The previous poster is right about AMF, they stink and are WAY……. Over Priced.

This place stinks as do all AMF places, food over priced and bowling expensive.

Jessica, I don’t know about the online passes. I do know AMF however. The passes were probably to rope you in for winter. Join a league or bow at their regular HIGH prices. Compare their food prices to private alleys. They may even close 34th ave at any time like they did Van WYck in Jamaica in O8. Don’t trust AMF.

I visited this site before going to this bowling center n i must say no such thing that u all are saying i DID NOT experience me n my child both receive online passes where we can bowl for the entire summer FREE. Do u know any bowling centers that offer that???? The staff was great event thought we did not paid for our games since it was free online. And it was clean and very inviting.

A dump of an alley is right, AMF has hurt the Bowling Industry. They are moving AWAY from Leagues and more TO open play. AMF does not always mean Fun it means Failure.

What a dump

I agree this place like all the other Amf places I have been are over priced and dirty. AMF is not the place you want to go, try a privately owned alley.

Go to Jib Lanes. They are in the process of remodeling with new owners. Much nicer and won’t rape you with their prices!

Went there to bowl with some friends on Friday night. Place was filthy overpriced and nasty. All that is there is under aged drinkers and smelly old men playing cards. They need more security because of class of clientele they are attracting. Waste of time and money! Stay Away!

If you can help it, do not bowl here or in any other AMF owned center for that matter. This is the last one of AMF’s alleys that remain in Queens. At one time, they had Americana, Bellerose, & Van Wyck as well. We all know what they did to the folks at Van Wyck, they let Americana die as well. Why they closed Bellerose, I’ll never know. Everytime they close one of our centers down, they send out Merrell to do damage control, but we all know that he’s nothing but a two-faced backstabbing jerk. I’m not thrilled with Brunswick either, but at least they let their bowlers finish their season unlike the good people at Van Wyck. Don’t be surprised that in the near future you go by this place & see a fence around it as well. Do not trust these losers from AMF. They care nothing about you.

Mr. Roland Smith, did you ever work for AMF? The name sounds familiar. I heard some employees from Van Wyck talk of a higher up in AMF named Roland Smith, I believe. Maybe you can clue the people that read these sites about AMF. They really did a bad PR job with Van WYck’s League Bowlers, closing without warning. They are a classless corporation. Many Van Wyck bowlers are still hurting to this day, especially some seniors who now travel further to bowl. Some seniors don’t bowl at all now. Shame on you AMF. Thank you for correcting Mr. Bill Johnson on Goldman Sachs not owning AMF anymore. I have been saying this for some time now.

Mr. Johnson, Goldman Sachs gave up all interest in AMF holdings in 2003. Just to let you know.

to jase478,understand this, amf has of list of centers they’re closing.there’ll be notice when its time 2 close the doors.amf is getting out the leasing business.goldman sachs is the ones behind amf.amf will close their centers anyway they wish.thats why i never had a locker in any amf center in yrs.

I used to go to Van Wyck on Saturday’s, I might check out this place. I hope AMf don’t close this like they did Van Wyck. We went a few weeks ago on Sat. and saw a fence up. No warning man, nothing. What is AMF up to?

yes amf is out of their minds.remember goldman sachs group owns and runs i said they (gsg),dont understand, you keep pushing high prices, people are going to not come back.i worked 4 them in the time gsg jumped into the picture.of course they dont have a clue about customer service.amf has a lot of good stuff in storage that can be put to good use,but its too hard for them to want to use good new fresh equipment.i’m telling you amf is for the birds.

I used to like bowling, it is just too damn expensive. This alley has gone way too high in bowling and food. I agree with bowl 4 fun, amf seems to think everyone has deep pockets man.I just might call that number he gave. Somebody’s got to do something. There aren’t many alleys left. Is amf chasing people away? I hope not, but they seem to be doing a good job. I would never work for them,I know someone who used to though. What she went through wasn’t worth $7.00 an hour.

to everyone that bowls in lower ny state, prices are going to be high, due to being around ny city want decent prices,i’d recomend you go far as food prices being high,it’s like that everywhere, amf runs in the u.s.amf does have centers, with old equipment.yes, they have centers with brunswick pinsetters, far as the wages, amf doesn’t do too well in that dept.i knew a guy that had over 20t years industry experience,(mechanic)amf offered him that’s bad.amf does make their own pinsetters at richmond,va. they have lots of them, but they won’t put them in their own centers, and get rid of machines that have been around for years.remember, you get what you pay for.if anyone has any complaints, call 1-800-dial-amf,and let your voice(s)be heard.

I like bowlin, but cmon these prices are off the deep end. The food prices are enough to send me away. All the AMF alleys I’ve gone to recently seem to have high food prices. They need some sorta buck menu like other fast food joints. The bowlin is high also. Watch Out for your pocket -books.

Very expensive – I’d rather go to Jib Lanes. It’s in Flushing also.

Nice lanes but $6.00 to bowl, seems a little high. Should be $4.50 the highest.
