Wanted to compliment this center for the fine job of hosting our areas High School Sectional. It was amazing with that many people there for the tournament that they were able to keep the place as clean as they did during the tournament. Especially the rest rooms. The food was good and service fast in the snack bar,and everyone was friendly. GOOD JOB!!!

Manager Terrie opened a half early on a Saturday morning to accomodate my 22 scouts, and their parents. We enjoyed our 3 games of bowling, and 9 holes of Putt putt. Also enjoyed Terries dog Andy.
We will be back!!!!

Just wanted to say as a mother of 4 how much I appreciated the bargain prices during the summer months with the purchase of their Gold Card. We spent at least two afternoons a week at Stardust bowling, and eating lunch. The people at Stardust Bowl really make the difference. First class operation, and always clean.

Boy this place just keeps gettin better and better everytime I go back. That pro-shop that they got their sure is nice but it could be a little bigger… I sure love goin to stardust but i just dont know any of the staff their anymore… O and i wish the food was cheaper so that those who make less than 25 dollars an hour could afford to have lunch there. I LOVE GOING TO STARDUST THOUGH

Wow. This was alawys a Very nice center. But with
the remolding that has just took place it is beautiful. The new features a huge arcade, and glow in the dark mini golf are fabulous. They have also made things nicer for the bowlers with new counter tops, carpet, remolded cafe and sports pub. This is a great family place. My whole family bowls in several leagues here and will continue to. Management and staff take care of there customers and give us a clean and safe place to bowl and have fun!!!!

I have bowled in almost every center in the state of indiana and this center is definately the cleanest bowling center i have ever had the pleasure of bowling in. The staff is one of the friendliest in which i have ever had to deal with… I remember in my last experience the lane technician was extremely helpful in coaching me so that i would be able to play a better shot and score higher at this facility. ( I think his name was Ryan…. he was a real good high school bowler|).. but it was an overall great experience. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owners. Cheree, Stacey, Kathy, and Denny are all extremely nice people.

We cannot believe how much fun we all had during our fundraiser for Blake & Trey at Cooper’s Stardust Bowl. Your staff was the absolute BEST. We had never held a fund raiser before. They made everything so easy. They encourage us when we called them worried no one was going to show up (because no one RSVP’d), they set us up with everything we needed when we arrived, they greeted everyone as a friend and made us feel welcomed in general. Your staff was a huge part of our success. Practically everyone in attendence stayed the whole 4 hours and asked if we would do it again because they had so much fun.
We had 72 bowlers and others who attended, but did not bowl. Between the attendence, bowling ball raffle and donations we raised $3,069.00 for the JACKSON CENTER FOR CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION for the twins! We had hoped to raise $500, so imagine our surprise.
It is important to us that your staff know how much we love them for the care they showed us during our time in need. Their compassion and hard work to help us have a successful fund raiser will never be forgotten.
We would like to do this again at the popular demand of everyone who attended Saturday. We hope you will look forward to it as much as we will.
Thank you very much for all your hard work and compassion and letting us have our fundraiser at COOPERS STARDUST BOWL.

I took my kids and a few of their friends bowling at Stardust during spring break. We have just resently moved into the area. Was amazed at how clean this facility was, and the price of bowling was relatively inexpensive compared to the Atlanta area where we live before. The staff went out of there way to make us feel at home. We will be back for future visits.

My two boys have both had birthday parties here in the past year and we hosted our Cub Scout fund raiser at Stardust this year. The management was very good to work with. They helped us organize everything from sign up to food. Terrie and her staff are the best. Great value for your doolar.

My children had such a good time at the youth bowling camp held July 18-21. I just wanted to compliment all the staff and the coaches who helped with this event for ages 6-10 year olds.
Thanks again and keep up the good community relations.

I bowl in three leagues at Stardust. The center is always so clean and the people so nice. The food is also very good. You will have a great bowling experience if you bowl at this center.

Comment Date: 5/12/2005 Name: Jane Beaver
I have bowled at this center for over 20 years. Have always found it clean as a whistle, and the staff friendly and on the ball. They are always upadted and keeping up with the times.

maybe the good bowlers need to learn how to bowl it is not the best place to bowl but it is cheap and you can score if you know how to roll the ball

Comment Date: 5/14/2010 Name: Anonymous
Great bowling alley for those who don’t know how to bowl or those who want a hook without trying. If you throw a decent hook, don’t go to this bowling alley! The lanes are perpetually dry and only get worse as you bowl on each lane. The food is good and the arcade is great. Great place for the Novice bowler or birthday parties. However, if you are serious about your bowling, don’t bother with Camelot. You’ll just get frustrated.

Comment Date: 4/4/2010 Name: James
you guys have great lanes, no joke. i never had a problem there.

Comment Date: 11/15/2009 Name: Emily
this place is very nice not that clean but great for birthday party’s. I also heard they have bowling games for a dollar on Mondays.

