Staff is friendly, considering how busy they are.
Own my own shoes, 10 games for 10 is unbeatable!
Pizza is well priced, but tastes gross.
Vending machines are unreliable at times.
Have been given free bowling coupons before!!!
Lanes have permanently scared my bowling ball 🙁
Almost always have lanes open.

Just had a High School match here. This place is a joke.Lanes kept breaking down.Staff was rude. The lanes are raised up 3 feet so the spectators cant see.scoring computers wouldnt work.A TOTAL JOKE!!!!!!!!

The Premier complex in general is great, you’ve got the bowling alley in one room and the bar/resturant right next door. Dollar tuesdays can be hectic, but its deff. worth it. I feel much safer now due to their increased security. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!

This bowling alley is horrible. Our lanes kept breaking down, the floor was ALL sticky and ruined our bowling shoes, the bathroom was filthy, and to top it off my husbands ball got ruined in their machine. I will never go back and dont recomend this bowling alley to anyone!!!

I was there last night. Cosmic bowling had the red wings on the big screen. i bowled 7 w/ shoes for 8$. cant beat that. i got a big basket of fries for $3.50 and enjoyed them with my $3 monster. for a night of entertainment with friends for $13.50. can not be beat. Ill go there next tuesday and spend another 13.50 and be there for 5-6 hours.

Just had my daughter’s birthday party there and everything was great. The staff was wonderful and very helpful from the bowling to the food. The girls all had a great time, I would do this again.

I think the owners, bartenders, waitresses, cashier and maintance workers are awsome and kind. I like the bowling alley yes their flaws like in any business, but over all it is great place to hang out

Comment Date: 10/27/2011 Name: Dave
Ever since this place opened I have been disappointed! The place is a dump!!!! I went there when they opened it and hated it!!! The only thing that seems to be right in there is the pinsetters. No oil on the lanes at all. My kid likes it because of the bumpers and he can hit more pins. Didn’t really have much of a choice out here between this dump and Salt River! I should have realized the owners are the same people that owned Liberty Bowl. Now it makes sense. That place was a nightmare too! I tried Salt River again. At least one of the bowling alleys is doing something about the problem. 100 times better! That is where I am staying!

Comment Date: 4/21/2011 Name: Anonymous
We’ve been to this bowling alley many times. However, we don’t go there much anymore. Here’s why. First of all, the staff is VERY rude! One time we called them and asked what movies were playing, and they just said “Garfield”. We asked which one and they said “The second one, duh!”. I’ve also heard that they swore at kids one time. They have GOT to train their staff better. Second, the movie theater there is now a concert theater. Now look, I understand that the MJR nearby is bigger and better and the screen had a crack in it (which they could have just fixed), but it was the only bowling alley I knew with a theater in it, and I thought it made it unique! Lastly, the prices are ridiculous! Anyway, go to Salt River Lanes instead. They’re a LOT better!

Comment Date: 12/29/2010 Name: Josh
Are you allowed to chew tobbacoo in the alley???

Comment Date: 12/25/2010 Name: bowler
Wow some people just make stuff up ! Like bowling on tuesdays is only $1 for the passed 10 years .. I’ve never had a problem with any of the staff and have watched them deal with some of the rudest people on the planet! And still make them happy even tho the customer’s are wrong ! Its been a great place to bowl.. They offer so much you could spend all day there , if you think its too pricey u need to get out more the drinks are some of the cheapest in town and the pizza is better than anything around.. I think the people that write a bad review for permier are there competition allys or the people who have been rude to the staff and there for were treated with the same respect

Comment Date: 9/28/2010 Name: WOW
2 DOLLAR BOWLING? It was 1 dollar for the past 10 years. If it is 2 dollars, than this place is way over priced. Ridges in lanes where you throw your ball, so you better have a lane where the previous people knew how to bowl but since you’re at Premier, odds are, it was a young child and your ball will fall towards the gutter. Tuesday must be white boy wannabe gangster night because that’s the only people that are in there.

