Had a health issue in the middle of going live with website please be patient all is being corrected.Thank you

Comment Date: 10/21/2011 Name: Sara
I agree with Jason. No hours posted, prices, and the links do not work! I’ve been to Daffodil before and enjoy it there, but it has been several years. Be nice to know how much it has changed but without knowing the hours, makes it difficult!

Comment Date: 10/17/2011 Name: Jason
I’d like to know who designed the website for Daffodil bowling. No hours, doesn’t even have an open bowling section and most of the links from the drop-down menus are dead. FYI, it’s hard to plan a visit when hours are unavailable on the website. Especially when you can’t get a person to answer the phone.

Daffodil is a really cool place. We sang all summer at the fri night karaoke.Wish the guy had some of the music I play but, still alot of fun.Props to the restaurant all our food was good everytime.

Kids bowl free is a great program our family is loving summer our kids have a really good time and it beats sitting around in front of the computer or cartoons. We will be joining the new junior program offered here in the fall sign ups are aug 27th

Comment Date: 6/10/2011 Name: Russ
Joined a summer scratch league and we had a fantastic time. Each week the sport oil patterns gradually get more difficult and that is challenging but really fun.

Comment Date: 5/30/2011 Name: Don Amensen
Very fun place I enjoyed the friday fish.

Comment Date: 5/9/2011 Name: new to area
What a find,a 24 lane center full of energy and excitement.I came in lane one side of the building and heard lots of yelling and high five’in,kind of unbelievable considering it was about 10:15am.A league was having a close shoot out and I’ll tell you it was close every bowler was matched by the one following.I wanted to be part of that.I guess I would say Daffodil bowl is a very fun place, and very competitive.

Comment Date: 4/23/2011 Name: Anonymous
our kids enjoy the games tnat give out tickets for trinkets, which is good to keep them busy while we enjoy bowling. just tried the fish dinner, not see why eveyone is raving about their fish. Check that out if you get a chance

Always have fun and always score very well.Clean and always busy but would reccommend calling ahead. Waiting list goes fast but calling ahead is great because there is no wait.

Comment Date: 3/18/2011 Name: Johnny D
Had a fun time ,scored big,and I will recommend this place to anyone that enjoys bowling or a good old fashioned burger.

Comment Date: 3/13/2011 Name: Rent a lane customer
Glad to hear Daffodil is adding lanes. We bowl with our family one or two sundays a month and really see value in this program. It’s too expensive to do much as a family but rent a lane is cheap , unlimited games in a 2 hour session works out to almost more than we can do.We have a big group of relatives so this is great. You must be early because it’s busy most sundays which can be frustrating but we go for fun not to hassleout.

Comment Date: 3/3/2011 Name: Larry J
Having a great time bowling at Daffodil, people in Puyallup know Daffodil is a good old fashioned
place to get a burger and an even better place to bowl

Comment Date: 3/3/2011 Name: League bowler
I’ve bowled here for the last 26 years.Anyone that says this place isn’t a great league house isn’t from here.We enjoy it here and take exception to other houses adding crap about our center.Always improving and always a nice place to go, sometimes very full but isn’t that a good sign?

Comment Date: 3/2/2011 Name: new here

We left another pierce county center after we found Daffodil Bowl because we like the family environment. They seem to keep the center very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Got bored one day ,looked online to see who had the best reputation as a bowling alley and found Daffodil Bowl. I like the place and seems like it’s really clean I like that.Looking for a senior league any body want a returning bowler?

We had our company party here and it was a great change.Nice place nice banquet rooms, who knew?I haven’t bowled in a few years but I picked it back up fairly fast 129,186,and finally a 209. I personally would recomend Daffodil Bowl.

Great shot easy for me wahoo I rolled a 754.

Comment Date: 11/6/2010 Name: Johnny Reb
Daffodils playin with the oil damn I’m having trouble Owner says the gold crown shot is the easiest shot offered on the new brunswick oiler and thats the one we bowl on tonite.
Love the place they are always trying to improve,
I guess the oil is probably the same, they just want to offer the best shot available.

