A great friend bought me a ball from merrimack. i used the ball 3 weeks and it came up ball return smashed. I called Christy (the manager who sold the ball) she told me shed get back to me with the date of purchase so it can be return cuz its a defected ball. I called her twice in a week. she complained to a friend..i called at wrong time. Did we know there was a wrong time to call alley when u have a smashed ball and league 4 days away???? Needless to say. IM VERY DISCUSTED she never returned my calls. So heads up all you great bowling fans!!! I brought my ball to Lowell alley. Explained what happend and how I was treated. Lowell took my ball . sent it back (next day) and let me pick out a new ball of my choice an drilled it for free! I recieved a much better quality ball an got 3lbs heavier. NOW THAT IS HOW A BOWLING ALLEY TREATS CUSTOMERS!
GO TO LOWELL WHERE you will be treated like a person and they appreciate your business.

I miss bowling at this house. I move to OK but while bowling at Merrimack ten pin I loved it I always took avantage of the all you can bowl I was on three leagues there and the people are great the lanes are spotless a very great place to have fun at if you like to bowl and do pool Thanks for the great time while living there in NH Debbie

Anyone who knocks this place has rocks for brains. The place is obviously first class. Food is good and the people who run it are gracious. Kudos to Kristy, Crystal, Jan and the rest of the crew… make bowling there a pleasure. Thanks so much!

Watch out for their rates. No prices are posted and some specials only apply when you confirm the special and prepay! Played during the Sunday afternoon $12 special and got charged full price because we didnt tell them we were there for the special and prepay. You have to manage their charges.

Bring my kids here all the time. Excellent specials and food. Disagree with C McGowan, Raymond is definately not worth the drive, MTP is more modern, family oriented, friendlier staff and, from what I hear, they are adding a new state of the art entertainment package. Keep up the good work!

Comment Date: 10/16/2010 Name: Regular Friday Bowler
I disagree with C McGowan. I bowl here EVERY Friday night, food is awesome, excellent place to bowl. Perhaps if C McGowan wants to drive 40 miles each way to bowl in the ghetto of NH to save a few bucks, let him go, one less to wait for in line here 🙂

Comment Date: 9/28/2010 Name: C McGowan
Very, very expensive. It’s worth the ride to Raymond’s bowling center instead. The food is very expensive and lousy. The cost for a game of open bowling is way to expensive. Save your money or look for a deal at another bowling center.

never been here….is it good? what is the age recommendation?

Comment Date: 8/11/2010 Name: L and S
A truely family oriented facility. Very well lighted, wonderfully maintained lanes, great staff and management, very good pro-shop, great snack bar. Prices are lower than we are used to in upstate VT and NY, and facilities 3X better.
Day bowling is great for anyone retired and looking to just chill out for FUN!!!
Kudos to all of the stall there.

How much does it cost for shoes?

Comment Date: 3/23/2010 Name: Sean Streets
My buddy and I go every Monday afternoon for beers and bowling. You can’t beat three games and shoes for $11. Place is always clean, and the staff is always friendly to us. Highly recomend giving MTP a shot!

how much is it to bowl at merrimack ten pin per person?

Comment Date: 11/22/2009 Name: Little Ms. Pink
Im just wondering when the glow bowling is and how much it costs. If someone could please tell me, that would be great! Thanks!

If you’re talking about the owner, Crystal, I totally agree!

Comment Date: 9/16/2009 Name: anonymous
the sexy brunette has a nice a** and is very polite

I’ve only been there once, but it was pretty nice. The bowling was fun, but pricey. Pool is quite affordable, which kind of makes up for the bowling – and the tables are nice. The guy who was working at the front was very nice and people were pretty mellow. I definitely plan on going again.

Comment Date: 8/29/2009 Name: Anonymous
I had a party there and overwell went pretty well. The staff was very friendly, and they had reasonable prices. Reguardless, a few of the kids got sick after eating the pizza. But other than that, everything went great. Everyone had a blast! 🙂

Comment Date: 8/20/2009 Name: happyface
I recently had a family function there and it was the best I’ve ever had. The food was great and (just to clarify they do cook all the food fresh to order). They even did a buffet for us with mini crab cakes, cocktail meatballs, mini sandwiches, and lots of other yummy treats. The prices were very reasonable, the building extremely clean and what a friendly staff. A definite A+!!!!!!

Comment Date: 3/5/2009 Name: bilbo baggins
can somebody plz tell me the hors and prices for a saturday?

Comment Date: 3/3/2009 Name: tinasita
the only complaint i have is that they are to lazy to serve food in the morning, until 12 in the afternoon on a weekend!!! and their pizza is ordered from the outside (meaning they dont make it!) causing the pizza to get cold and crusty..yuck…and i agree with the comments on the old lady, she is not that pleasant…but i do love bowling there, i love the beer and the place

Comment Date: 2/5/2009 Name: random
The place is very clean and the lanes are nice. Only problem is the price for a bowler that is into it go by the hour and it is only 10 dollars better than bowling two games for 8.

