my family and i went here today and it was a great experience and price for 2 1/2 hours – we sepnt less than $50 and bowled, got shoes and some soda for 2 1/2 hrs. they announced there would be a special during the 2009 holiday week. high marks – very clean, nice people and fast service. we are glad we went – i was looking for a spot to tell how great it was and found this site – we will go back again no doubt – not like the movies or those long waits at restaurants – it was really good – just hard to find – look them up on mapquest first

The work we have done to our bowling center has paid off – and thanks to the great people that bowl there and their comments – we have been able to provide some very high scoring lanes this season which is what everyone has asked for. We will have all of the honor scores that we have had this season so far posted on our web site soon. Thank you everyone for your comments and keep up the GREAT bowling!

Did you get new lanes, or just did a resurface job?

We re-open on June 1, 2007 with our lanes all redone. Because of some of the comments listed on this site – we have gone out of our way to ensure the highest possible quality of the bowling lanes. Thank you everyone for your comments and enjoy the new lanes!

I am annoyed that bowling has become nothing but a bunch of cry babies. I have been bowling at T-Bird Warminster for years – and for the most part the people that have worked here through the years have been nice, the place has been kept as clean as possible, and the scores for league bowlers have been high. It is a shame that certain people that bowl here look at the smallest little things over all of the great things about this place. It really annoys me because not too many other bowling centers will go out of their way like this place does. Honestly if these people think that this place is that bad – then they shouldn’t bowl here anymore and make it worse for the people that actually like it – which from my bowling 3 nights a week and coming in to practice 2 or 3 other days – it seems that the ones complaining are a very small percentage.

I do not know of a better place to come bowling. The people that work at Thunderbird are the friendliest. They make you feel so welcome whenever you come in to bowl. The food is typical for a bowling alley snack stand, but it is quite good. Our league scores very well on the lanes. Not many places put much oil on the lanes these days, but Thunderbird provides plenty of oil, especially for the heavier hooking balls, which is nice. And their bar has 3 dart boards which you can play on for free! I think they even have dart leagues. Great place.

I bowl on Wednesday Nights and we had an 857 bowled in our league. The lanes can’t be that bad considering it is the second one in our league this year.

Are league has been bowling at the Warminster site for years, up until the last year conditions have been tolerable. The 2006, 2007 season has been a disgrace, the conditions are the worst I have ever seen in any house.Last night 3/23/07 I bowled on a pair that had so much oil on them that the shot could not even be called a sport shot ,it was the flooded shot, basicly know as no shot. To make matters worse the pizza sauce on the approch from the kids party prior did not help the situation either. So I figured I would have a beer, when I came back to bowl my sliding pad on my shoe was completly soaked, fortunatly I had a spare ,but my wife did not and the rest of her night was not fun.Bottom line here is , the centers lane conditions are horrible and very inconsistant and I will be taking my league to another house if things don’t change.

I’ve been bowling in a league in this house for several years. These lanes have degraded to a point where the management should be embarrassed to charge people to bowl here. The lanes are not oiled consistently. You don’t know when you come in for your league whether or not your ball will hook, even though the guy next to you might get 15 boards of break. The lanes have gum, dirt and trash on the approaches frequently so don’t forget to bring your broom. If you just bowl for fun this place is fine for you. If you are a serious bowler however, I recommend finding a house that appreciates its league bowlers.

Courteous, friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Consistent lane conditions and pinsetters. Great food. The new “300 Club” bar. A really fun place to bowl. We’ve been coming to Thunderbird for years and we love it. Great to see all the improvements put into the center over the last year. Highly recommended.

This place caters to EVERYONE – not just kids. A new place just opened nearby and although it is nice and new – it is not like Thunderbird, and it is too kid oriented. We have kids and like to go to a place for kids, but the adults need to have their fun too. Thunderbird is always clean, always friendly and always ready to go to the next step for you. Thanks everyone – you’ll keep us coming back for a long time. The Hodge Family.

Wow. That is all I can say. I haven’t been in a bowling alley in a long time and these people know how to do it right. It looked like they jus spent about a trillion dollars on the place and it is clean and fun. The service was great – the people treat you like you are there everyday and actually talk to you and are nice whenyou come in. I really liked it – and normally I am scared when I go to a bowling alley. Thanks Tbird – you’re a great place!

I like to have fun. This place is fun. The people that work here are really cool and they treat you like people. It’s a clean place and they spend money here to keep you coming back. No matter how old or young you are – you will love this place. It is better than going to the movies.