Comment Date: 9/24/2009 Name: Jake
A good place to go for teens on up. Gets a little smokey sometimes, but there is plenty of lanes and a decent arcade, with a pool table for the younger kids that don’t want to bowl.

very dirty place would be a good place for a bowling alley

Wonderful fun place to go with your family and have lots of fun. Reasonable rates they even have dollar Mondays. Now with spring break they have a dollar to bowl all week.

Cooper’s Sport Bowl Comments
Comment Date: 2/11/2012 Name: Z. Cochran
I am a regular here and the I know just about everyone that works there and I am treated very nice. The only think I don’t like is the Pro Shop. After spending 65 dollar to get a balled drilled and finger tipped, I am now doing my pro shop stuff at East Side Lanes where it’s easily 50% cheaper. My team mate bought VG Nano Pearl, a Cyclone and some other things for like 250 and I heard the guy at east side does a better job drilling the ball. Mine has a few marks on it from the drill.
Other than the Old Cranky Pro Shop operator, Coopers is easily the best place to bowl in/near Anderson and they have discounts 3 or 4 days a week which is real nice.

Comment Date: 5/2/2011 Name: Josh Myers
Since moving to Anderson my wife I have opened bowled at this center 2 or 3 times per month. We find the staff friendly, and the food excellent. The place is clean and lane conditions fairly consitant. Only negitive is the pinsetters have alot of balls getting stuck, and different jams. We give Coopers Sport bowl 4 stars out of 5.

Comment Date: 2/8/2011 Name: Ryan Squires
To: Mike Mann
The only reason Gaynell Mann was saying anything is because around Anderson there is a former employee and very well known bowler named Mike Mann and wanted to clear up that it was not the same person. I think we all agree with you though when you tell the guys to move their feet and quit complaining

Comment Date: 2/8/2011 Name: Mike Mann
Gaynell Mann, I live south of Indy in Franklin In and was up for work, and watched a friend bowl not really sure what your all mad about? all I asked was how the turn out was? and then said the guys was b*tching about the shot all of them was trying to hook the ball the guys scoring was playing down and in. thats why I said move your feet…

Comment Date: 2/7/2011 Name: Stacey Cooper-Hill
As one of the owners of Cooper’s Sport Bowl I read and take all your comments very seriously. We always welcome suggestions on how we can improve ourselves and the service we provide to our guest. We can only react and make changes when there is a legitimate complaint. We are a five star center and if you have visited us you already know that and if you have not visited us you will agree with me and many other guest after you walk through our doors. The Cooper’s motto is “Whatever it Takes” and that has been our motto for over 50+ years now. I look forward to you visiting us and being a part of our bowling family for the next 50 years and under the 4th generations ownership. Thanks for keeping us as a leader in the industry and keep bowling it just that simple.

Comment Date: 2/5/2011 Name: Gaynell Mann
As for the comment from Mike Mann, I just want to clarify that it is not the Mike Mann that has worked for Coopers. The Coopers are a great family to work for and I personnally do not like this web site. If you do not have the b*lls to give your name, then you should not be placing comments on here. I have been to many bowling centers around the state of Indiana and Coopers blows them out of the water. The staff is friendly and helpful, the establishment is very clean and maintained and the food is #1.

Comment Date: 2/5/2011 Name: Joe
Look at this..One person is soooo bored they sit and vote 7000 times. Just goes to prove you can’t believe everything on the internet.

Comment Date: 2/5/2011 Name: new to the area
New to this area, and have had the opportunity to visit this center on three or four different occasions. Staff is always friendly. Food is not your typical bowling alley food, it is GOOD! Emplyees seem to take pride in the place, and coming from the east coast, that is refreshing. They offer lots of discounted bowling too. We will be back. (also good job on clearing your parking lot during the recent ice storm) We have visited bowling alleys in a lot of areas, this is one of the nicest. Keep upthe good work

Peace on Earth … good will towards bowlers !!

Comment Date: 2/3/2011 Name: re:
Masters questions need to be directed to the tournament director Jeff Circle. As for the USBC concerns call them. And the award problems can go the the league secretaries or the city secretary. Quit whining and bowl.

Thanks to all that participated in the Indiana State Masters Tournament. It was a great weekend, with alot of great bowlers!!

Comment Date: 1/30/2011 Name: crazytruck2
it seem mighty funny that the score that Jason shot was posted on bowl .com a week after he shot it, in the sports league, Some people need to understand that the bowling centers don’t have anything to do with getting the awarsds to the bowlers. So until you learn the way things are done, maybe you need to keep your comment to the back of your mind and let the people that order the awards do their jobs. If you want more information just ask anyone and they will point you in my direction and you can stop hidding and come to me face to face and I will explain the truth behind the awards. About any one can tell you who the crazytruck is, and from the things I have seen you already know who I am so come talk to ME.Don’t be chicken talk to me.