Comment Date: 10/30/2010 Name: debbie
love the place as my kids like to go here. always a good time. only problem is when my kids are excited to play those new games in the games room they seem to be shut off. the lady at the counter says they are hard to turn on? But thanks for having a local place to bring the family. please post the times when games are turned on.

I practacally live here and love this place.
Families love it here its very well managed.

Comment Date: 12/28/2008 Name: restaurant customer
I had breakfast there with my family and afterwards we took the kids to play games. When my brother put his 2yr old in the seat of a car simulator he found it full of water that had leaked from the roof. The poor kid was dripping wet and not one employee did a thing to fix the problem.I hope the next parent is able to get some customer service when it happens to them.I can’t get over the lousy service that place has shown lately.

good LORD I work 4 paradise which is also a Linn family owned bowling alley. I apprieciate all the good comments on this site about Daffodil and paradise bowl. I am thankful to work for the Linn family and I think they do a great job at all their bowl centers, Daffodi;, Paradise and Bowlero!!

Comment Date: 11/17/2008 Name: blast from the past
That last comment could only of come from one person and she is the reason for every down fall there. It’s really to bad she has lost every dedicated employee that was let go.Daffodil is a awesome place to go and work. The personal stuff should not become a way to run your business.

Comment Date: 11/13/2008 Name: Totally amazed
It seems the statement from is as hoaky as some of these NON-Bowling related posts. I eat there more than I bowl there, cause I frankly don’t enjoy bowling, but I sure love listening to some of you bowlers whine. From all the centers I’ve seem, this seems to be one clean place, well kept, always seems busy, employees seem too comfortable to have the “poor” management that some of you make statements about. Thanks. . .

Comment Date: 11/13/2008 Name: Bowler
Michelle should have been gone a long long time ago.All the staff got real tired of her verbal abuse and mood swings…I bowl here,I’ve seen it and heard the lounge girls cry over her crap.So Ms perfect get a life and shut your mouth about stuff you have no clue. The management of Daffodil is the same management 15 years running,if you don’t like the place go somewhere else where no one really cares because these people do and it shows. This site is about bowling not complaining.
Great house shot and very good honor scores.New machines had issues but seem to be trouble free now and smooth.

Comment Date: 8/18/2008 Name: Leaugue bowler
Why was Michelle the cocktail server let go????? She was great at her job. I am not going to bring our team back this year to Daffodil. No one can give a straight answer as to why she is no longer our server on tuesdays. I was told that Shelley had told her not too come back. This is the same Shelley that has ran every business venture she has been involved with into the dirt!!!!!! That explains alot. Daffodil is a good center but they treat there employess like dirt of i should say Shelley does. What happened to the lunch crowd?? Could it be the prices went sky hi???? We used to eat in the restaurant 2-3 times a week for lunch but have not been back since the prices went up. We go to Waynes for there steak special. Well it is too bad that Daffodil could not keep a good employee. But it is Shelley with 0 on business experience and common sense.

To Bowling maniac: Who the hell do you think you are? You the kind of person that we don’t want to see in an ally. You arrogant idiot!

Comment Date: 8/13/2008 Name: justin
Bowled the summer had a good time.I hope they aren’t too full in the fall.I want to bowl tuesday nite.Oh yeah I like it here, very friendly and the staff seems to give a darn.

Comment Date: 7/22/2008 Name: Bowling maniac
If you are to lazy to pick up a telephone and call for prices then you are a pathetic life form. Dont cry about the prices…. if your worried about price then it cost to much and you should just stay in your black abyss for ever!

Comment Date: 6/25/2008 Name: Bob
I am not a regular bowler, probably a 165 average. However, I know that my kids and I love to go and this place has always been a great time for us. As for the prices, I don’t know what they are so I’ll just call and find out. It isn’t that hard! This is a great family time activity weather you’re a single parent or whole family. The kids love it and it has much more time for interaction than the same time spent at a movie, not to mention a lot cheaper!