Comment Date: 9/3/2010 Name: MrCyanide
This place really needs to learn how to hire staff that acts more cordially to their customers. Every time I go there, I have to wait for the people behind the counter to finish their conversation, and even then they keep going on and on as they lazily “help” me. I’d much rather stay home and play Wii Bowling, then waste the gas, money, and time to go to a bowling alley that I don’t even like in the first place.

Comment Date: 9/1/2010 Name: MusicLover [:
Due to the no smokin law now i thnk the bowling ally is nice, i havent bowled there before but i have been attending the concerts they have every friday and i simply love going its a great atmosphere for me and my friends to watch uprising bands play [[:

I have never had an issue there… I seriously don’t know how you guys have so many compaints.. Furthermore, Tuesday is 2 dollor night, which means 2 for shoes and 2 per game… It’s been that way for as long as I can remember…

It’s a ok place. You people complaing are mostly kid who have been kicked out of the place. How nice of a place do you expect it to be with all of you teenagers destroying the place? maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if you had a little respect!!!

Comment Date: 4/13/2010 Name: nuya bizness
i seem to go there alot but only cause its cloose to my house but the staff is very rude and dispectfull. also tuesdays used to b a dollar bowl now u have to pay 5 to get in and use tickets wtf thats there way of maken money cause you never use all the tickets. they need to go back to dollar bowling and fire some of there staff!!!!!

Honestly I think this place is bad, all thought I do go there ocasionally on tuesday nights…. everyone is ricgh, the employes are 1st class douche bags, very rude… I have had to hold myself back more then a few times, from wanting to beat them down…. the place is filthy like there employes… a bunch of no class losers…. but thats just my opinion

Comment Date: 4/5/2010 Name: Anonymous
Hopefully with the change – no smoking in public areas come May 2010 Premier may be a little better. Unfortunately the cleanliness and rude staff will also have to change to bring me back there. I will gladly go down the road to Salt River and pay their price per game and shoes – well worth the few extra dollars overall.

Comment Date: 4/3/2010 Name: Sammie
I go on Friday’s to watch the all ages shows and to be honest I love it there.. I always have fun and all it is a a hang out place for teens.. It’s not really a play for kids 12 or under though. But if u dont like it then dont go.

Comment Date: 3/29/2010 Name: jamie
i was going to have my sons 5th birthday party there and couldnt afford the price. $12 a kid for 2 games and a piece of pizza was WAY to much. plus when i called the girl that answered the phone was very rude so i went to salt river lanes where the staff was great. for $130 i got 60 slices of pizza, shoes for everyone, refilled pop and 3 lanes with 18 people bowling for an hour. the stuff always checked in with me if i needed anything and let us sit on the lanes for 3 hours to have pizza, cake and open our gifts. they opened the bar for our smoking guest. it was great!!! premier lanes was WAY to much money for me

Comment Date: 3/15/2010 Name: Brad
I frequent this alley mainly because of the $1.00 Tuesdays. i will admit a lot needs fixing, but for the price you cant go wrong, the lanes seem to be dry-medium oil, which is great for my Columbia 300 Freeze ball. although its not the best alley i’ve been to, i still like it on Tuesdays for the $1.00 games

Comment Date: 1/18/2010 Name: Britany
yeahh, i found a hair in my drink one time from here. so i don’t prefer buying food from here. just saying.

Comment Date: 12/1/2009 Name: Concerned Parent
The price is right, but the atmosphere is wrong for anyone taking kids bowling. I have two kids (8&12) and will no longer take them here on Tuesdays. Dollar night equals TONS of teenagers hanging out, smoking, being obnoxiously loud to attract attention, and cluttering the aisles so much that it takes 10 times longer to get where you are going. The food is okay, and priced right. It is always understaffed, and I’m guessing this is partly the reason why they act like they are doing you a favor for talking to you. It’s a shame that management doesn’t address the issues that most commenters are stating on this site. I would love nothing more than to be able to treat my kids to a night of reasonable bowling, but can’t due to mismanagement. Here’s hoping!

yor {deleted} then cause i have asmtha and when there is more then 2 groups smoking im fine and i have severe asthma so yeah and i love bowling there

Comment Date: 10/27/2009 Name: Anonymous
This is a very DIRTY place. I have asthma and had to use my inhaler while there, even though there was only 2 groups smoking in the middle of the morning. Which means the ventilation is horrible! I am sure the teens love being at a place that they can run free! Employees are rude and act like you are bothering them when you go in to bowl! Not good when your wages are paid by the people that patronize your business!

