atmosphere that the Blanda family gave to the establishment. Mr Sam’s love for that place showed in everything he did, and Sammy and Aaron’s hardwork made everyone feel like they belonged. To Tony & Frances in Oxford, UK, I was back in Gretna a few months back at The Gretna Sports Bar and I visited with Gene there, He’s doing fine…the same ole’ Gene. I’ll be going back in October and should see him again. My Yahoo Instant Messenger ID is {deleted} so if you want me to relay a messege then IM me with your email and i’ll pass it to him. Same goes for any of my friends that want to contact me. Just Instant Messege me and i’ll get back to ya. I look forward to the center re-opening. Truly a historic part of Gretna.

I just wanna thank Mr.Blanda and family 4 all the fun times I had growing up at Expressway Lanes. I started bowling at 2 years old in leauge as a Pee-Wee and meet so many awesome people thier. I really miss this place and I will never forget. One day we will be together again. God bless you all.

Comment Date: 8/3/2008 Name: Doug
If anyone remembers the yellow tape that was placed in the center of the lanes, it was a unique piece in my memory of the bowling joint. It was a marker for my father Fred who was mostly blind and was able to continue to bowl while his sight was diminishing. The hospitality of the place made it what it was. We need anothe bowling center on the westbank.

Comment Date: 7/24/2008 Name: Kenny
Some of you may know me, I am Sam Blanda’s son. It is true, my father will not be re-opening the bowling center. It has been a roller coaster ride trying to get enough people to invest to re-open. My dad and my brother Aaron have both tried endlessly to gather enough people to invest, but to no avail. I don’t have much but if anyone would like to seriously talk about getting investors, please feel free to contact me {Email address deleted – Sorry}. I think it is a very real possibility for the center to re-open, but it’s going to take a great deal of money and convincing the powers that be that we can rebuild a multi-million dollar business.

Comment Date: 3/19/2008 Name: westbank guru
its great we all would like a center back open but, the reality is it would cost just to get equipment in center these days about 3 to 5 milion , i once mentioned to sammy before katrina ruined a great place that if he would redue inside of expressway that would be cost that amount , i really miss all the folks i’ve met over years there and their friendships .

Comment Date: 3/19/2008 Name: cotton
i really miss this place too,i grew up like alot of you in this place. as of now there is a for lease sign on building and is owed by someone else, i would reopen it if i could so we all could share the good times , expressway will always be in our hearts !

I have been going to Expressway Lanes all my life watching my parents bowl on Wednesday nights in Guy & Gals league, been a junior bowler for 12 years, then an adult bowler for the past 8 years, and me, myself hope to one day come back to this memorable place and bowl here once again. I MISS THIS PLACE SO MUCH I hope it comes back better than ever.

Sad to say, as for as I’ve been told by Sam himself, he will not be opening Expressway Lanes.
Hopefully, someone will come forward and open a bowling center on the Westbank again. I wish Sam and his family the best. The Blanda family gave the westbank some wonderful bowling memories. We’ll miss them and the bowling.

Comment Date: 11/13/2007 Name: X/
Does anyone know if the building is for sale? If Sam doesn’t open it back up then sell it to someone that will. With the bowling alley being opened it will cause less crime, because people will have something to do.

Please tell me… is it true that they finally have everything in line so that the construction of Expressway Lanes can begin? I’m hearing so many RUMORS in both directions… who can clear this up? We all miss Expressway Lanes…

I worked for Expressway Lanes for over 18 years before the storm. Sam is an honest and caring man and I believe he will do what ever he can to to re-open, although he may take a while. Progress seems to be slow and road blocks get in the way, but he is trying to give the westbank back it’s bowling center. I know that once he does, it will be even better than before.

Fort Polk has over 16000 troops.Anonymous I don’t know what you are talking about? I bowl there every week. The services is great and the lanes are usually dress for serious bowler. This house is great. It’s good place for having and the troop to spend time with their family. Oh and the specials are great.

