Comment Date: 9/27/2013 Name: Anonymous
Awesome place. Sure it ain’t fancy but its cheap and byob, so what the hell? Who would want to bowl with stuck up people who care about the looks of the place anyway?

Comment Date: 5/5/2013 Name: Guest
Just have to update – read my comment from 12/08/2010. You didn’t listen and your Friday league that used to have 17 teams is now gone, moved on to greener pastures. League business shrinking all the time. I wonder every day how much longer this place can stay open.

Comment Date: 3/22/2013 Name: Anonymous
This place is awesome. It’s not in the best shape but I have much more fun here than at the palace and its much much cheaper. It feels like home here. Weekends are bring your own beer and you can order pizza to the bowling alley. Sundays are 1$ per game and its 10$ a game on Saturdays. Can’t beat that. People don’t realize it costs more at other places because they constantly renovate there. If frazer renovated, best believe prices would go way up. I recommend this place to everyone and I haven’t heard any complaints

Comment Date: 9/25/2012 Name: The Girl
Everyone needs to stop crying about it being run down. Its not a big deal if they updated it you would have to pay more money to bow. 1 dollar a game on some days how you bet that? Prices are much more affordable than the palce.

I have grown up with this bowling alley and love it. Yes it is dirty, not perfect service, and run down. It is not for professionals. But it is THE PERFECT PLACE for a extremely fun and memorable night! If your bored on a sunday night come here its only $1!

Was there this week, first time in a long time. Noticed the sign is missing off the front wall. Parking lot was full of trash. Nobody inside when I went in. Put money in the jukebox and found it was turned down so low I couldn’t hear it only a few lanes away. Snack bar was closed. Dirty restrooms, and on the way out I almost ran over a beer bottle somebody put under my tire.

Comment Date: 3/11/2011 Name: N/A
This place is a junker. I have been bowling my while life and I am now 22. I have ruined so may bowling balls there it is not even funny. The snack bar is never open I know cuz I used to work there along with Devon lanes and the downingtown palace. This place is by far the worst place to bowl.

Comment Date: 3/1/2011 Name: Anonymous
If you have your own equipment than PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this place!!!!! It WILL get ruined and they will NOT cover it.

Comment Date: 2/25/2011 Name: Colleen from Long Island
In town for a convention.. White malimute/husky sitting on table . Then gets up.. Relieves himself and the owner reassured” us it was all right !!!!! Can’t imagine why everyone looked like they were from a Deliverance scene!!!!! ghetto Pennsylvania style !!!

Comment Date: 1/18/2011 Name: Anonymous
No money has ever been put back into this place. Snack bar has been closed for a year. Music box doesn’t play the music you select. Balls have chips in them. Pin return gets stuck all the time. But what the hell, for a $1 a game on sundays I’ll shut up and bowl every week. At least its BYOB.

Comment Date: 1/12/2011 Name: Brett
14 years old, been bowling all my life … and everyone needs to stop Crying. if you hate it so much, go someone where else. Like the Palace, where the “PROS” go. There right … SHUT UP AND BOWL !

Comment Date: 12/28/2010 Name: Randy
“Shut up and bowl”. Yeah, that’ll win you customer service excellence awards every time.

Comment Date: 12/23/2010 Name: Anonymous
Jams and Jables seem like some girl who likes cutesy names and an argument, probably can’t bowl.

Comment Date: 12/23/2010 Name: Anonymous
Jams – A college degree has nothing to do with bowling. And I know plenty of people with college degrees who are out of work and who know squat about nothing anyhow.

Comment Date: 12/23/2010 Name: David
People keep saying the snack bar is not always open. That’s not fair – tell the truth. The snack bar is never open. It has been shut down for a year now, and management has no intention of re-opening it anytime soon. Guess they think there is no money in selling food. Or they think there is no value in providing services to their so-called customers. It was written by someone else below – “no services or amenities of any kind.”

Comment Date: 12/22/2010 Name: Anonymous
People sayin shut up and bowl, cause they don’t want to fix nothin

Comment Date: 12/22/2010 Name: Anonymous
house is makin enemies this year. People that used to bowl regular.

Comment Date: 12/19/2010 Name: Jables
An a-ok place to bowl, with a friendly staff.
Funny, the Professor doesn’t know the difference betwixt Jams and James Bond. Perhaps if the Professor actually bowled at Frazer Lanes he would…

Comment Date: 12/18/2010 Name: Anonymous
Take a look at your 1 1/2 star rating above and ask yourself why over 300 people felt the need to rate Frazer Lanes so low, when most of the other centers in the area have fewer than 100 votes and all have higher ratings. Do you think bowlers are trying to tell you something?? Bowlers House my @**.