Comment Date: 8/11/2009 Name: very dissappointed bower
Premier Lanes used to be “THE PLACE” to bowl. Its been a year since I’ve been here and went Tuesday to take advantage of $1 Tuesday. Upon arrival I found they have NO A/C and its 90 degrees outside. Paid $6 and some change for 4 chicken strips that were over cooked. The entire place was completely dirty. The lane machine, I couldn’t even start my own game or put my name in because it didn’t work properly. I paid for 2 games and only bowled one and asked for a refund because it was 100 + degrees in there and they told me sorry no refund. They COULDN’T REFUND ME A {deleted} DOLLAR!!!! The owner was standing behind the counter and all he said was have a nice day and the old {deleted} behind the counter was just that a {deleted}!!! I will never bowl at this {deleted} again and will gladly take my business elsewhere.

I used to work here and our customers were usually very satisfied and the place filled up every weekend. I went in earlier this week and it was empty. The games in the arcade were turned off, the lanes were turned off, and I don’t even think the vending machines were on. Frank, give me a call and I’ll bring your customers back :).

Comment Date: 4/10/2009 Name: Bobo
Ok guys. Michigan’s economy is tight. You know that I know that. Most people Cannot afford to fix the problems. we need high prices. I work there and the light bill alone every month is $10,000. Ok so think twice. If u dont like it whatever. Don’t go there.

Comment Date: 3/12/2009 Name: Rachel
Obviously by the spelling of all of these comments the cliental is uneducated, thug kids. Tuesdays are the worst, with people just bummin’ around where ever they can sit, and eating greasy pizza and chain smoking, stumbling around looking for the uncleaned bathrooms. The staff is rude, the costumers are trashy, it’s not about having a nice experience, it’s about the money.

I agree,,that yes there are some downers to premier. But for us teens, we have an amazing time. We have freedom here. We can just hang out, and not get in trouble for soliciting. Security takes care of the ones who cant control them selves,,and smoke under age. Yes its a bit smokey,,but what do you expect its a bowling alley. I like premier,,and honestly believe its a place where teens can just be teens and hang out with there friends.

Comment Date: 2/17/2009 Name: Anna
I just went here last week…and it s*cked. There were NO balls to choose from. The one i was using was cracked. The floor or shoes were so slippery that i could barely even stand to try and throw a ball. I had to like tip toe to the edge. But i guess you shouldn’t expect much when you pay $1 a game and for shoes. Oh, and our table was covered in beer and ranch dressing.

I loveeee this place!!! It’s SUCH a fun time to hang out with your friends and watch bands play. I’m obsessed. I go there every saturday. The bands are awesome and it’s a real good time. Like someone said: it’s kind of a place for teens and 40+. The security is really tight and the staff is poliet. I think the people who said bad things have a stick up THEIR a**. Let it go! Have some fun! You were a kid once!! :]

i went to premier last night. heres what i think
security was taken seriously
good chicken strips
teens get freedom
GREAT bands playing
underage smoking and drinking
staff is rude
dirty & smokey
service is very slow
as a teen myself i loved it. everyone is laid back and there isnt anyone breathing down your neck as usual.
but seriously if you have young kids, just remember that they could look around at any moment and think the people around them are acting how they should act someday

hands down, the worst family enviroment ive patronized in a long time. the staff. that little grey haired lady, and the italian owner dont have any buisness managing a buisness, they are the rudest people, only care about the bottom line,”money”. it is billed as a family bowling alley, its apparent it is a teen hang out for drinking and smoking, the lanes are oily, bumpy, dented, the mechanic is a drunk, service, hahah goodluck getting your beer or pop inside of 20 minutes , unless you go stand at the bar ,maybe ten, bottom line this place s*x, but i guess for a dollar a game on tuesdays, deal with it, ya get what ya pay for.

