This place does need a face lift. The sign doesnt even work. The carpet is bad and the food prices are ridiculous.

I love how all these bowlers think they know everything about bowling and lane conditions. The lanes at pleasant valley are cleaned and oiled by a machine the same way everyday. Yes, the the pinsetters are old , but they run fine. i have learned that the key to bowling is consistency. the people who know anything about the sport know that no matter where you bowl you will score high if you are good enough to hit the same mark every throw. To all these so called good bowlers, stop crying and learn to adjust!

When I checked out the comments from other customers I was a little reluctant to visit but went any way pleased I took my visitiing family to the Bowling Lanes.
The lanes seemmed fine, according to my brother-in-law,who’s ususally very picky. He usually blames any poor score on the “conditions of the lanes”. This time…no complaints. The mechanic on duty,Andy, was conditioning the lanes when we got there. That’s right,we were first time visitors and almost everybody introduced themselves and made us feel like “family”.
I found out later the business was started over 50 years ago and is still family owned. The place itself itself could stand a”sprucing up” but I patronize small local business over franchises and private clubs(clubs don’t pay as much tax,and don’t put as much back into a city). Here is a small business making it it tough economic times.
SUPPORT SMALL LOCAL BUSINESSES. Despite negative comments at this site,Support this family owned small business.

This place needs new lanes and new carpet. Next is the lav’s are dirty and the prices are terrible food and driks cost too much at Pleasant Valley. Very rare you will find oil on the lanes like the chances of a blue moon. The staff is unkind and is very lazy the mechanic is very smart and a great guy that is the only good thing about Pleasant Valley.

This place is pretty cheap, and they have crappy food and lanes.
