I bowl in a pinbuster’s league every friday night. They let us bring in outside food and have very good service. They even let you order pizza and have it brought to the bowling alley. The best thing is it is a mile from my house that is conveniant.

Genuinely nice people who call you “honey” staff this old-fashioned bowling alley where you are likely to find lanes filled with local high school students taking a PE bowling elective on school days. I bring my kids here for the occasional after-school game and when there’s space, they let us have 2 lanes so we can have one with bumpers and one without. They have kids’ bowling balls behind the counter4, 5 and 6 poundersfor the youngsters. It’s not fancy but the price is right and we always have a good time.

I only have one good thing to say about this place: the video cameras at the back of the lane that allow you to see how your ball is going through the pin deck is cool. Otherwise I hated it. I bowled here on April 12th and 13th, 2008, for the Youth State Bowling tournament. The guys behind the counter would only let people from Milwaukie practice. It was ridiculous. There was a girl at the counter in line infront of me. She got a lane. I went up and he said that nobody could bowl right now. I was pissed. I won’t ever go back. Also they have real wood lanes which s*cked.

I have bowled in every center in the greater Portland area in the last four months. Kellog Bowl is my overall favorite due to several factors: Good price $2.50 during the day; Very friendly and helpful staff; Well functioning equipment. When I bowl quite a few lines, I have even had them give me a free game. The Monday special is great too: everything $1.25, game, shoes and beer, all day and evening! I like the “retro” feel of the place (I think it is one of the older centers, but well kept). I’m also partial to the Kellog Bowl because I bowled my personal high score there of 235.