Not a bad alley. Yes, I still call them alleys.
Being a military MWR facility, you can imagine how understaffed it is. In fact, you’ll see many open bowlers running down the gutters to clear a stray pin out instead of staff. That’s because they have the front desk staff also performing duties in the adjoining bar. This also leads to long waits at the counter for lane assignments and paying when finished. House rules or “bowling etiquette” is rarely practiced there, being they aren’t posted anywhere they can be seen. I guess being a government affiliated facility, “hurt feelings” may be a concern.
Lanes are dressed only for leagues it seems, even though maintenance people are there daily. Sometimes the bowler’s pits are full of dirt and sand (but that’s from being a training post with alot of troops coming in for some down time from the field)that gets left there and tracked on the approach.
There’s a few lanes there that have pin setting problems that never get fixed. A few lanes with ball return problems that never get fixed either. In fact, I have a coating of black, burned on rubber or some kind of goo on my balls from leagues the other night. This never gets repaired. Perhaps it’s a management problem or the typical MWR funding ala-socialism problem. Don’t know.
The driller is a good, really smart guy, but only appears twice a week, sometimes once. Despite his best intentions, he can’t give adequate time to one person as stuff kind of “piles up.”
Practice sessions for serious bowlers are limited as they cater so much to the birthday party thing. I’ve seen the whole place filled for one B-Day party and Girl Scout get togethers, as well as other obscure little functions unique to military posts.
Overall, this bowling alley has huge potential. Well, it surpasses its potential, as it’s only one of two in a 15 mile area, and is much better than the one in Leesville. However, if there was a fully staffed 24 lane alley, properly staffed with equipment being repaired and maintained within a 15 mile radius, this place would go under like a submarine.
Oh, the food there is great! Some of the best bowling alley food around!

This is a great bowling center. Lanes rarely break and the snack bar great. 24 lanes of fun

I was raised in this bowling Alley! If my mom wasn’t bowling,
My grandparents were! Then I grew up and bowled there. I know the Family!! They are truly
A good Family and mean no harm. Mike has to be tough
Because i am SURE So many try to run over him and take advantage.
You must ALL Know, running a business as a bowling ally
That you HAVE to have a NO nonsense rule. Whether its
For the kids, teenagers or adults!! Being Rude is NOT the
WAY to handle things, but MAYBE he was having bad day
That day and we having no clue what’s up! We just assume
He is an rude butt head…I haven’t seen or walked into the
Alley in 20 years…I am so sorry to hear that it has gone so
Out of control…it breaks my heart Really to hear So many
Are disappointed in Mike and how he runs a business. I
Would love to believe his being rude and uncaring actions
Came with good reason…I am not defending him I am just
Not understanding all the hate! If you don’t like the place,
Don’t go back, I don’t believe there is a need for slander..
And I also don’t believe because YOU had a bad experience
There, that it gives you the right to shut some body down.. What is good for you may not be good for someone else!
All this complaining makes me think they are dealing with a few spoiled people who are used to getting their way and used to being heard and obeyed.. Trying to shut someone down to prove a point….you MUST be really bored…I honestly feel like that if indeed Mike did treat you all here the same, he must have done it with good reason..I know a lot of rude owners! And they would not be where they are today if they did not stand their ground… Again, NOT taking up for Mike, just giving a different point of view. Just let people be who they are going to be and go somewhere else to bowl if you guys are unhappy with the Thomas Family…I hope you all find peace with in yourself along the way

I have been here a few times and i will never go again. It’s not bad durring the week but on the weekends their are too many young punks there who are trying to be gangster. (havn’t seen any of them ever bowl or do anything besides gather in crowds and do god knows what in the center of them so don’t know why they are even there) the owner needs to really start cracking down on these ‘thugs’ before they chase away his business. Also, the ‘kids’ in the front are very rude. Honestly, i wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

To Ten Pin, sounds like you dont know your head from your tush. before you go talking smack about people at all star get your facts straight and have proof. Other than that be a man and come and speak to someone that runs the business before you run your mouth about a lot of lies. And another thing learn how to bowl.