Comment Date: 6/17/2008 Name: Youth
First of all, to the pricing guy. Daffodil doesnt personally post pricing and hours on here. Independent people can post whatever they want on here.
As for the rumors, they are true. I bowled there saturday on my league, and there are brand new AMF machines and pins. Its totally different. Along with new ball return shafts.

Comment Date: 6/14/2008 Name: sumner native
regarding the disparaging comments – this place has been here for over 25 years, they have a wonderful business and are great in our community but it’s too much trouble for you to pick up your phone and make a three minute call to check on pricing? that’s just rude. and you say they’re rude.

Comment Date: 5/16/2008 Name: regular
Love the place I bowl year around.
As for prices CALL…they run all kinds of promotions.Seasonal businesses work hard to survive and this one always puts back into the place.Very clean fun and hard working. They care.
Great family fun, largest junior program in the state 14 years in a row.
All kinds of senior activities and leagues.
Daycare programs, parks, schools, and even all kinds of birthday parties(kids or adult)
Please don’t bring down the place there is several great people working hard to make everyone happy.

Comment Date: 4/30/2008 Name: Anonymous
see thats just it, theres not a bowling alley thats close by that you can go to. so they dont have to tell you the price, just show up, keep in mind winter leagues are over so the average summer price should run you $1.50 a game. yes rumor has it they are going amf because of a whole lot of gearbox failures and nothing but oil and grease all over there pindecks dripping down from the machines. {Deleted comment}

Comment Date: 4/26/2008 Name: Anonymous
how much is it to bowl i think it’s so annoying that it’s not listed on this website and many people have left comments asking the same question. get on this daffodil or you will be losing so much business. i think that it’s so rude to just expect us to show up and not know how much it is.. thanks for nothing.

Comment Date: 4/24/2008 Name: Senior Bowler
Had a great time!!!
Heard they get new machines AMF 82-90 Xli this summer.Daffodil is always trying to get better we see the owner working just like everyone else.
Nice to see.

Comment Date: 4/12/2008 Name: none
Power bill might go down when they step out of the 50’s and 60’s and ditch the A-2’s. Funny thing as you read about centers with A LOT of machine issues, it’s in A-2 houses and sometimes older poorly maintained 82-30 houses…

Comment Date: 4/11/2008 Name: regular bowler
Love bowling here unlimited games
sundays and saturday hour 9-1 was $15.00 an hour OR
Adults $4a game juniors $3.00
weekdays unlimited bowling $12.00 an hour

This place rocks! i never had a complaint! totally recomended!

Comment Date: 4/1/2008 Name: NJ
Wow!!!! I only came to this site to see what the hours are and prices(which arent any) and to say at the least I am very disgusted with all the rude comments made. Especially from employees and ex employees. If you have employer problems…discuss it with the employer, leave it off the site. Im sure the owner and the management isnt that bad so stop making them seem that way. Most everyone has a beef about how a business is run but until you are mature and experianced enough to run a bowling center calm down! There is more than just unlocking the doors in the morning to manage a business like this. Most of you complaining sound like the typical whiney 20 year olds that think they are always smarter than the employer.
I have worked in a bowling center(and had respect for the owners and they gave me respect back! Imagine that!) So I have seen the stress and hard work it is to keep a bowling center going in these times. Its hard and EXPENSIVE for the upkeep. The center I worked in…the power bill alone for a month was $10,000 dollars…thats probably low for Daffodil lanes…now would you complaintees want to pay that bill?????
I bowl 8 leagues a week and have bowled many tournaments at Daffodil and I cant say anything but perfection on every count when I bowl there. I have been an avid league and tournament bowler for 31 years not counting AJBC. There are plenty of centers around the South Sound area that when I am asked to bowl a tournament at one of their centers I flat out refuse to because of the upkeep or lack of that particular center.
Now everyone please start playing nice and stop the nasty & rude comments of people that are working very hard to give you a place to come and have fun.
I was applalled from the comments made.
If yoy cant say something nice…dont say anything then…especially when its out there for the whole internet to read ….you might be chasing potential customers away and thats not fair just because you have an itsey-bitsy who cares beef with the one of the staff.
If I didnt know Daffodil Lanes like I do…after reading all that bull crap some of you idiots wrote…I wouldnt be bringing my grandson there this week. Besides the comment section is suppose to be about the Center itself…its not a bashing session room for the employers. Take that up in private.
But I do agree on one item…you should put your prices on here because I am almost tempted to go to another center farther away from me where I do know the prices. I dont want to drive all the way there and find out that you are overboard on your pricing because I know what it should be about.
I have a 4 year old grandson that can barely make it through 8 frames and I do not want to pay for bumpers for an hour that will not be used. Ill drive the extra mile to go to center that I know what it cost for him to bowl. They actually charge by the game w/bumpers. But I will call and see how much it will be before I come.
By the way….They are Bowling Centers…not bowling alleys for the complainers. At least know the correct terms when complaining about something.

