Hey Potential Operator, Any Good news? YOU GOT A FUTURE CUSTOMER WITH ME! Just got my 1st ball and shoes, just need a place to bowl now. The other alleys are either too far or too expensive. I hope if you do open it up or anyone else does, that someone adds a pro shop.

I am trying to cut a deal to reopen this facility. The economy is not being helpful. At present, the hold is from the owner of the shopping center. I have made a commitment to him that apparently not thrilled with. He has just talked to too many potential owners that have said the chances of even breaking even financially are too remote. I am not judging the past operators but judging by the reviews taken as a group, I see the problems and I know the solution. I have not given up yet. today is 8/4/11. I will leave updates here if anyone cares.

Heard this place closed, at least temporarily, but may re-open as a place not hooters related.

Wow this place is great for bowling! We just bowled the Greater Seattle City Tournament here and the lanes were sweet. Cleanest bowling center I have seen in a long time too. The remodel is awesome and the bowl staff were friendly and gave great service. Had some boneless wings and some brews after tournament and the food was good and prices reasonable. Our Hooter girl waitress on the lanes while bowling was a cutie and service was great. Thinking about joining a league here. Our team did pretty darned good in the five man event.

We live on the eastside and have been to the bowling alleys around the area! however, we decided to go check out the Hooters bowling alley. The lanes were good, however, the service was absolutely terrible. A waitress came down to take our food order, and we asked for a minute to decide. She never came back again, even though, she served the people on the lanes right next to us. When we went to the bar to order some food, we could not because it had to be done through a waitress. All in all, the bowling part was very good, but hooters bowling alley really needs to step up their customer service skills if they want to even come close to bowling alleys on the eastside.

We stopped by last week to bowl Monday dollar games and the whole place is shut down. The sign said Closed until September 1st for remodel. I called the league secretary of my league to tell him it was closed until September 1st and he said it was going to reopen as Hooters Lanes and Casino. I sure hope they still have the same gal and guys working in the bowling center. We always got such good service with those people who have worked there the past couple of years. It’s going to be cool to see the whole remodel of the lanes. Looking forward to September.

I just stopped by Cascade to bowl a couple of their one dollar games on Monday and the signage outside said that Hooters was coming soon. I asked the guy at the front desk and he said Hooters will be taking over the restarant and lounge and remodel will be done and takeover by August 1st. I guess the bowl remodel will be done around July 1st. This is awesome that Hooters will be taking over the restarant and bar. I’m there!

I just stopped by to sign up for a mens league and they have pictures posted of how the center is going to look when the remodel gets done. Totally awesome and cool! The guy at the bowling desk said much more than anticipated is getting done. I cant wait until they start so that I can watch the progress. I guess all of the remodel is being done from 11pm to 8am so that leagues are not interrupted. Cool! This will be fun to watch things change.

JK, falling apart is a bit of an exageration don’t you think Just because certain members of a certain league feel that they had it worse than ANY OYHER LEAGUE in the house, doesn’t mean the place is falling apart. AI understand the vote was about half and half, and lets n ot forget that bowling is a loss leader for the casino. They don’t care if the make a profit.
As a matter of fact I have received calls from several members of that league asking me to put together my own Thursday night league. I just hope I can keep the place together for them!?!?!?!?

They sure are retro at Cascade so the remodel that JK speaks of should be a nice addition to the very pleasant bowling staff and the good times. My wife and I have been going there every Wednesday evening to bowl a bit and go to the casino. We are planning on joining league there when the remodel is done. One thing that I have noticed this past year is that the riff raff has disappeared. This place has really cleaned up to where a family would be comfortable in the atmosphere. Kudos to the bowling manager and staff at the desk for making our weekly outing to bowl and go to the casino a pleasant visit.

They are going to be doing some extensive remodeling over the summer as they are putting in new lanes and ball returns. Our league from another bowling center is going to be switching over to there for fall league as the place we were bowling at was falling apart.

J. Bates is paying for entertainment too much to ask? Does everything have to be free to get ya out of your house? Man what a freakin cheapskate!!

Wow what a difference! We had our Christmas party at Cascade Lanes this year and had it there last year to. Last year it was a bummer. No good help at the bowling main desk and no one seemed to care if we were there or getting good service or what. This Christmas it was great! They had really great courteous help on the bowl desk and lady who helped us get the party together was there the whole time to make sure that we were all having a good time and getting good service. We will definetly go back again. Oh yeah and we got a bunch of free game bowling tickets to for when we want to come back with our familys and stuff. Our food was good and we had a blast bowling and had games going on the lanes to win some free game tickets. Thanks Cascade for a great and inexpensive Christmas party and for hiring some really good help.

When free bowling? Time!! Time!!

I think if Cascade Lanes is going to offer free bowling Monday through Friday and then charge FULL PRICE for holidays they should post that on their website and on their front door so customers know in advance so it’s not false advertisement. I arrived with my 2 kids to bowl on July 5th on Monday and was told that it was full price on holidays during free bowling weeks. I decided I wouldn’t pay because we weren’t told in advance via word of mouth, flyer or web site. I took our money, business elsewhere and we went to go swimming instead for the day at Wild Waves —since we bought season passes already.
