Right now, only Monday nights and Wednesday nights have any decent bowlers in the house. Red Crown use to have the area’s best scratch league on Friday nights, what happened to it?? I think Red Crown throws down one of the fairest league shots in the area, not terribly easy ones like the ABC houses or a walled shot like Trindle. Monday could use some more teams!!

Red Crown needs to advertise better or they may suffer the same fates that ABC West and Trindle are going through, reduction in league bowling. Advertise and you may see a slight increase. Monday nights are the best night at Red Crown and may be the best league there but Wednesday nights fill the house!!

I like what Donnie has done with changing the oil from week to week. Unlike the Bowers who like it easy, this place tries to make their bowlers earn their scores.
Of course, Red Crown is home to best Men’s handicap league in PA!!

I bowled here on my road trip to TN, and it was a VERY nice bowling alley. It had a scoring system that didn’t count too fast and didn’t freeze up. The shot was easy, but not so easy that I got nothing but strikes. 4/5

Anyone who wants to bowl in a “real” league in this area should seriously think of joining the Monday night league at Red Crown. Hands down, the best handicap league in Pennsylvania. A lot of fun and a great time. Get 5 more teams and the league will be on every lane in the alley.

Congratulations to Tommy Gollick. I don’t care what idiot says “The shot is too easy”. No one has ever shot 47 strikes in a row, EVER. So if you are saying the shot is too easy, then you go out and do the same thing Tommy did. That is awesome. Hopefully it helps get more people to come bowl at the best house in Harrisburg!!

We went out bowling for our staff party and we had a blast… The employees were very helpful and the draft specials in their lounge are reasonably priced.. I am sure we will do this again!

Red Crown has the best handicap men’s bowling league in the area and possibly the State. The league had 20 5 man teams this year and it would be nice if Donnie could find 4 more teams to completely fill the place and kick out the women’s league that has 4 2 person teams. Donnie does know how to treat his bowlers right and Red Crown does not make its “shot” real easy like ABC West and ABC North. I wish you could bring back your scratch leagues and continue to grow your PBA Experience league.

Donnie does a great job running this bowling alley in a not so great area of Harrisburg. I wish the place was larger, had more lanes, more room to put your bowling bags and had a wider variety of food in there snack bar. Olive is a great and wonderful bartender.

Is the old guy that works rock n bowl till closing RETARDED? We were there the other week and he accused me of trying to steal rental shoes…. I am pretty sure Don still owns the place and cant believe he hired such a {deleted} as an employee…. I have came their many times and have met Jon and Jason and love their customer service… This old guy with the glasses that like to talk on his Cell phone while asking us if we are coming back is {deleted}…. Luckily I know Donny owns this or I would never come back… Cause we know once he sees this, this is gonna change! PEACE!
