Yeah I want a real prestigous job like running an AMF owned center, get real, Ed Is a POS, if you see him in any center run far away!! I’d rather work at Superior Lanes downtown. |

Ed Carter has great knowledge of the industry and is a great bowler person. My guess is 1. You are mad because you are not qualified for and did not get the manager position. 2. You are not knowledgable enough about the bowling industry to know how over qualified he is to run a center. |

Is it just me or has anyone noticed the lack of elbow space at Brookgate? On any league night, your lucky if you can find a place to put your stuff and then try walking around without running into anyone. You’d think that in all these years, they would have tried to make more room. I’m not big on being elbow to elbow with everyone. |

Too expensive. Stay out of AMF if you want money left in your pocket. Look at Carosel for example. Anyone who is old enough to remember what it was like before it was AMF, knows that AMF ruined it. Amazing how establishments that charge $2.00 or less stay in business a lot longer then those like AMF that charge up to $4.00 a game. |

You would have to be an idiot to hire Ed Carter. As for Carousel Lanes, they used to have a good sweeper series but the employees starting rigging it up and taking all the money. What is AMF thinking buying all these centers and not putting a dime into half of them like Carousel and expect them to stay open. |

Ed Carter is there because Dick Obert has no damn clue what he is doing. I have applied to several management postions with AMF and never even a call back. Do we remember when Carousel was around? That was a center that use to care about bowlers, and I am proud to say I was part of the management team there. |

After Carousel closed I found a great league to bowl on a Brookgate. That was until a couple of weeks ago when I seen “The Closer” a.k.a. Ed Carter there I was Horrified. He has no clue what he’s doing and is going to run this bowling alley into the ground. Where is everyone going to bowl when he runs this house into the ground? |

I was at brookgate lanes on saturday night 6-10-06. I am unsure of the lane conditions or anything else about the alley because I was to busy trying to find a friends stolen wallet. The sad thing is that I am almost positive that it was an employee at the alley that took the wallet and money. The police were called in and of course the security system was not functioning properly and the police were unable to obtain any evidence. This is what leads me to believe that an employee who knew about the security system not working took the wallet. So my advice to anyone planning on going to brookgate lanes is to be VERY careful around any and all employees!!!!!!!! |

Very consistent shot compared to other houses in the area! As for cost of bowling – Average. Condition of Lanes & Equipment – Near Excellent (replaced about two years ago). Food is GOOD but a little on the high side price wise. OVERALL – VERY GOOD place to bowl! |
