This place has really gone downhill quickly. When we started three years ago at this house, it was well run, safe, and had a consistent shot. Then their manager was sent to Sheridan and replaced with someone we rarely see. The desk staff is beyond rude on a good day and antagonistic on a bad one. The “new” shot has dropped EVERY average in the league by about 10 points, and several teams are planning to leave. This house is falling apart and we won’t be there to watch it crumble. Cars were even broken into in the FRONT parking lot of this place! Did the desk or any staff help? No. The chick behind the desk was more interested in seeing the damage than anything else. Leave this place now…for your car and average’s sake.

To the fellow patrons future and past, I am sorry if you do not listen to my advice and AMF Corp should take a listen as well.
My lane was positioned by the ladies bathroom. Several times I watched ladies walk out of the ladies room shaking water off their hands all over the floor, walls and my table.
I went to the mens room to get papertowels to clean off my wet table, only to find the mens room floor completely soaked, leaking out into the hallway. I informed the waitress who seemed to be the only person working in sight. 20 minutes later I went back to the mens room and it was still in the same condition. I am confused. There are signs all over “be cautious of a wet floor” but yet there was no hop-to-it attitude. Everytime I looked over at the shoe counter there was staff socializing with each other and/or no one in site.
My advise to future patrons? Bring your own papertowels, mop and plan on self service.

I am pleased in bowling in Plainview. Billy is a great mananger in the snack bar and is so sweet. He is so much better than Jane the former manager who is arrogant and dirty. Jane always snaps at people and has an attitude.

There was an employee several years ago that had ordered her food around 5ish. Now if Plainview got 5 calls a night that was alot. Well this desk girl had a customer come up to the desk to tell her that the lane had a malfunction. Well this employee had a fit. She threw her Asian food right in the trash, she was like I can’t even eat. Imagine if she worked in a center that was trash?

PS- this place is NOT a hole.

I agree, Dave is the man. Nice to be able to give and receive feedback on the lanes with him. Thursday night men’s league is a challenge since the 2nd year after going synthetic. The shot rarely holds up for 2 games let alone 3. The high side of the house gives me fits (21-40). The approaches are always in good shape, the lanes ready to go.

Nice place to go to. A little old but not their fault. Managers are good and helpful along with the staff. Overall good place

If it was not for Dave Foy, this hole would have been closed a long time ago. Keep up the good work Dave.

This bowling center is the ideal place for people to come for a good time. The staff is very helpful, the lanes are always clean, well kept, and well oiled, the house balls are arranged in color-coded weight order, and the food at the snack bar is great! Highly Recommended.