Good god! These people have been carying on for more than a year with their complaints about management. If I had employees like these I’d stick a fork in my eye. If anything, the Bowling2u people should actually moderate this site. I’d like to know objective information about the facility that has to do with how customers are treated, how the facility is kept, pricing, etc. I’m tempted to vist just to see the freak show. I don’t really care whether or not the staff like their boss – vote with your feet and let it go.

I was employed at Daffodil Bowl for almost one year. To be honest with you, i love the place to death. Granted there are some things that should change, its an all around great place to go to have a good time. I have come to realize that i did learn alot from that place and i really miss working there. They have alot of people within the circle that keep that place up and running wich is really good because alot of places dont have that these days. Mark Westlund, Jeff Westlund, Cris Cooper, Malisa Inks, Jen Evans, Leslie Lane, and of course Chuck and Shelly Linn are the circle of Daffodil Bowl and i think that without them there would be nothing left of Daffodil.

Found this place on my sales route.Liked the feel so I got a lane and ordered a featured item from the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised.Home made manicotti and garlic toast yummm!Aparently leagues are a full subject most of the time(I see why 194,237,213 not a bad full stomach series)
I’ll be after our company for a christmas party here, this place is a blast.

Went there Saturday for a b-day party, fun, kept ice cream cold and didn’t charge for it. The games in the arcades were fun but some were pricey. Kids had tons of fun on air hockey and dance dance revolution, even some of the adults danced! Service was great, no waiting for an alley happened, lines were short, everyone had fun.

I like geeks geek out. Thats why we have the geeks as mechanics.Just a reminder for dumb geeks, if it ever comes down “court” comments whether they be Daffodil or Towers or Bowlero they can be traced, even if the computers on the “kitchen table”. Everbodys not stupid, I might be, but we know where its coming from, and yes the employer is a where about it. Why dont we all take a drug test , signed Chuck ya its prety funny Chuck, so are your mechanics

It’s sad that the staff is using this site as a venting post. This site is for paying customers to leave comments….not for staff to complain about jobs that they don’t have anymore. Keep up the good work at your center.

I guess Santas helper cant handle the truth either. As a USBC member bowling alley owners who cant handle the truth being said about them, has to send a letter certified mail-“quote” re: trespassing-Mr Roncevich: due to the “malicious” publications you have posted on the internet and the terms of your employment termination with this company you are hereby given notice that you will be reported as trespassing should you be on the property of Daffodil Bowl. Instructions by the management are should you enter this property the Puyallup police are to be called and you will be charged with trespassing. Charles Linn Owner/Bus Mgr.” First of all the only “malicious” thing about all this is the certified letter I received. I tell no tells, I’ve lied about nothing, I told the truth about the daily employment at Daffodil Bowl, and I told Mark if there are any lies or made up stories contained in the write up, I will tell everbody about Daffodil Bowl and why I am no longer employed there. A good example of Mr Linns way of thing is “quote” the terms of your employment termination? There are and were none. Santas helper must not understand the “USBC Bill of Rights” you see working at Daffodil Bowl is like hitting the daily double on Jeopardy. “anonymous”-category-“8 comments none about bowling”-topic -Charles Linn-wager “my job” and my answer is**************two face back stabbing son of a woman*******by wagering my job I got another job 3 minutes away from home, more pay, a better boss and owner, and able to bowl in another league. Hey nice bowling Rick, I had high average for the house at Daffodil and I cant bowl there any longer, I’ll just go average 220 somewhere else. So what!

