Went there last night (Saturday night) and well I really didn’t bowl but my friends did. They had nice disco lights.. The music was ok. But, I really loved the bar… they are not cheap with their alcholic beverages. They give u ur moneys worth..;) – I was a happy camper… Will be going back soon!

Melody lanes is ok. $7.75 a game on Friday/Saturday night is way too much. Service at the front counter was very slow. My lane was only ok. Nasty lady at the front counter barking at me to step off the chair while filming so I can get the best angle. Shell Lanes is cheaper and much better.

Went there on a Saturday night because some friends dragged me out. Kids were running all over the approaches, people getting the approach wet. The staff didn’t do anything to control these kids, neither did their parent. I asked for a little powder to dry my shoe and the woman at the desk asked me if I was looking to injure the other bowlers by leaving powder on the approach! WTF? Totally not worth it.

The lanes are fine & there is no problem throwing my bowling ball down the alley for a strike or a spare. And I told the person that runs Melody lanes that you got the nicest lanes around & I gave a big thank you to the male owner over there. I know that costs too much like $5.50 per game & I can deal with trying out the lane in Brooklyn, NY.

Melody lanes charges too much. 6 dollars a game is too much. The ball returns are always getting stuck. Management runs this place poorly just like the former Mark lanes. Other than that its seems ok for the few times I bowled there.

I think Melody Lanes is the best place on earth ! It has great employees who actually care about the place, and good food. The people behind the desk are amazing and are very welcoming. The bartender has no problem granting you your drink, and you will never have a warm drink unless you requst it. I find the place to be very clean and the employees are extrmeley curtius. They are always willing to help you with any questions you may have.

This place absolutely S*CKS. The nachos taste like cardboard, the soda has no pizzaz & the woman behind the snack bar can’t reach the ice. So you can expect your drinks to be about room temperature. But don’t try to better the situation by using the seemingly ancient “Snapple” machine – it’ll eat your money. No snapple, no water, no NOTHING. The only hope for ice depends on whether or not Jeremiah feels like helping out, since he can actually REACH it. Watching the two of these people curse at each other probably took the same amount of time it would have taken me to find a ladder and get the ice myself. Trying to get your credit card back is like trying to break out of prison with a plastic spoon – it just isn’t happening (at least until the inbred authorities say so). Having nothing to drink might actually be a good thing while you’re at Melody Lanes, because there isn’t any toilet paper in the bathrooms – I guess it, too, is “unreachable.” So unless the employees at Melody Lanes decide to join us in the real world, I would say it’s better to just avoid them at all costs. If you’re dying to bowl, sure…go to Melody… just DON’T LEAVE YOUR LANE.