Lanes were in good condition, food was good, beer was cold. The manager was helpful with our questions, but the kid at the counter was rude and acted like we were bothering him. I’ve met the owners and they’re good people. Some of there employees, that’s another story. Would recommend to anyone that was looking for house to bowl in.

I have to say that All Star Lanes has changed a lot over the years, we have remodeled the whole facility. Have brand new carpet, tv’s setup everywhere in the bowling center. Remodeled the women’s and men’s bathrooms and the lounge. All Star Lanes is now the place to go have fun throughout the week.

Comment Date: 5/4/2011 Name: ken
Absolutely the worst customer service you will ever see. Lady at snack bar was friendly but the front counter “kids” were rude and arrogant. Not to mention the owner is a complete jerk. He acts like you are an inconvenience to him. Don’t waste your time or your money.

Had been at hotel, due to work wanted to do something different so went to All Star Bowling Lanes. Young fellow working said they only took cash, and we had to pay before we bowled. So we paid for two games and shoes with cash from their ATM machine they had on site. Met people bowling on the side of us, fun group. Lanes were slick and pretty.
Went play pool after nice pool tables, we then placed money in the jute box, the sound was really low, so my husband asked the young fellow to turn up the music as it was a whisper and he did.

Went to all star bowling lanes tonight had our name wrote down on the waiting list went and played 2 rounds of pool went back to the desk and the teenage boy at counter was asleep woke him up asked how much longer it would be he says that the lanes are closed etc I ask to speak with someone in charge boy leaves comes back and says owner is too busy to talk leave my name and number oh heck no I go right to his office and asked him why you going to put someones name on a waiting list and not call it and he says he did we just did not hear him call it hear him or not he should of got off his fat a** and came to the front counter and said I’m sorry but the lanes are closed blah blah etc and we would had said we under stand and we would have played some more pool or left then I do get a little rude but not to where he has a right to call me a b*tch and says he is going to call the cops well you know what call them cause I know peole in high places cops, judges, news people etc….. You messed with the wrong b*tch but I will never go there angin and I will have him shut down sooner or later

This owner is the rudest guy I’ve met in a long time. He never smiles, barks every response – even toward children. If they mess something up with your games, don’t bother trying to staighten it out – He’s right and you’re an idiot. When I stated I would never come back, his response was, “Fine, I hope you don’t. In fact leave now or I’ll call the police.” I wasn’t yelling or cursing. I can’t believe this guy is even in business.

that place has nothing but a bunch of smart mouth, gangsta wanna be kid thugs up there on friday and saturday night. yall talk about it being a ‘hangout’ but theres more pills and drugs goin through there on a friday and sat night with those kids than u can shake a stick at. the only nights good worth going is when there are leagues going on. the lanes arent bad…im a beginner, im averaging 190’s at all star and at holiday lanes. lanes arent hard to figure out, if its freshly oiled, u wont get a whole lot of breaking at the end of the lane so you use less spin, but if they are dried up, u better use less spin or use alot of spin but stand way off in the next lane lol the arrows are there to help u out, the little boards the lanes are made out of are there for a reason too. sometimes just shifting over a few boards and bowling at a different arrow is all u need in order to bowl a good game. and dont expect the lane to be the same after u bowl about 5 or 6 games…the oil gets drier..expecially where the ball breaks. its an ever changing thing in bowling. and when u can coop with all the factors thats when u become a good bowler. two months ago my average was in the 80’s. just bowled for fun. since, i have been bowling 3 times a week about 5 games per time..so that about 15 games or more a week. i used to bowl straight and averaged in the 80’s, my friend showed me how to put a curve with my wrist, my average went into the 120’s, i got my own ball, i started getting in the 160’s, now for the last two weeks, i’ve consistantly been in the 170’s to 180’s and last friday i bowled a 206..i missed 3 pins…only had 1 frame open the whole game. last night i bowled a 194 then a 196. with time i will get even better. im about to join a league up at all star. if u s*ck at bowling then u shouldnt blame it on the lanes. if u cant bowl an average of 150 and ur saying the lanes are bad…its more than likely ur not a good bowler. if ur average is in the 200’s and u cant get that at all stars then yea complain, bc u know what u are talking about. u dont like all stars, dont go there and quit your nagging, plain and simple.