Comment Date: 12/18/2010 Name: Anonymous
Its not a “bowler’s house”. Its an old dump that hasn’t has any work of any kind done to it in 20+ years, except they replaced carpet once about 4 years ago. They calim it was built in 1954, and not alot has changed since. Really.
They fix nothing, they maintain nothing, they put open bowlers with kids on the lanes right before leagues come in. They have no snack bar, no pro shop, no amenities, no services of any kind. The equipment is barely functional. They claim they oil, but the majority of the league bowlers who still bother to bowl there (and they are fewer by the month) would tell you something different.
Take a trip to any of the other centers in the area and do some comparison shopping. Frazer Lanes is sadly behind the times, and its obvious nobody who has anything to do with the place cares one iota.

Comment Date: 12/18/2010 Name: Jams Bond
No mistake Professor Dickweed.

Comment Date: 12/18/2010 Name: Guest
This is not a case of bowlers complaining for no reason. Its a case of bowlers who have been complaining for years and years and have not been heard. The house thinks it is still 1954.
And when all those people whose complaints have fallen on deaf ears for years have finally had enough, your leagues will all have 5 and 6 teams in them.
As of now, the friday league had 17 teams 2 years ago, 15 last year, and now has 10 this year. When that league has 6 or 7 teams next year, it’ll be one step away from being gone for good.
How close is this dump to going out of business? How can they survive with one or two leagues of 7 – 10 teams, and one company league that is also on the verge of leaving?
While Frazer Lanes is closed on Mondays, why don’t you drive around to a few other area centers and look at the business they are doing.
Shame on Frazer Lanes.

Guardian, by the way, is THE worst surface in bowling. And Guardian that hasn’t been updated or replaced in more than 5 years has no business even being USBC sanctioned.

Comment Date: 12/11/2010 Name: Don Peyote
I have been a league bowler at Frazer Lanes for 8 years, and will continue to bowl there because it is a bowler’s house. Despite what you’ve read, the lanes are cared for and the shot is great. The same people who continually complain about the lanes are the ones whose averages stay the same every year. Instead of practicing and improving their game, they’re quick to pass the blame onto the house. If you want to average 200, you need to practice. If you average 150, it’s clearly because you’re a recreational bowler… in which case the lane condition shouldn’t make a difference. I say that to say this:
Shut up and bowl.

Comment Date: 12/10/2010 Name: the Professor
Funny – “Jams Bond” demands a college degree – and can’t even spell his own name.

Comment Date: 12/10/2010 Name: Jams Bond
Frazer Lanes is the {deleted}. Everyone who dares to disagree must show me a college degree before any validity will be given to a word they speak. These comments have only succeeded in showing me just how funny the gentlemen who work the establishment are and how spelling and grammar have been abandoned. You may be a straight shooter, but on paper you look like an straight idiot.
Long live $1 games and the education system!

Comment Date: 11/23/2010 Name: senior bowler
They have fewer and fewer league bowlers every year, but at least they’re saving all that money by not oiling the lanes

Comment Date: 11/23/2010 Name: senior bowler
Ah, Frazer Lanes, home of less bowlers every year. That’s what is so great about it. Every year you have more lanes to choose from because they’re not taken up by those pesky league bowlers.

Comment Date: 11/20/2010 Name: Rich
If you’re looking for a place where you can struggle every week to average 150 in a league, this is your house.

Comment Date: 10/24/2010 Name: Jack Thomas
I was there a few weeks ago on a Sunday night 1$ bowling. My candy got caught in the vending machine and the dude just sat there and made fun of me because I could not get it. Than he called me a “p*ssy” and told my friend she smells bad. The guys are always sitting eating pizza and watching tv and when I need something they tell me to wait and keep on texting. Also the lanes are terrible and the balls are very oily.

It is not the cleanest place but it is convenient and cheap

Comment Date: 5/20/2009 Name: Tim
Mark, I have seen trailer parks in much better condition than the ones next door. It has become an eyesore and is a bad reflection of the owner’s indifference to common decency. Not all trailer parks are as run down as Norcini’s is.

Comment Date: 5/14/2009 Name: Mark
Tim, i didn’t know trailer parks were supposed to be high strung? i dont think ive ever seen a good looking trailer park

Comment Date: 2/24/2009 Name: Sibi
Dave, NO bowling center in the world “resurfaces” the lanes between shifts. In fact, the average center resurfaces every 2 years. If you’re talking about oiling between shifts, that is different. But not many centers oil between shifts either.

Comment Date: 2/17/2009 Name: Carl
Need more teams in their leagues. Some of the leagues only have 6 teams. Sibi is the only one there who is trying to add to the leagues.
And why is our Thursday night league now bowling third shift, with no resurfacing in between? this league has been bowling on slop for a few years now. Something really needs to be done there. It’s getting very hard to find a ball for those dry lanes that will work there.