Daffodil bowl at one time was an awesome place; for kids, adults, friends and family. That recently has began to wither away and continues to spiral down hill face first. Until sat the 23rd I worked as a server in their restaraunt. There’s been so much drama. People in high up positions you’d think would be the ones to demand that the drama end. I know from experience that they add to it. I am so disgusted with our league coordinator; ( their league coordinator, I won’t claim that place )she is almost 40 years old and the drama and childish gossip is the highlight of her life. She doesn’t like me and never has. That’s all fine. I have never liked her one bit, but when it comes to work there are just somethings that do not matter and are not relevant or appropriate for work. I know this at age 23. That 40 yr old girl got caught up in a falling out between 2 people that were never friends to begin with because the other one isn’t capable of being a real friend. Jenn voiced her negative opinion of me and the kind of person she THINKS that I am. She trash talked me to my co-workers and said untrue things. Her opinion I could careless about. I don’t think much of her but like I’ve said that is irrelevant to both of our positions. It bothered me because she is supposed to set an example. She takes it upon herself to butt into other people’s departments and likes to play boss. She interacts with all of our bowlers cause unfortunately she is the league coordinator. I was bothered that she thought she had the right to badmouth me to other workers. 3 people were asking me “what happened with you and Jenn ? She’s been saying bad things about you.” I called my dad who’s Chuck Linn the owner. I just wanted to bring it to his attention. I feel that is inappropriate conduct for anyone. He tried to say it wasn’t true. then he lied and said he’d been standing right there and all she said is something about me being late. first of all he was referring to a different session of her trash talking me. He wasn’t present at the one I am referring to. 5 other night employees were and they all said the same things. Second of all since when is it her business or palce to say anything about what time I get to work. Last time I checked she was just the league coordinator. Chuck and Shelly have never even liked Jenn. They have said things about her and she’s said plenty about him. Shelly told her she was lazy less than 2months ago. Nobody else could do her job for what she’s paid. It’s 1 in a million that would dedicate their entire life into Daffodil bowl. She has no life and no worth outside of that gossip pit. I showed up for my shift after hearing all this drama she was woofing and having had mentioned it to my father. She approached me in an attacking manner and I said, ” I do not want to talk. I am upset and have nothing to say.” Plus I was fresh on shift and unlike her my customers are my priority not the drama @ the daff…. I’ll finish this in a few

Bowling centers and owners that cant handle comments or the truth being said about them should not even have a listing on this web site. I guess when you ask how to remove a posting, you might as well just remove daffodil bowl from your listings

Comment Date: 12/23/2006 Name: KYLI …wow
Okay look, I never thought my comment would leave people so upset and annoyed. I said what was on my mind, how I felt. never thought it would have blown up so much (guess that’s what I get for not thinking before I do something) anywyas, this is my way of saying sorry. Managment doesn’t s*ck, I do actually like Chuck, he does a very good job of running the place, he keeps it clean and running the best he can… shelly is not bad people either. She was very understanding to the things I had to say, and i truly felt she took everything I had to say to heart. so props to them. And the thing with me putting peoples names out there, i’m sorry for that also. Everyone works as a team at daffodil, they really do. Everyone together does well. BUT I still feel the same way about the nursery. I don’t AGREE with how someone up there does things (no names anymore ;)) She just doesn’t get it. SO IF THEIRE WERE A WAY TO DELETE THE LAST COMMENT POSTED, I WOULD DO IT. BUT I CAN’T SO JUST READ THIS ONE, AND ACCEPT MY APALOGY, AND MOVE ON!!

