Very nice bowling alley, considering that it’s still wood lanes. Very clean, and nicer than the Warminster location. Kinda expensive (4.35) during weekdays. The front half of the approach had this clear lacquer coating which I’d never seen before anywhere else. Nice place and 100% better than both Thunderbird bowling allies (not related) in NJ.

my family and i have been to this place and we like to bowl and this is a really great place and so is the other one. the problem is that there are a lot of other places in the area and the 2 thunderbird centers are without a doubt the highest priced centers at anytime – it is cheaper for us to go to the movies now. we would love to go there more but it is just too expensive – if they considered lowering their prices a little they would probably have more people – some of our family friends have noticed this as well and we do other things now because it just costs too much. if you look at the other places web sites you’ll see that. it’s a shame too because these are great places – it is just hard to afford to go them.

I am glad to see that places like this are still around. It is fixed up, clean, the people are friendly. It may not be one of those brand new bowling alleys – but the people that own this place sure did make sure it stayed nice considering it is an older place. Me and my friends like to come here and would not think of going to one of those newer bowling alleys that seem to be opening all over – especially in the city. The prices are a little bit high – but it is well worth it – and you can still spend about $20 bucks and stay for a few hours and have fun. The other Thunderbird around here is good also – but they have more leagues on the weekends and it is harder to get lanes there – but they have a better bartender by far – so we go there just to hang out some times. But both places have really great people that work in them and they are all cool when things don’t go right – unlike some other bowling alleys I have been to where they are mean to you. It is mostly younger people that work in them – so it is great for us to relate to that since we are the same age and they are cool to us.
