I have been bowling for 28 yrs, been in many bowling alleys, N.J-California-Georgia,etc. There has been many issues along the way in each and every alley. Cherry Hill Playdrome has been the “BEST” bowling alley I ever bowled and ate at. The employees do what they can to accomodate you. This place has to be the cleanest building that I have been to. The parking lot is Freakin’ huge! It’s in a well placed site. I have bowled here for 4 years. Never once did I complain about the building or lanes. I bowl on thursday nights and “LOVE” it! I don’t know the owner, but he is doing all the right moves! There is one employee that does stand out, her name is Pam and she gives her all when she works. She always greets me with a smile! So… all you who have given negative comments, I’m sorry to hear that, but this bowling alley for customer service, cleanliness, pro-shop, management, and lanes gets a 5 star rating!! Keep up the excellent work. Sincerely,
Robert Ledford

I love this place. I can’t comment on the manager as I don’t know who he/she is, and I have never had a problem with unprofessionalism or experienced profane language while I’ve been there. However, for the things that matter to me, this place is great. They have 36 lanes which are of very good quality (however I am not a pro) so it isn’t a problem to get a lane as long as a league isn’t running. Also, they have great specials. I got hooked on this place several years ago and would drive here from Philly just because of the deals. I would come and bowl for two and a half hours by myself on a lane and only end up paying $30 for 25 games. And now they have Thursday nights which are $5 cover, $.50 shoes/games. For me I just look for a place that I can bowl with good quality lanes and that won’t break the bank. Considering the two main options in Philly are North Bowl and Lucky Strike and it is hard to find ANY time of day/week where you won’t be paying at least $4.50 a game. Playdrome Cherry Hill has always been a good time for me.

You obviously never go at the right time, or never heard of a phone. Try calling the bowling alley….and if you dont have the number…here ya go… (856)429-0672. Next time call before you go so you dont get so disappointed in not being able to get a lane. Another thing is that you dont know the whole reason why woodcrest closed. so it wasnt a HUGE mistake.

it seems this place NEVER ever has open bowling time!!! the staff (on the phone that is) were real nice though. yes i know the no-smoking law took its toll on bowling allies, but i still strongly feel playdrome woodcrest made a HUGE mistake closing!!! instead of closing altogether i think they should’ve maybe pulled 10 lanes and put other attractins in place to compensate for the loss. sometimes less is more. for more on that , see my post under funplex.

Complaining about this place probably doesn’t matter to anyone. The manager lady was rude and yelling at the employees at the front. Don’t go here for a good experience cause your not going to get one. Thanks for moving my family in middle of a game to, so I could go to a lane that was broken then make us wait 15 minutes before it got fixed. No customer service at this bowling alley. Never going back here again.

This has to be one of the nicer bowling alleys in the cherry hill area. League bowling is awesome, the lane conditions are always great, of course you are going to get the days where they arent incredible but if you are throwing plastic, then you dont know how to bowl or you dont know how to adjust. Also the manager is never nasty to anyone. It ceases to amaze me that people can be ignoratn enough to write that about someone so nice. I always get a lane even if I must wait. Also that night when that fat bald guy yelling accross the counter was rude and he is the most ignorant person then anyone in that entire place. Also back to that lane condition guy, honestly isnt bowling about being challenged and having to adjust. Doesnt matter, im not a family member saying this either. I am a loyal customer of Playdrome Cherry Hill. They are nice to me and I am nice to them.

I love this place. I go bowling every saturday with my family. It is great. The new menu is awesome!! The price is a little expensive, but it is well worth the little extra you pay for a clean, state of the art, entertainment facility.

breakers is nice to play pool. they have some really good deals on weekdays and bowling is good too. we have fun even if we have to wait for a lane.

The lack of management of this place is unbeleiveable. The security people are rude especially the fat bald guy. Not sure if his cursing or his smell were worse. Even worse the guy cursing across the counter at the employees. Hey, I thought this was a family place what’s your problem? Not sure if he worked there or not, everyone else had work shirts on. He looked like he should be changing the oil in somone’s car then working in a bowling alley. He was very rude and my kids don’t need to hear him yelling the f word! This place is horrible and I will never take my kids or friends there ever! THIS IS YOUR WARNING THIS PLACE IS BAD FOR FAMILIES. TOO MUCH CURSING AND RUDENESS! Asked for a manager they said she only works during the day. Not suprising she should be fired, she obviously has no clue how to manage people or a bowling alley!

THe person who said the manager was nice HAD to be a relative!! I agree with the person who said she was rude and I’ll never go back because of her. There was also a younger employee, kinda chunky, long hair who was actually cursing behind the counter! The F word no less! The owner needs to hire some professional type help!! NOW!!!

You know this place is amazing you have 2 teams that are tied for first place bowling for first place on position round and the center gets the bright idea to try a new shot/machine only on lanes 1 and 2, go figure. Why not do it on another pair. Things here never cease to amaze me. Lane 1 was hooking so much you had to throw plastic on it, which was hooking, and lane 2 was beautiful. so much for consistency. We did win but thats not the point. wont be bowling a league there again thats for sure.

Bad lane conditions?!?!?! Are you crazy?? The house has the most high games in south jersey. As for the lane problems, every center has it’s bad days. Normally the machines run great. Jon, the owner, put lots of money into the machines and the building. Perhaps you had one bad visit.

This place is horrible when it comes to lane conditions, and the amount of machine malfunctions.

This center is awesome! Great place to bowl and the staff is great! The manager especially is awesome. Whomever had a bad experience with the manager probably was very ignorant and rude to the manager!

Playdrome on Kings hwy, Cherry Hill is kind of disorganized. And the manager (old woman in her 60s) is shockingly rude and mean.
