Hey im bowling a tournament here on saturday …. i was jw what the house shot has been like lately.. tight.. even…heavy volume?

Every house has issues. I like the lanes and they always have oil. They put out a good shot but pin deflection could be better. Air condition stinks in the summer. Price for games are reasonable. Lanes are clean and a good place to bowl. The bowlers (locals) are jerks but i reccomend this house to better ones game.

Way too hot….gets very unconfortable while your bowling….after every few games ball has to be cleaned with a rag soaked with alcohol….music should not be played at the volume they play it while a sanctioned league is in session

They seem to cater only to league bowlers.
If you want to have fun and have people apreciate your business, go to another bowling alley – we do.

I think that the lady, Robin, that works behind the desk a lot is extremely mean. she is always giving customers attitudes. i bowl at howell every single day and i love it but i just dislike robin very much and the music that she plays. i go every tuesday night after 9 because it is $1.00 games. she plays oldies music like ‘why do fools fall in love’ and nothing up to date or even from the 90’s. she plays music that she likes and not what the customers like. she doesnt have to play {deleted} music like rap or something. but maybe a little bon jovi or something would be really nice. and crystal that works there is extremely nice. Annie and Chris that work in the CornerPin snack bar, are extremely nice too.
Oh and ANdrew Bohn (Parker Bohn III’s nephew) is there all the time and he helps me bowl and it really helped me bring up my average. =]<3

umm i love the place very funn, but way to much smoking and old ppl on sat. night, and the music s*cks, not saying they should like rap or anything but dont you think the hustle is taking it a lil too far?? haha but overall needs from fixture but pretty funny=]]

Great staff, Pro shop owner OJ is best in the industry, I would never get a bowling ball drilled anywhere else. The corner pin cafe’ offers some really good specials. They have 3 pool tables in the bar, if you want other activities beside bowling. The price to bowl is reasonable and the lanes are always in good condition. I recently met with the owner and he is a very personable guy who makes his guests feel like family.

I love this place. I haven’t been there since I moved away but I have gone there since I was little.

Love the place, my daughter has been bowling there since she was 5 and as a freshman just made
the varsity bowling team. There is no smoking allowed while the children leagues are in session. Way to go. (and I’m a smoker)

Howell lanes needs to fix their air conditioning. I spend $3000 plus a year to bowl every Saturday night with my wife, and you’d think the owner would make it nice and cool for his good customers. Yet it does not happen, get on the ball and fix the Air. Or we’ll have to go else where to bowl.

Congrats to Manu Velez for banging out an 856 at strathmore.

Way too much smoking!! It is nice being able to bowl in the same place Parker grew up, but there is way too much smoke in that place. A bowling center is a kid’s place, and by people smoking so much, you are hurting the kids. Also, weekend prices are too high as well.

A great family place to bowl – friendly atmosphere and accomodating staff.

I just didn’t like how there was no food. All they sold was beer. That doesn’t fly right. I’m too young to drink beer. I need a date really badly though and it’s my birthday, so someone please email me and ask me out!