The lanes are can watch your ball skip across down the lane. on a typical night, the floors are sticky n havin on bowling shoes is completely worthless. But if your goin there to drink, smoke or just hang out, its cool. But on the bowling side…its s*cks. go to salt river down the street…..o and the service…they are a bunch of a**holes.

i just called here twice about bowling availability and movie times. it was obvious that i was bothering whoever answered the phone and he spoke to me like i should’ve already known the pricing.
i’ve been here in the past, terrible service, bad prices. i don’t recommend it.

Comment Date: 3/27/2008 Name: Tarah
I go to premire every friday night for the bands. I think it is a good oppertunity for teens/kids to get on stage and be heard by others. Me being only 16, I have a lot of fun there. Yes, it is really smoky and most of the people that are smoking are under age, but I do see works yelling at those kids and kicking them out. I never go bowling here but the bands are amazing!

The managers in the alley dont care about what happens or complaints you have. I complained to him and he blew me off like it was no big deal. I am on a league and trying to bowl for score and they place us next to 13 yr old kids smoking and wearing regular shoes on the alleys. I also stepped in a smashed cupcake on the lane and the manager did nothing about it. I do not recommend bowling at this alley to anyone. I also dont find this place appropriate to children as I was bowling there and the waitress was wearing a short, skimpy school girl outfit where her back side hung out the back and her chest was exposed.

Comment Date: 2/5/2008 Name: Steve
The bowling alley is decent. The major complaints I have are that it is extremely smoky inside, like they dont have smoke eaters and the lanes are very oily.

Comment Date: 1/18/2008 Name: Joe
The owners son is like my brother. And this bowling alley is perfect for teens. Dont b*tch about how bad it is. Your either 40 + or young kids.

I have had my students at Premier Lanes for bowling functions and it went pretty well. However I have had my child at birthday parties there and the staff does not care about what happens to the children. My child went missing and the manager simply said that it was not their responsibility. They didn’t bother to help us look or call the police. Luckily, we found our child. Unfortunately, I am writing this comment. It is okay to bowl at Premier Lanes, but don’t expect their unprofessional staff to care about you.

Comment Date: 11/23/2007 Name: Julie
We went to Premier today because it is right across the street from my sub. This bowling Alley is SOOOOO dirty. There are ashes from cigarette’s all over the place. The service is so slow. We had a ball stuck, which is no big deal, happens all of the time in all bowling alleys, but the kicker was that the guy walked down the lane with his cigarette and got the ball unstuck. I will NEVER EVER go to this bowling alley ever again – I will stick to my house lanes of Imperial.

My daughter wanted to have a bowling birthday party, so I went with Premier. The service was excellent. The young girls behind the counter helped us fill every need possible, they even helped us find light weight balls for my daughter and her friends. My only complaint is that some of the kids that come here and be very rude.

I fully recommend those who like to bowl and have fun, to come to Premier Lanes and Theaters. Its a nice and clean place. People there are very pleasant. Iv’e gone there alot and its one of my places I enjoy the most. Even though I can’t get over 100 scoring, its still worth it.

We were planning on having a birthday party at Premier and went online to check to see if they had a website with the necessary information regarding parties. However, we found this and scrolled down through the comments about Premier Lanes and we would like to let the people who were having a fundraiser there, know that upon reading their comments, we have decided to have the birthday party at the Aquatic Center instead.

Comment Date: 2/6/2007 Name: jackie nannini
I am the director of the foundation that should have had their fundraiser on Feb 6th, 2007. This event did not take place as the manager gave away 12 of the lanes we needed to bowl. Her suggestion to us was that we just fit in the remaining bowlers on other lanes. It did not matter to her that they would not all fit nor that they came together in groups and wanted to bowl with people they knew. Her response to overbooking was that she thought she would get away with it. We left the establishment after it was made clear she would not accomodate us. Even though we had made arrangements three months previously. As I have been telling this story I have found 3 other group who have shared the same experience with their fundraisers.. be careful when booking an event there.