Coopers is by far the nicest bowling center around. The owners are very involved and very nice people. Coming from someone who has spent a lot of time in other bowling centers around the state, Coopers is definitely one of if not the nicest center in the state… You guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work

Very nice center. The food is excellent and so is the staff. Check it out for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.

Being a nibnose and looked on bowl.com and this Jason McCord from the Anderson area shot this 819 on 9/9/2010 according to his achievments listing…..How did the league re-submit the score with an earlier date? Sounds like somebody is just being childish online and trying to cause trouble.

Comment Date: 1/27/2011 Name: Cheree Cooper-Fillmore
The Sport League’s shot at Cooper’s has been compliant every week of bowling. This is verified thru USBC. This information is available to anyone on www.bowl.com. Jason McCord’s 800 series was recognized by USBC and is posted on www.bowl.com as the 5th highest series on a sport shot! Congratulation Jason on your accomplishment.
The pictures taken during the end of the Youth Program in December of 2010 are being used on our new website that is being designed. We hope to have this new website up and running in a couple of months. The pictures will be available for viewing on the new website.

Its Funny how things work out Jason was Told by the league/Staff at Coopers the shot didnt pass then they/Coppers Staff has worked hard for three weeks to get a shot that will pass and then you turn the score back in like it was shot again…And No One has reply to these post until Jason gets his award tonight? Might just have to pass this along to USBC and see what they say…my two cent

Cindy, This information is coming from your bowlers, And you know the shot didnt pass!! or the young man would have got the USBC award right? Is USBC give him a award?? But I do understand things happen with machines and so on, so dont act like things are going good. with the shot it verys so much from week to week dry one week oily the next. And the last time I email you I didnt get a reply.

Comment Date: 1/10/2011 Name: Cindy Ormes
Would like to know where you got your information that the shot was not compliant for Bill Robinson Classic. Yes we are hosting the State Masters for the 3rd year in a row. So we must be doing something right. If you would like to make additional comments or have suggestions, you can contact me at cindy@cooperssportbowl.com Thanks

So you have a sport shot league and the center cant put out a shot that passes USBC…then a guy shots 800 and told sorry …But good shotting…Wow….And this is the place thats going to host the Indiana Masters…lmao

New Proshop in Town at Eastside lanes as of January 11th the Guys from Spare Time Proshop in Muncie will be running the Proshop at Eastside and the Prices will be the best in town by far….

Comment Date: 11/10/2009 Name: Unreal
I have to agree on the manors of the older guy in the pro shop. It almost seems like, if he doesn’t know you, he has no time for you. It makes me wonder how someone like that can stay in business. And rude doesn’t begin to describe how I was treated when I asked about a ball and shoes (hey buddy, I do know a little something about bowling and I bet I know my game better than you do so don’t tell me I don’t know what I am talking about). If I want to be talked down to, I’ll do it someplace else. I don’t need to give an old rude guy my money. Good luck in the future and if you ever get run out of business, I’ll be the one standing there laughing at your rude butt. Aside from that, the lanes are some of the best in Central Indiana and the staff seems to care (except for the old guy in the pro shop).
On a side note, don’t buy your bowling stuff from the rude guy in the pro shop. He is way over priced and does not do a great job of drilling a ball. If I am going to pay that much to have a ball drilled, it better be done right.

Comment Date: 9/12/2009 Name: chris B
I really enjoyed bowling in the bowling center… I wish that there was a section for pro shops though. I went in to the pro shop and was treated like a total idiot. I have been bowling for a while now and did not appreciate the treatment I received while in there. I did enjoy the center though and the re-model on the bar is very nice. The staff at Coopers Sport Bowl is very good at their job.

My son and his friends would have had a good time if it weren’t for the grouchy older man with the gray/white hair that had it in for them the minute they walked in the door. My son presented him with a coupon for a free game of bowling. It was a promotional coupon on the back of a Tony’s Pizza box. They were supposed to be a participating bowling alley, and they ARE listed on the Tony’s site, but the man refused the coupon without even looking at it – and he kept it! He blamed them because the automatic rack was stuck in the down position, and he complained because their street shoes were wet when they came in. It’s winter! They didn’t walk on the wood floor. The guy treated them like dirt. When this guy is working they will NOT be bowling there again. If he’s the owner than he needs to retire. He obviously hates teens, but he took their money and then complained the entire time.

Smoke filled and out dated. Workers are relatively nice but not too motivated. Bronko’s Pizza attached inside is a plus if you like pizza. Bring your own shoes and bowling ball.

I agree, they should replace your ball. I am aware that other centers give better service and would have given you a replacement. Sounds like you are getting screwed.

I always thought it was bowl at your own risk.

Today I had an incident with the lanes. The sweep came down and took several chunks out of my week and a half old ball. I was disappointed with the service I received about it. The pro shop worker said that he was only going to fill it in. The chunks appear to be out of the track of the ball and the worker was extremely ignorant and untrustworthy. I feel I deserve a new ball because of it. Hillcrest should be ashamed about their service. Thanks.