You know Chuck, you should have just let it alone, and it was done with. Contacting a member of my team and telling him I cannot bowl league Wednesday night anymore was stupid. “USBC” not local-I’ll take it a little bit higher-quote”#2 on 12/02/06 dated 12/07/06 signed Shelly Linn you know as a USBC member you are a part of upholding the “integrity” of the game?? This place is just allright. Managment s*cks. Only time they are around is if someone calls. I always though a manager should be around a little more. I worked here, and had no type of training. All the men here are very disgusting. LAways touching and feelin on you. It took me 4 or 5 times of complaing to get rid of someone for sexual harassment. Lucky I dind’t take them to court. The few people who do know what they are doing there (jennifer, justine, and other waitresses) dont get credit for how well of a job they do. I have seen so many people come and go here. I mean, managment is so stresse odut that people quit all the time (IT SHOULD TELL THEM SOMETHING) The roof upstairs is getting worse and worse, and nothing being done about it. That’s a hazard to these children. I feel I do a great job at what I do, I stick to my job, great work ethics, and dedication. instead they like to just keep the “crap” around there. Someone who hasn’t had a job in 7 years and is a former meth addict, pill popper, and has NO idea how to deal with children, shouldn’t be there. WELL IS ANYONE INTERESTED IN GETTING ME A JOB? lol

.i will use those comments just to get started. since this website will not censor a visitors comments about a negative experience, i guess i can use it to tell my side of the story because it looks like the truth really dont mattter “quote” chuck on 10/27/06 “trust we will present our best foot forward on all occasions. “quote” mark on 10/29/06 “we hope to have this place running like new soon” i guess you could say new?, 1st week of november 8 to 9 weeks after all leagues have started we finally used up all of what chuck and mark call “summer time oil”, i guess you could say chuck and shelly collected enough $$$$ money from there league bowlers to finally buy some kegel lane oil. lane machine is about ten years old, glad someone just figured out it had a wrong control valve installed at the factory due to a model change and serial number upgrade point in manufacturing. the week i was given control of the lane machine we had a 300 on monday and a 300 on friday, and chucks tell me to wall the “shit” out of them, come monday now the lanes were to oily get with mike bradley, thats how i lost control of the machine, they had me program a 36ft pattern forward 3-3-3-10 0 to 2 11-11-4-14 2 to 10 12-12-7-18 10 to 28 3-3-0-22 28 to 36 reverse 30 36 to 28 13-13-2-22 28 to 21 12-12-1-18 21 to 19 11-11-6-14 19 to 7 3-3-0-14 7 to 0 i warned the front desk about what was going to happen. this is a good example of just why the league bowlers have started this year with low scores.

its very funny how things work out when a company has control over “a” employee and then uses other family members to get another employee to say or do something that is wrong or something that will get a person in trouble. integrity is really lacking when a company owner gets his wife to try and do the dirty work, and when she does, the acts or “statements are as far away from the truth as they can get.” well guess what i got you to do on 10/29/06 mark westlund and chuck linn on 10/27/06 i warned mr linns daughter, you better tell chuck if it comes as bull**** or lies ever bowler in tacoma will know exactly how this bowling center is ran and how its league bowlers and employees are treated. on 12/07/06 contained in shelly linns written warning says on 12/02/06 “”i changed oiling program without mgmt authorization during a sanctioned league.””—-no shelly it was not, and wark westlund knows it was not. upon running lanes saturday for league(like i really have any time to do anything to the lane machine while oiling)sensors went out on the lane machine again. it was me, now for the third time since early summer i had to tell mark lane machine not working properly, oiling all the way to left side of gutter past the programed distance. after league and before moonlight i set up lane machine on program #3 and ran 1 and 2 and 1 and 2 were not used for moonlight so there was no effect on no bowlers, there have been no unauthorizated control boundries state or told to me about the lane machine, we dont use program #3. when a lane breaks and needs to be tested, why can mark test it by bowling on it, and why am i getting written warning for testing, the lane machine by bowling #3 12/02/06 bowled while on duty. theres a lot or a select group of people who bowl while on duty, and we had a security guard who spent countless hours bowling while on duty. “”””i get the written warning and nobody else”””” listed comments dated 9/12/06 anonymous on my written warning #1 it says i posted derogatory comments on the internet. jeff marks brother say every word of it is true i did nothing but tell the truth and if any derogatory comments were made it was my integrity because a prior warning contained lies made up by mark. the sad thing about this, even chuck knows its all not true. “companies that have backstabbing bosses have no integrity, what do you call a company when there owners are the same thing”

