I noticed it’s been a while since the last comment, but things have definitely changed. On our visit to this place it is very run down. And having to do it “Old School” wasn’t so bad, but it doesn’t seem like anything has been maintained. The staff didnt even give us a score sheet and complained because we used a coupon. I think it has 6 lanes, but only 5 working. We laughed at how our lane leaned to the left…not sure what was up with that. With some maintenance and care it could be a fun adventure, but we won’t be back anytime soon.

I stopped in this place to check it out on a Sat nite when I was up in area working. Reminded me of the old neighborhood bowls in Tacoma and Seattle like 6th Ave. Lanes, and Greenwood Bowl. Nothing wrong with “used synthetics” either. Pacific Lanes in Tacoma bought all of the “used synthetics and Brunswick scoring when New Frontier in Tacoma closed (Thanks Don Freund!)
Pacific is doing good and it takes owners and staff to make a place good! Give the current owners at Snoqualmie credit for trying to make it better and make a go of it! And the pizza was good too!

This is a fine place, I love the old time feel. Great for casual bowling, I do not bowl often and on occasion go there with my son and his freinds for a hr or so. Friendly service, and we can bowl on a Sat night when every place else is booked up with leagues.

No, not the onwer just an old fart whose been bowling there for over 16 years. You’re right, it’s cramped, but the small atmosphere is why I love it. I’ll be sure to let the owners know about this website though and maybe will respond. They’re nice people and I’ve seen this place go through 4 owners in 6 years, and they are the only ones to make the place better and keep it alive for that matter.

Tom Barnes: I dont work for ANY center currently and havent for years. I know they got their “used synthetics” from the now defunct Leilani Lanes. There is nothing wrong with “used synthetics” and I know the ones they got from Leilani are in very good shape. I also know that owners at Adventure are looking for auto scoring which would be a huge plus. When I visted the place it was still a dive but I’ll give the new owners the benefiet of the doubt since they are trying to improve the place. Tom you must be the owner or somehow connected huh? A little testy?!?!

This summer we had a birthday party for our 7 year old son here. They had a birthday package that included pizza…which by the way was wonderful pizza! It also made it really easy on me because I was really stressed out about having this party. We had just moved and were trying to plan it last minute. The kids got little goodie bags and had a blast bowling. The package also included the party plates and balloons. We go after school sometimes on short days to kill time.

A, who do you work for? Only those in the bowling business would comment on “quality used synthetics”…or even know that they bought them used…or know that ACME Bowl in Tukwila has GSX pinsetters. Are you paid to write negative comments about other bowling alleys, or just think it might help your center???? We’re not stupid. Oh, and by the way, the crotchety old man hasn’t been there in a while. Now there’s a girl there every day.

I agree! The only difference with the above ground ball return is that the bowler can see the ball. It’s funny that anyone would complain about that. Machines are running great this year. A few years ago I would beg to differ, but new management has been working hard and we don’t see the problems there were before with the other owners. League bowlers get a good discount too.

We love this place! And, the people who say this place is way overpriced need to go visit the other bowling alleys on the Eastside. Check Sun Villa or Tech City…the prices are much higher there. I’m in real estate and know that the owners can’t help that…if you want them to stick around. A new center in the area would probably charge $6 a game and double for shoes, so watch what you wish for. You’ll love the old feel unless you’re a trendy snob and need everything new. I would hate to see the above ground ball returns go too! Besides, what difference does it make?

Way Overpriced for the age and condition of the center/alley. They did get quality used synethic lanes in which is a plus, but machines run like crap, no autoscoring, aboveground ball returns, its a cramped little dive. With the housing boom around the area someone needs to open a nice new 16 laner and put this place out of business.

I used to bowl there when I was 12-13 years old, this was back in the late 60’s! Back then you had to contend with bikers and the like, NO pizza, but I grew to love the old fashioned atmosphere anyway, sorry to hear that they are ‘updating’ it, I do hope they will at least keep the ball returns the way they are!

We went to this “adventure” bowling center, and this crotchety old man was behind the counter… mean – total rip off. The bowling alley has this cute vintage flair, but it gets lost in the scam of the overpriced lanes and old yucky bathrooms. The only reason it has a “family” vibe is the fact that they serve pizza. Aparently, the people that own the pizza place do not own the bowling alley. So, it’s a hassle to buy pizza and bowl. Yuck. Do not go there… the charm is lost in the first 5 minutes

Quaint little house with 8 lanes. Nostalgic with above the lane ball returns. Non-smoking establishment with an onsite pizza parlor. Geared to the family I guess because it’s $4 a game for adults and $2 for kids though to me that seems quite unfair. Because the housing has boomed in the surrounding area it may be wise to check ahead for available lanes. This place can be packed.

Nice little bowling center by the Snoqualmie Falls. Excellent pizza…the best I’ve ever had! I go there about 2 times a year when I visit family, and we always have a great time. It is a bit outdated, but I just recently found out that the new owners are putting in new synthetic lanes and bumpers, as well as updating the look and putting in a lounge. Even so, it is a fun environment.
