this place is amazing. the pins have a nice crushing sound when your ball hits pocket flush at a decent speed. they have nice new sony olevia flat panels as monitors which is ridiculous. they have one bad lane when your ball had got about 50 feet down the lane your ball would jump and miss the backend. i don’t know if there was a broken board or what happened there but other than that the lanes are well kept. |

Mayflower lanes has instituded a “No Loitering” Policy. You are allowed to bowl or sit in the bar, but you cannot sit in the bowling area unless you are bowling, even if you are paying for beverages in the bar area.
I do not understand their reasoning, as having “Non bowlers” that are still bar / concession customers still generates revenue, and free up bowling space sooner (After all, if they don’t want to play they’re just gonna toss the ball down and waste time…)
However this policy change combined with the treatment myself and my friends recently recieved there leaves me to encourage you as the consumer to find a more group friendly place to bowl. |