Comment Date: 1/5/2009 Name: Kelly
Just called to get prices on renting a few lanes. was told ” call back when the manager is in tomorrow” ??? Can’t run a business if the staff dose not know the pricing. Not good.

Sundays are great! Sibi is an AMAZING woman. Come Play!

Comment Date: 8/3/2008 Name: Victor G
Everybody’s a critic. I have bowled at a few houses in my time and Frazer has a great shot. Oh, and yes the one dollar Sunday special at 6pm is great, seen some of the same people there every week. Great to work on your game. Show up on a Sunday and have some fun, make your own ambiance. Thanks Kenny for all you do there, some of us appreciate it.

Alexis, this dump is not retro by design. It is retro because nothing has ever changed as far as decorum is concerned.

Comment Date: 4/15/2008 Name: Alexis
Re: Comment Date: 3/24/2008 Name: Tim
ive bowled here before and i liked it even if ppl do think that it is retro

Comment Date: 3/24/2008 Name: Tim
The only reason this dump is retro is because the owner is too cheap to really fix the place up. He also owns the trailer park next door. look how run down it is! The bowling alley is a reflection of the trailer park.

Comment Date: 3/10/2008 Name: Peter
This place is very Retro. They put in new carpet last year, and the old wood lanes were done with a synthetic overlay a couple years back. Old teal-colored benches and furnishings. Old style automatic scorers. Many of the screens are damaged and barely functional. No pro shop. Don’t leave anything you care about in a rented locker, there is one common key that opens every locker. Other than friday night cosmic bowling, the majority of bowlers who frequent the place are senior citizens. Many, if not the majority, are well over 70. And yes, Sibi is still there. She’s a great and amazing lady.

Comment Date: 2/23/2008 Name: Andrew Fuls
Hey Katie I know what you’re saying. This place is great, but maybe the people not showing up isn’t such a bad thing after all. It could give us more alone time and we can get more bowling done. Cause that’s whats really important. See U There! I’ll be wearing my classic bowling T and I’ll have the purple ball. 25/M

Comment Date: 1/4/2008 Name: Anonymous
If you’re looking for the most up-to-date, shiny, brand-spanking new facilities, this is not your choice. However, if you’re just looking to go out and bowl a few games with family or some friends, it’s great. Sunday night $1 games from 6-10pm are great. I do suggest if you are bowling there at night that you check the areas around your tires before you leave. Between the bar and bringing in your own alcohol, I’ve seen glass beer bottles left in front of/behind people’s tires and no one wants to run those over!

Comment Date: 11/16/2007 Name: Anonymous
To Customer X: If you actually bowl 60 games per week, I’m guessing you are in the 45-55 age bracket and still live with your parents. Get a life buddy, that place is just fine for a bowling alley.

Comment Date: 9/14/2007 Name: tim
Is that old bat Sibi still involved with this dump ?

Comment Date: 8/20/2007 Name: katie flippin hennessey
its a classic bowling place, the only thing that makes it not so fun is the fact that people dont go, the place is perfectly fine, and itd be an awesome place to just hang out wiht family and friends and bowl. nobody needs a 4 star restaurant or a pro shop, unnecessary.

Comment Date: 8/1/2007 Name: anonymous
be careful where you park your car at this bowling alley. there is a bar on the right hand side, and a patron of the bar… tore off the front bumper of a minivan before exiting the bar… tried to leave but he got caught by some children..

Comment Date: 2/7/2007 Name: Anonymous
The staff I’ve interacted with haven’t been all that friendly or helpful. Been there a couple times a month for a year. But I keep going back because it’s cheap on Sunday nights.

Comment Date: 1/21/2007 Name: yeah
nice place just to hang out but could use some fixing up and stuff

Comment Date: 1/12/2007 Name: X Customer
I bowled three games there when I left I had to pay $30 to get by ball spun because there was some sand like material on the lanes that rippede the cover off my ball I bowl 60games a week and that was the first time I had to get my ball resurfaced!!!!

Comment Date: 11/3/2006 Name: avrage bowler
its not the lanes . and its not the ball. or its not the pins its the complaner thats throwing the ball.

I can understand that it’s in transition, but can we at least get a website with some pricing? If I didn’t drive down the road one day I’d never know it existed.

Just visited this bowling center. It is so unclean and the lanes are all worn out. Needs an overhaul.

Comment Date: 7/25/2005 Name: schaeffer
Good price but just needs a little clean up and then it will be better.

Comment Date: 6/7/2005 Name: Anonymous
Older bowling alley but the new management is fixing it up. It now has new paint, new scoring
and new ball returns. And it also has a brand new food area. It still needs a pro shop to help out.
The new and league bowlers.
