I think it’s obvious that both Nick and No Idea are wrong because bowling isn’t an actual sport. Its what kids do for their 5th birthday parties.

Obviously, Nick DePaola is not a real bowler. Nick is just another example of a pathetic person who has no idea of what it takes to be a successful bowler, thanks to the soft lanes at Ben Lomond. Ben Lomond = put the ball on the approach, kick it and it hits the pocket. Bowling = The joke game of the sporting world!

I’ve only bowled there twice, but found the lanes to be very well kept. If you are an actual bowler these lanes are the only ones I’ve found in the Ogden area that are acceptable.

Hey Jon Huntsman again – Based on “Bowler”s comments I am raising my rating to 8.0 out of 10. Still haven’t been there might go if I get teh rating up to 8.7 or 9.0.

I like the owner… and the guy who works in the pro shop is awesome. Half the employees are are pleasant… and the other half are a bunch of rude idiots. And I mean that sincerely.
That said… the lanes are nice although a bit old. Everything is well taken care of though (probably due to the pro shop operator). Games are inexpensive… although sometimes it’s hard to get a lane for open bowling because of all the leagues.

My vote is sencond hand since I’ve never been here myself. But based on other comments I’d rate this a 7.5 out of 10. I’d raise it to 9.0 if the rude employees quit.

This bowling alley is very old but very well maintained. It would be nice to see it go through a renovation though. But the lanes are very well maintained and the ball returns and pin setters are consistent. I am not a fan of the new staff at their grill, it seems they have gotten too greedy. I used to buy sodas, supreme nachos and a hamburger weekly, I was spending $15-$20 weekly just on their food, but I have completely stopped buying anything from there at all. It’s sad really, but that would be my only complaint on the place.

This is an older bowling alley that could use a face lift. That being said, the staff make up for that in the service they provide.

i love this place especially the owner, he knows what he is doing. When a pin somehow hopped into the ball returned it scuffed up all out bowling balls. Later that day he said he would fix them for free. If I could I would bowl on a league every year at this place. I give Ben Lomond Lanes a 10 out of 10 rating.

Service is good lanes are great the price cant be beat and the proshop knows what they’re doing, only problem is only 20 lanes and often can’t get on because of leagues

I had my 5 year olds birthday party here. I enjoyed the bowling, and they let me bring in food and drinks, which was nice. However, the lady was extremely onery. Yelled at my son, was annoyed at giving us two lanes, and wanted us to bowl with only 2 balls and there were 7 kids bowling in two different lanes. Out of ten points possible, I’d give them a 5 mostly because employees were rude.

I didnt like the employee there.. we didnt even bowl there because there was a very rude man to us.. we got there before another couple and the employee ignored us gave them a lane and then turned to us and told us it would be a 45 minute wait.. yea right.

The lanes are well kept. The center is very clean, with employees that understand how to take care of bowlers. The scoring system is new and easy to operate. Pin setters are fast with dependable ball returns. This center is a prize for the Ogden area.