Comment Date: 12/28/2008 Name: SpongeBob
Go bowl at Leda Light House! Its far better! The staff is amazing! Its cheap! And it is clean! And the fast food is quite delicious! Unlike Merrimack Ten Pin! 🙂

I go there for Cosmic Bowling EVERY is usually packed but they stay open past 1. I get along great with the staff, Best place to Bowl in my opinion!!

Comment Date: 9/1/2008 Name: Anonymous
The management is just horrible. The workers are not friendly at all! The prices keep going up but not the service. The manager is absolutely the worse!

Comment Date: 8/29/2008 Name: Return Customer
This is why this site is a joke. I love bowling here but, when an individual like Madrox can make such an imature statement, it gives the impression that the center did something wrong. You throw a chair and you wonder why you are thrown out? Kudos to MTP for calling the cops to control this behavior!!

Comment Date: 8/26/2008 Name: Puzzled
Madrox…you throw a chair and wonder why they call the cops?????? Think before post

Comment Date: 8/17/2008 Name: Madrox
That place s*cks. The people who work there are very unfriendly. and that crabby lady calls the cops on everyone every week for no reason. she is ridiculous. i threw a chair because she was being a bitch. then i told her off. she needs to not be such a bitch and stop driving people away. I applogize for my language if anyone is offended

the bowling is nice here, i like it. and cosmic or glow bowling is every friday from 9 PM to midnight. the old lady hates life. hahahaha.

Comment Date: 3/28/2008 Name: miguel sanchez
the place is nice….the people that work there are always grumpy and unfriendly…..especially the old lady that is sarcastic and hates life

Comment Date: 2/2/2008 Name: Nathan
Says in the info that its 24 hours. Is that true? And when is cosmic bowling?

Comment Date: 10/2/2007 Name: tagg
i really like this place actually, sure they kill you on some prices but its clean! (aka smoke free!) they keep the shoes and balls in good condition and i have a good time there. there’s my speel

Comment Date: 9/27/2007 Name: Bowler4Ever
Modern…elegant…cheap…amazing place to bowl!

Comment Date: 5/16/2007 Name: Anonymous
I will say that the place has gone downhill in recent years, or maybe that’s because I’m comparing it to another local center, who has a huge nack for everything being extremely clean.
My biggest problem in Merrimack is that the approaches always seem to have dirt or something else on them, even though it’s typically not sticky.

Comment Date: 3/22/2007 Name: Jessica
this place is amazing my younger brother had a birthday party there and it was a blast. the food is quite expensive i know but everyone chill out i mean it’s a bowling alley what do you want them to charge you 2 bucks or something? yeah that would be nice but think about what they need to get to make it and how much that must cost them and if you don’t like the price then don’t buy any everyone stop being babies. and oh yeah chuck norris (we all know it’s not really you) but who cares if you found a hair in your bowling ball OH MY GOSH!! this is a public place and gum in your shoes little annoying teenage kids go there to and they probably put it in there as a joke it’s not the bowling alleys fault. this is a really great bowling place to go to it’s much better than the older one that use to be down the street.

Comment Date: 2/24/2007 Name: Michael
Great place, love the facility, I wish it was smoke free though. A new building with smokers in the arcade area where kids are is not good. Smokers are killers and normal people should not have to breathe that in. But we love the place.

Comment Date: 2/21/2007 Name: Michael
Went there for Glow was packed but they stayed open past 1. Very nice staff, had a great time!!

Comment Date: 2/19/2007 Name: birthday parents
I was completely satisfied having my child’s birthday party at Merrimack Ten Pin. I must admit I was a little hesitant after reading some of the comments, but my son definitely wanted a bowling party so I called and booked one.
Everyone was extremely pleasant and attentive. The atmosphere was upbeat and bright, the music was nicely chosen and the pizza we will order again for take out(it was that good!)
Can’t say enough about the place!!!!Be back again soon.

Comment Date: 1/7/2007 Name: Dan
Been in a few times and always had fun. While the food’s a little expensive, it’s way cheaper (and better) than at the movies. Glow bowling’s a blast, though it can be real busy. I don’t bowl all that often, but I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the staff.

Sorry to hear that chuck……the size 8 shoe that is. Poor “little” guy. Do girls say “its okay”? Well, they are lying to you because size really does matter. Just ask the owners !!!
When Milford opens you can go bowl there.

Comment Date: 12/22/2006 Name: Chuck Norris
This place s*cks a**! i found hair in my bowling ball. I found gum in my shoes, and they were 3 sizes too small.
Thank You
ps. Im a size 8 (in mens)

Comment Date: 12/16/2006 Name: Very sucessful young man
The center is nice, used to bowl leagues in the old center. The owner and her niece are nice people but like to control and manipulate. I am welcome to bowl and spend my hard earned money there as long as I do what they say. The world according to them. Well, I choose not to live in that world. Being a very successful young man, maybe someday I’ll buy the place and turn into another gentleman’s club where other very successful young men can be truely entertained.