Hello everyone, Just a little note from the back. I would like to say thank you to all our wonderful customers for making Daffodil Bowl their choice of house. A little about me Ive got 4 years in the bowling indusrty, 2.5 of those I was trained by Brunswick while working for them at one of their previous establishments. I was trained on machines, building maintenance, scoring, & lane conditions. I was ready to be transfered to another center as the Mechanical Operations Supervisor, when Daffodil was lucky enough to pick me up. This is my first center as “the boss” so I am learning as I go. With machines that are antiques, I spend a lot of my time taking care of broken equipment. But Rome wasnt built in a day, nor can I fix everything in a day, trust me these machines need a lot of work, we are steadily making progress. With a boss like Chuck, a good maitenance team, and a parts inventory that most houses would die for, we hope to have this place running like new soon. So please bear with us while we are working on making Daffodil Bowl a top notch bowling center.

Whats in a name? Integrity! I feel it has been comprised at Daffodil Bowl, at the expense of me and my name, an employee. I was asked to help run a expense piece of equipment $20-$25,000 because the person in charge of it, stated his time was to valuable, and released responsbility of it to another employee, that asked if it was alright if i helped him, the ok was given. Parts are very costly, and with bowling being a seasonal sport some parts require replacing before the start for a breakin period. This piece of equipment along with new bowling pins effect a persons bowling score and the “Daffodil Bowl” overall league bowler. With a 220 average, I am able to fix or offset the low scoring currently at Daffodil Bowl by reprograming the equipment. I programed a program not currently being used with numbers from a customers manufracting phamplet enclosed in there product box. I tried to fix a problem-2 problems with one program that was only used by me. In a written warning statement, it states I have prior verbal warning, yet I have only been asked to help once. This states I entered my own oil patterns. This most likely is viewed/or can be viewed as I am using it to benifet my 220 average when everyone else is way below 190. Its not my fault my boss averages 135 and knows nothing about lane conditioning with new bowling pins. I do, with a 220 average, and a lot of other people bowling bad. Daffodils integrity has been comprised by the boss of another employee who can fix the problem, because the owner will be getting hit from his league bowlers complaing about lane conditions. I feel the integrity of my name is my bosses scapegoat. Companies that have backstabbing bosses have no integerity.

Why does it make it more family friendly with no smoking when your kids smoke. Smoking is great for all. They all go hand in hand Bowling, drinking, And Smoking. Ya hoo!!!!!

I think that it’s great that it’s now SMOKE-FREE!! It is supposed to be a family place and now it is way more family friendly!! I think that if you need to smoke you can take it outside!! It is a really fun place and the food is excellent!! The leagues are really fun too!!

Comment Date: 3/7/2006 Name: Anonymous
Daffodil gives all area kids a card so that they can play a game everyday of the summer for $2!! It’s a great way to get kids into bowling. They are very friendly.

Comment Date: 2/21/2006 Name: Big Dave
My game has gone down since the smoking ban took effect. Running outside to get a smoke has left me breathless. I need a cig to open my lungs. Good thing I can still drink. Cheap pitchers make Big John happy. I usually grab a pitcher and drink it while I’m running to smoke my cig outside. Since I smoke 6 packs a day, chuggin a pitcher while on a break from some heavy bowling action helps. During league time is no place for kids anyway. We need to be able to smoke during the league play only.

Daffodil is a great place for kids birthday parties! And bonus, NO MORE SMOKING. Which makes it a much more family friendly enviroment.
