The restroom always smells like rotten puke. Regular puke would be ok, but I hate the smell of rotten puke.

Great place to go. They now have brand new video games in the game room and brand new monitors for keeping the bowling scores. And best of all my kids can bowl up to 3 free games a day this summer as all kids can. Just sign up at the desk as you go in.

I’ve never bowled there but I stopped in to use the restroom the other day and it stunk horribly.
I almost puked.

I have been going to Red Apple for almost 2 years now and most of the time we enjoy ourselves. But, recently, our experiences there have been unpleasant. They seem to have put a very rude lady in charge of the counter and the restaurant. Her name is Renee, and if you go in there and she is working, you can bet that your visit will not be happy. She acts like she doesn’t want to wait on you and she talks very rude to you. After our last 2 visits, I seriously doubt that we will go to the Red Apple again. I would rather drive the extra miles into Tulsa than be treated as I have been. There is no excuse for rudeness!!!!!!

The employees have been rude and they are rarely at the counter because they are off talking to other people. I think the “customer service” needs to be improved. But hey, Tulsa is just up the road and they have a few bowling lanes!

Over the past year I have been to your center several times and most of the times I have a great time. The last few times I have been in I have had to deal with Michael at the front counter and a long haired guy in the snack bar. These are the two most rudest people I have had to deal with in a bowling center. How you can employee and allow such rude behavior and never being at the counter when you need them? I thought this center was improving their customer satisfaction and bowler appreciation. When I go into your center now I make sure the ladies are working. They are nice and courteous and I enjoy being there when they are there.

Please used kind words if you would like to entice people to come to your alley. If you are saying don’t believe ___ don’t believe___, who is going to believe you. You should say in a very professional manner how you feel.

That’s not fair Steph, and not at all true.
You are mad at your Dad for throwing you out on your a**. You dont come in every weekend, or ever. The center is cleaner than ever and the machines are running better than they have in years. Should I make off-hand comments about the crew at Wendy’s? If you wish to get back at your Dad, find another way. Grow up. Your comments hurt others you may not have intended to. Some may get VERY pissed off and look to get even.
To the public reading this, Steph is the bitter daughter of an employee and made up the entire post. It should be deleted or ignored. It’s is not true.
This bowling center is getting major updates and improvments.
The troublesome bar has been closed and will very soon be reopened as Bartlesville Pizza parlor. All ages welcome!
The kitchen has been updated and remodeled and high quality products added. (Try our burger!)
We are building our staff with the best personal around and our prices are reasonable.
Come in, see for yourself, have fun bowling, at Red Apple Bowling Center.

There have been several improvements and they’ve got a good mechanic now.

I am up at the bowling alley every weekend and it looks like {deleted} it looks like they havent done anything with it since it opened. they have little 12-13 year olds running around there and causing fights and taking other peoples drinks. They dont handle things up there and they need new managment

I was a employee at red apple for 2 years between 2004-2006 and it was in worse shape when I started and has made improvement. Now i understand it is under new management and the lanes and front is all redone. But i do believe the same machines are there that have been in use since they opended in the 70’s.

Just bowled there and they have almost completely remodeled the place. New tile, chairs & tables, new paint. Looks completely new and looks great. Go check it out.

This place has really gone down hill in the last year. It might be OK for children that don’t know any different, but serious bowlers will probably
want to go elsewhere fast.

I do wish they would update their lanes to have more “bumper” lanes for kids. My 5 yr. old son LOVES to go bowling, but we either have to wait for a bumper lane or we don’t get one. I guess little stuff like this allows them to keep their prices down, though. I just compared to Owasso & Tulsa and they are considerably cheaper. I appreciate that!!!

Im on my high school team and am there 3 times a week. They have great food and it’s alot of fun. Price does put a dent in your bank account. And yes machines to break sometimes but show me a lane that never does and i’ll say this place s*cks. But since u can’t i highly recommend it.

This whole place needs a good scrubing. Everything looks like it has 30 years of crud built up on it.

They have made a few improvements, but this place
has a long way to go before it could be considered up to date. It’s especially noticeable if you have been to more current centers recently.

I live about twenty miles away from this place and I have to say that this is the best place to have some good quality fun with friends. We have been there about once a month

Comment Date: 3/24/2007 Name: Joe
Must be one person posting all these negative comments under different names. All I know is the place is packed every weekend so people must be enjoying themselves to be so busy. I have to get there early to be able to get a lane. I rarely have problems and do enjoy my bowling there.

This place is poorly managed. The equipment runs badly and the employees don’t seem to care. I certainly couldn’t recommend it.

Steve is a disgruntaled ex-employee so don’t listen to him. The centers management is fixing the place up with new chairs and new house balls so far. I enjoy bowling there, just not with Steve.

This place is the pits. Dirty and unorganized. Equipment barely runs most of the time. Poor management.

I have been bowling at this Center for over 20 years. The Staff has been fantastic with very few exceptions. My average starting was about 108 and I now maintain a 174. Lane conditions and machines will break down sometimes, but the staff here works to keep the Center clean and running. No one gets perfection all the time-but I rate this center a 9 for effort, food, cleanliness and hospitality, lane conditions and friendliness.

Henry doesn’t know what he is talking about. He owns his own bowling center with no business and his house is never open. He spends all his time at Red Apple. He would not know a good lane condition even if he bowled on it. At least Red Apple does not have blood stains on its approaches like Henry’s bowling center. Red Apple has my vote for the best bowling center in the area.

This place is horrible. Machines break down constantly. Lane conditions are awful and the general condition of this center is filthy.

I just got back from a tournament there and I didn’t like the lanes. They were only good on the very first set. I think they should oil the lanes in between sets so that there is some kind of oil on them. The machines kept messing up – it took me and my squad to bowl 6 games in 5-6 hours and we were the last ones out of there. I had to speed up my bowl and I had to move about 7 boards to my right to hit pocket and and move my mark 2 boards right. So this weekend I had to think about it too much and I wouldn’t go there only if I was messing around. Well I put in my 2 cents.

A great place to bowl and very good lane conditions, as far as the noise complaint given earlier if you’re that good and that serious of a bowler to do Pro-Ams and other competitions then you really should be used to noise and still be able to concentrate, if not then your just flat out not good, only the best maintain focus. If you need to train on focus, Red Apple also offers a great cosmic bowl session on weekends that I have even used as a training tool before several state championships. This is a fantastic bowling alley with very reasonable prices.

This is a great bowling alley. I have recently visited down there for the High School Regional Tournament and the lanes were amazing. We (Union) had won the Regional Tournament for the second time in a row, I want to thank you guys for such great lanes and great workers. You did a fantastic job. 289 was the high game.

Decent bowling center, good staff and well maintained lanes. My biggest complaint is the kids! If they want to bowl, fine, if not – go home. I bowl in ProAMs and other competitions, but I ALWAYS go to Riverlanes if I want to ‘really’ bowl…too many teens just hanging out and making noise at RA.

Fun place to go in Bartlesville. Not much else to do in town for the kids.
