Where do I start??? From the moment you pull into the parking lot of this place be careful, you may damage your vehicle with the huge potholes (will definately need an alignment after). Upon entering you will notice the alley itself with the purple/smoke stained and I think red/smoke stained walls that could really use a fresh coat of paint since the place went non-smoking (Sept. 2011). Approach the counter and roll the dice on whether the employee has had a bad day or not and is going to make sure you know it by the time you walk away. They are very unfriendly and rude. The motto “The Customer is Always Right” DOES NOT APPLY here. After getting your 1960 era bowling shoes grab something from the snack (deep fried) bar, which actually is the least amount you will probably spend here. Although, I don’t recommend the soda (I don’t think they’ve never cleaned their syrup lines) because it is usually too sweet and has a strange taste.
Time to bowl… Hope you get a lane (50/50 chance) that doesn’t have some kind of frequent malfunction and also a working screen to keep track of your score. Only bring one child and hope there aren’t too many more there as they seem to only have 2 bowling balls for kids and strictly regulate who can use them. My niece was 10 and they made her use an adult ball because she might crack one of the children’s balls???
The management and employees (it’s a family affair) should be glad there is only one option for bowling in Bedford or else this place would be out of business. OVERALL THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!
Did I forget to mention the manager is rude and racist??

Since no one has commented on the place for 2 years I thought that I would. Broadview Bowl has come a long way. The staff is GREAT and the lanes are new!! They are always adding new things and trying different things. The bowling alley is still a lot of fun to go out and have fun with family and friends!!

Our visit to Broadview was a scream. Great lanes, excellent food, trained staff but a little too smokey. Should consider accommodating non-smokers somehow.

This place is getting worse every year. The management s*cks here, all they care about is the Cosmic Bowling. They don’t care about the league bowlers whose hard earned money keeps them in business. If someone would open up another bowling center this place would close for sure!

My whole family and I love to bowl, but can no longer frequent Broadview Bowl due the the endless smoking of workers and customers alike. The air is so thick with smoke I cannot breathe and neither can my husband or kids. Bowling is a great hobby and also has health benefits but not in an enviroment like this one….There have been several people I have talked to that have complained about the same thing. Until something is done about this we will all be doing our business in Bloomington.