Comment Date: 2/5/2007 Name: Terri Farmer
I have to be honest, this place has been good to us in the past years. We have a fundraiser there to raise money for our grief group, Ashley’s Friends for children who has lost someone close to them. This year I booked it over 3 months in advance and this past weekend was suppose to be our fundraiser 2/3/07. We sold the entire place out, without letting us know they went and booked a make up game for a once a month league. They told us that they would only be able to accomodate so many bowlers knowing that we had over 156. They would not budge, they were rude and the lack of respect that was given to us was uncalled for. Needless to say we fought with them for well over an hour and got absolutely nowhere. So we chose to ask everyone to leave the bowling alley and never spend another dime in that place. Sharon the lady who I have dealt with every year was simply not affected by this what so ever. She just chose to say that there was nothing that she could do. She did say that she would give us a whole $2 off our bowlers that were bowling, how nice of her meanwhile we still have a bunch of bowlers standing around because they took lanes 1 thru 12 away from us. Before that, being the professional that she is was sitting behind the bar smoking and doing shots. Very professional. There is no way that I would ever attend or have another function or spend one dollar at this place. Very disappointed and shocked in the lack of respect shown to us! Whats worse is that the money that we raised and would have raised through raffles 50/50 etc. unfortunately had to be refunded, so now we are back to square one, hopefully we will find another way to raise the money and the keep the sessions of counseling going for these children that deserve and need it. Way to go Premier Lanes for taking money away from grieving children.

My wife and I were invited to a Fund Raiser
for Children this evening. When we got there
the place was very full of people, alot there
for the fun raiser. We were surpose to start at
8:30 PM., at 9:30 we found out that the bowling
alley over book the lanes. The fundraiser for
children was booked 6 months in advance. We were
told at the counter by a lady behind counter that
the league that just started bowling was a make
up league but , I talk to some of the league
bowlers and they inform me that they are once a
month league and that was one of the days that was schedule to bowl. That was the first laid
found the lady behind counter. She was telling
150 people that we were out of luck, if we think
we were going to bowl tonight. She start getting
louder at us and another person behind the counter starting telling us all kind of reason
that we not going to bowl. Instead the people
behind the counter should have gotten our head
people who schudule the fundraiser and into a
other room and try to figure things out between
the leaders. 10 minute went on yelling back and
forth over the counter, then a young man behind
the counter jump over the counter and push me
neighbor and told him to leave the bowling alley
a few words were exchange between them and then
a large black man came from behind them and pulled and pushed my neighbor out of the bowling
alley. Then we left and then some of us went
to another bowling alley. I don’t know what
happen to the people remainding in the bowling
alley but I hope that no one every goes to this
bowling alley for anything.

A wonderful place! I love it there, it’s practically my second home. The bowling is wonderful, the staff is very cooperative. The bathrooms have automated soap dispensers, as well as automated paper towel dispensers, and always smell of tile cleaner, so whoever said anything about cockroaches lied. The movie theater is not the best in the world, but it’s not supposed to be because it’s the DOLLAR THEATER.

this is the worst alley i have been to in a long time. The staff is very rude and the bathrooms have cochroaches all over. The movie theater is colder than it is outside. If you want to go bowling don’t go here

My family and friends have gone here on a few differant occasions and have had differant experiences each time. Overall I felt the prices were good. The service has been pretty good but a few of the people who work there are rude and have terrible mouths.I have mentioned it to staff there and the problem was corrected. We will still go and enjoy the bowling and movies not every place is perfect!

I think the prices are to high on about every thing there. I coach a high school bowling team and when we bowled there in a tournament i was blown away with the prices. The people there are not nice neither, like a person said earlyer the people behind the counter swear to much at people and are rude. Bowlling cost to much and food cost way to much. I would not recomend this bowling alley for a family night.

You should post your movies, showing times, and price on your site.

I wish you could put the bowling times on the front page of your website.

My 12 year old daughter just came back from the one in Chesterfield Twp, from a benefit and just informed me the grey haired idiot behind the shoe counter swore at her saying the f word. As I said she’s 12. Something has to be done about it.

Yes. The people there are really nice. It’s usually packed there. Sometimes the monitors don’t cooperate. They need to fix it up a little bit. But the movies are good too. But they should start earlier on the weekends instead of 4:00, so that the early people can watch a movie.

My friend’s dad owns this bowling alley and theater and I would just like to say they have great service and prices and they are one of the best bowling alleys ever!