Comment Date: 12/12/2006 Name: PBA Rookie
This place is good for more than nothing expect banging your head on the floor. I am a very competative bowler and when i go to a bowling center i at least expect decent rates for league bowlers and/or a decent shot to be put out for bowlers to experience decent games and actually have a good time. I would honestly set up ten pins in the parking spaces outside and go grab food at the seafood resturant next door than bowl in this place. I am disgusted none the less. You should have just closed instead of moved to another location. Wait i take that back, now i know about Newicks. Thanks MTP!

Wow, I mean Wow!!! This is the best place EVA!!! Like I went to the bowling ally and was shocked…. As I opened the door and angelic voice called out to me… “This is the place to bowl!” Definatly give this palce a shot.

Comment Date: 11/28/2006 Name: Alicia and Rob
Center is extremly bright and clean… That’s it.. Great well know sea food restaurant next door. If you want to eat do it after or before you bowl it is truly the best place to eat and believe it or not better food and much less expensive. Unless you can afford an $ 7. hamburger only! Staff, with the exception of Brad need lessons in courtesy to the customer. Crystal the owner only wants money. She is not a bowler. Open bowlers, are treated better and given priority over league bowlers…… Who they get more money out of seems to be the name of the game…. For years league bowlers paid the bills…(guarenteed fee’s) now we get the shaft. FYI there is another center in Manchester, Stadium and its much more people friendly, reasonable, food is good, lanes are good and you don’t feel your not good enough for the place….. Boycot Merrimack….Try Manchester or the rumored new center in Milford soon to open.

Comment Date: 11/13/2006 Name: Charlie Bazdanes
This place is awful. Stay away. The owner is horrendous and they charge you up the wazoo. They have no interest in the fact that you have a budget. Thier employees are greak workers Jan and Brad that is. The owners niece is terrible. She hunts you down for more money and singe when does chicken and french fries cost 8 dollars ??
This is a bowling alley not a gourmet restaurance
STAY AWAY !!!!!!
STAY AWAY !!!!!!
STAY AWAY !!!!!!
I only bowl there for my league, I try not to spend a nickel there other than league bowling.

I’ve never enjoyed myself more!!! I mean I don’t get out too often because I have few friends but I found the staff to be quite friendly. In fact I consider them to be more like a family, ya know? The lanes are in good shape and I always find everything I’m looking for in the pro-shop. Overall great place for a super time. Kudos!!!

Comment Date: 9/28/2006 Name: Lee
I had my child’s birthday party there and it was extremely expensive. They give you one pizza for 7 kids and make it very costly to get any extras. There was no service for us, we did it all on our own, yet we are suppose to tip the help. Our lane kept breaking down and because they overbooked, our bowling time was cut short. I will never have another party there and encourage other’s not to either. My children love bowling but I am in search for another less expensive place like Leda Lanes in Nashua.

Well i went with my family, great bowling, but the glow in the dark alley we had didnt work, and they neglected to change us and didnt care. overall niceness:2 employee:0

Comment Date: 4/8/2006 Name: Anonymous
This is a nice place. Friday nights from 9 to midnight there is glow bowling. The price isnt bad either. Its like 11 bucks for two games.

Comment Date: 3/10/2006 Name: scott allerheiligen
We could not have had a WORSE experience. My 7-yr old and I waited over an hour after checking in we got so fed up we left. The girl at the counter (the owner’s niece) could not have been more callous or indifferent. We saw more than 20 people pass us for lanes and after 3 attempts checking in with the counter girl we left. I will never return and tell the same to as many people as possible. It ruined my 1st grader’s night. If anyone knows how to reach the owner, Crystal Glover, tell her to call me. {Phone number deleted}

During the cold winter months without golf there is no better place to be. A great place to bring the family together. All the folks there treat you great. Brad and Jan especially, have made our times there special.

Comment Date: 12/1/2005 Name: Andy J
I’ve been bowling here for what, 2 years now. I love it. We do glow bowling, and of course I’m there Mondays or Wednesdays playing 4 or 5 games on my own. The lanes are usually consistant. They are a slightly higher oil level than I prefer, but I adjusted to it. Pricing isn’t that bad. It can get expensive when you’re glow bowling, but other than that it’s pretty good.

Comment Date: 11/2/2005 Name: mid western bowler transplant
Very bright and clean. Very pricey both in league and open bowling. Seafood place next door a better bet and more reasonable to eat. Lanes ok.

Comment Date: 10/31/2005 Name: janet
Moving to area November 1, 2005. Would love to find a handicap league that could use a bowler.

Comment Date: 9/14/2005 Name: Anonymous
Very clean!!!!!!!! Lots of entertainment for the kids. Great game room but a bit pricey.
Location is a little tough for anyone traveling, no easy route from surrounding communities. Lanes are reasonably consistent.
Food is pretty good, but extremly prices…. bring the kids, but feed them first.

I think that Merrimack Ten Pin Bowling Center is a great place to have family fun as well as spend time with friends. I recently did the Glow Bowling on Friday night with a bunch of friends (we’re all in high school)and we had a blast. I think its great. The prices are affordable, the food is good, the atmosphere is fun, and the other games are also a plus. I recommend Merrimack Ten Pin Bowling Center for anybody and EVERYBODY!
