I stopped in the center the other day just to look around,as I had heard it was under new management. The place needs money and that is the bottom line. New management will not turn the place around unless they have money to improve the place. Bowlers pay the bills and bowlers are not going to bowl on what is there. The lanes need to be completely stripped out and new ones put in,preferably synthetic for lifetime:not synthetic overlays. I mean completely new lanes. The pinspotters need extensive work to keep up with the demands of day in and day out use. There are many options in that area new or remanufactured in all types. The scoring system and monitors need to be upgraded too. Basically gut it out and start from scratch, that is if the building itself is structurly sound. Also, instead of the pool hall just add 4 to 8 more lanes. You could possibly have a pool table or two. These are only my thoughts and I am not bashing the new managment, just stating the obvious observations that I made. I really don’t see how these lanes could be USBC certified. They are in awful shape, the foul line is missing on one of the lanes and the overlay is peeling and coming off on all the lanes. People who know bowling need to take this place and make it a “HOTSPOT” once again.

I would like to say first that yes what i have read in the comments alot of those things are true, but and I strongly say that things have been changing and better things have been going on in the center. They have been some personel changes. Thats where it all starts. They are a couple of guys there that are trying their hardest to make things happen, all they need is some time and some support. Once you have a reputation that this place has been givin, its hard to change that to something bette, but I truely believe that these guys are trying to turn things around and make things better for everyone, and yes the comment was made that the bar attracts “trashy people”,now i ask you how many places do you go to that has a bar and you see nothing but the “most outstanding citizens’? This is a place of busniess, and you cant turn just anyone down because of what they are. If the people in those comments didnt say anything to the staff at that point in time, how about calling or coming by the center and talk to these guys, Jason,Jake,or Josh, they are the ones that are trying to make a difference in the center, because they care about the place if you think it or not. Dont judge the place from the past go see it for youself, you might be suprised.

this house is a sad situation can’t believe shane has let is come to this. we use to bowl there all the time and loved it. to bad elwood isn’t around to still own and operate at least it was alot better then. shane is loosing and has lost a lot of money not taking care of this place. he thinks that just the booze and pool will keep everyone happy but he sill find out this will not work. he use to have good bowlers there like john may, steve jones, scott mckown, adrian brewer jr., and so on. now these bowlers and many other good bowlers that bowled there will not even look at htis disgrace while driving by. this is so sad, shane i hope you come to realize what you have created and not created. your lanes have not been touched in years, and i guess you are not going to do anything about them. if you are going to run a bowling center then make it one if not just call it a beer drinking trouble making pool shooting place that no one but trash wants to associate with.

This has got to be the biggest waste of my time and money!!! When I went to order my drinks it took the server about 15 minutes to acknowledge that I was even standing there, and then it took him another 5 minutes to make two cokes, and one of them had no ice. Then when I got back to my lane to bowl, every other ball got stuck in the return and we had to wait about 5 more minutes to get the front counter to do something about it. That would not have been so bad if it had only happened once or twice, but it happened at least 20-30 times in less than 2 hours. And to think that I paid 12 U.S. dollars to bowl and could only get 1 ball down the lane every 5 minutes or so. Then when I went to the bar the server stood around and talked to his buddies and asked someone else to help me after I stood there for quite some time. And further more when I ordered a Beer They did NOT even ask for Identification to verify my age, and I know that I do not look over 21. The lanes are so shot and need to be redone, for example, the lane I was on, #1, had a major left curve. The house balls are all cracked and chipped that you have no real control over where it goes so you have to adjust your style every time that you approach the lane. As for the moonlight bowling the staff at the counter is supposed to keep an eye out for special pins and splits so that prizes can be awarded, which is well worth the cost only if the staff is actually doing their job. I know that there are 20-24 lanes at this facility but they only paid attention to the ones that their friends were on. And as for paying attention to what is going on at their so called job they are standing behind the counter watching the baketball game and announcing the scores over the loud speaker. So finally I would like to say that this is by far the worst place I have ever been, and well I have been to some very bad places in my life, I would give this bowling alley a one-quarter star in every aspect and thats actually giving them too much credit. Don’t waste your time and money going here find yourself something else to spend your hard earned money on. Thank you from a very dissatisfied customer.

The service we recieved on March 4th at Lincolnton Bowling Center was Horrible! The lanes are, curved and dented. During Moonlight bowling the staff pay very little attention (talking to other staff members, leaving the front desk, and announcing sports scores.) to the lanes so many people miss out on prizes, also, the ball return kept messing up, it would not return the balls over 12 times, (it would keep them 3 at a time.) Then the pinsetter put up pins, then knocked them down, at least 7 times. When asked staff for help he said hit reset. (We had did that twice anyway.) then when asked again, he said there was nothing he could do. Personally, I would not reccomend this bowling alley to anyone, unless they change these things.

Hey, you need better lanes. They are worn out, you can’t even get a good curve ball on the lanes there. You can even see the bad wood makering in the wood. But my dad is a very good bowler. His name is David Keever. He can make anything move on the lanes. That’s why they call him the killer. Because that’s why they call him the killer. The lanes just fixing. So please fix up the lanes. You might get some business.