It is a good bowling alley, it just needs to be updated and for the employees to show a little respect to the customers that are coming and helping keep the lanes open.

Comment Date: 6/9/2009 Name: italianstallion
This center is no worse than most centers. I have been bowling for over 40 years and find this center to be above average in most areas. I have bowled in 4 lane centers to 92 lane centers all over the world and all over the USA. Claude, Mike, Dustin, Addison and all the other employees make this a place to enjoy bowling at for years to come.

Comment Date: 6/9/2009 Name: italianstallion
This center bounces because there is no giving to the foundation under the lanes. It is not forgiving and there should be some play but there is not underneath. This center is a very high scoring house from both sides. Claude is great to his customers and Mike could learn from Claude. People who judge others unfairly are probably disgruntled with themselves first and foremost. There are other centers you can go to and chunck.

This is the worst bowling alley i have ever been to. The owner is very disrespectful and does not like anyone who does not have blong hair and blue eyes, if you kow what i mean. I am from Dallas and was visiting this place while visiting famliy. It is the 21st century and would have thought that by now the stupidity of these types of prejudice acts would have been over.

Comment Date: 3/15/2008 Name: skeetr
Worse place in Louisiana. Cater to right handers. No left handers shot. Not only me watched all left handers in house on tourney day, not same shot as righties. Quit bowling in league about 4 yrs ago, now I remember why. Bowl at alley in Bossier and average 50 pins higher. Talked to other lefties on tourney day and all said same :No consistant shot: Ask Jason Couch about difference in lanes, he bowled on both alleys. How can USBC allow something like this? I guarantee you bowl on both alleys in this area and let me know what you think. Also know others who have decided to stay away from All Star lanes. Good luck if you try.

Comment Date: 9/16/2007 Name: Anonymous
the “bowling alley” used to be a lot better until “the owner” Mike was allowed to run it.. take a poll and the locals will tell you, the alley itself is alright, so is the prices and food, but when it comes to management beware he will ban you for his own personal reasons, not by if you have done anything wrong,, I speak 1st hand.. was a patron for over 25 yrs…now banned for asking a few ?’s about someone..he does seem to dislike the older paying teens…if they go outside to smoke like the older patrons, he will ban them when they come back in…he doesn’t seem to understand that a lot of their weekend money comes from older paying teens, they have no local places to “hang” out, so as to stay out of trouble.. The “policemen” he hires is not professionally handling matters either, they will take his “word” with out even listening to the other sides version,,even if it is a parent… he is very verbally abusive towards the older teens..south Shreveport needs another “local place” where management understands paying teens..I know of a boy that has saved a few lives up there from them letting underage people drink, leave drunk after being a patron there (if that person had a wreck they could be liable) but he does not seem to like good samaritans, only people over 21 or so.

kellee i dont know how you bowl or what your average is but for the lanes to bounce like you said something must be wrong cause i averaged 220 there with an ease so i dont no but anyways give it another shot cause it is a very good center

Comment Date: 5/14/2006 Name: Kellee
i have to disagree with the person from Hot Springs. i live in bossier city and i have bowled at All Star many times and i HATE the bowling alley. when u throw ur ball it bounces cause there is not enough support under the lanes. i just bowled there about a month ago and bowled horrible but at any other bowling alley i bowl wonderful and most of Don Carters lanes s*ck…especially Don Carters in Baton Rouge…Worse lanes i ever bowled on!!!!

Comment Date: 2/16/2006 Name: anthony
From Hot Springs Arkansas very clean nice center good prices awesome shot to bowl on ohh yea it’s a Don Carter house so by knowing that you know it’s good.
