The Area your talking about on the southside of the bowling alley is not owned by us its owned by the hotel, we have asked the city to have them clean it up, But thanks for checking us out, and Saturday night we had 200 bowler for RocknBowl/ Cosmic Best And As far as our Help We have the Best in town..If you want over priced Bowling then please go to the other center named…

The outside of this facility looks like a dump. Actually it IS a dump! Look at the South parking lot. You will find a pile of dumped tires, an old couch that’s been there at least 2 years, discarded asphalt cans, old auto parts, broken glass. Go in and ask them to cleanup the south parking lot which they own!

The place smells, the food is greasy, and apart from all of that the setup is cheap. It was back to 1980 for me. All of the dopehead people working there are snobby. Didnt feel at home. If your looking for a good place to go cosmic, clancies is good, but has higher prices.
not going here again

Munsee Lanes is probably one of the best bowling centers in Delaware county. If you want fair prices, this is the place to go. The pro shop owners are always offering lower prices than other shops in town and usually offer some kind of discount.
The shot is one of the toughest but best shots in town. It gives bowlers the experience that they would experience in tournaments unlike the inflated scores offered by Liberty Bowl. Liberty makes you feel good about your scores but when you bowl at other places, you see that your skill is not what it should be.
Their cosmic bowling is nice and roulette is steadily increasing. Cosmic is now almost full on Saturday nights and is at a great price. $5 for 2 hours and includes shoes. It’s great family fun! My family enjoys it every week!
Overall, it’s a fantastic family center. I have never had any problems with the new employees and management. They are always courteous, kind, and willing to help out. As long as Tony Phillips and David Slaven run the show, I will continue to come back and give them my support.
My only complaint is that they need to have some younger workers there and synthetics would be nice but everyone has their opinion.

This place is iconic, Muncie has few iconic buildings, and establishments left.. Like everything else with aging, it still might need some work; and no matter were you go there are a***oles and d***heads. BUT, the pro’s of this place far out weigh the cons. I’ve been in this place since i had to stay in the kid center while my parents bowled in there league. i’ll continue to go back here and only here for a long time to come.

I have bowled at Tower/Munsee lanes for a long time, There is one thing about this place they have made some changes and from what I see the changes are good. Atleast they are tring to do little thing. The place is cleaner then it has been in years. They also have some new employees that are givin it a fresh look.

Are you serious this center has only one good thing going for it and it is Paul! This center truely is a low class facility that struggles to stay alive and now has the management style of a low end porn store. The enviroment of the center is well below par and for those who decide to spend his or her hard earned money at a bowling center I would hope that you ask for a discount and leave Paul a tip!

ok i agree with the people who support this place. the people who work there are like family to me and they are very nice.i have been at Munsee Lanes since i was .
muncie /anderson bowler “the lady at desk” is only rude to people who are rude to her and the lane conditions are perfectly fine.

Everything was typed as I wanted them to be…You keep shooting 300’s… mrs and averageing 220-225 at those easy houses, then come to Munsee Lanes and average about 195-205….its easy to talk (deleted) and hide on here. or behind the counter at Village Bowl..

In reply to joe bowler: First off, congrats on your attempt for a “comeback” post! Secondly, you give Mr. 300 the upper hand by the way you type and spell! mrs should be Mrs, thats should be that’s or that is, Oil should be oil, dont x2 should be don’t or do not!! SPELL CHECK!!!
P.S Munsee Lanes s*cks and that’s all there is to it!!

Munsee lanes is a great bowling alley. I enjoy bowling there every saturday morning and also for high school bowling practice with southside. They do a lot for our team too. BEST LANES IN MUNCIE!

Wow I bowled TKO on the 19th and was in the proshop and the prices was better than the proshops in my home town of Anderson I bowl at Coopers most of the time and Mike Riggens prices are really high my Dad bought me a Venom Drill grips and thumb slug 199.00..It would have cost me like 230-240 at Coopers…And the shot was great all day the guys and gals behind the desk was great all day..The proshop did ball and bag drawings all day long….See you next year…

The worst area in muncie, lady at desk very rude, and lane conditions just as bad. Wouldnt utilize pro shop because I have trusted the same person for years in Anderson. He now is in Muncie at the Village Bowl. His prices are fair and the Village is much larger and cleaner.

As of this Bowling Season the bowling center and Proshop are both under New Managment…The Center has 40 Wood lanes. The new owner and worker work hard every day to keep the place looking good for for the bowlers…They have a great youth bowling program every Saturday morning as well as very good high school bowling program the girls team has placed in the state finals each of the last four years, and the boys and girls both place in my First year of coaching them in 2003-04 season a first for Indiana bowling history…For a boys and girls team to make it to the finals from the same school….The Proshop has the best prices in the area. All new balls are below retail..

Bowled there in Moose International Tournament in March 2007. Staff friendly and helpful, overall very clean, all prices (food, bar and open play) very reasonable. During our 3 game set we had one stop, which was a pin setup.

I will drive the extra 10 miles to go to Clancy’s if I come to Muncie to bowl. The place is a dump, in bad area of town. Lane conditions are horrid and I agree with the 1st comment….the parking lot would have a better lane condition. New Owners couldnt care less about customers.

I would bowl in a parking lot before I would bowl at this place again. Needs to be by someone that can run a bowling center the way it should be run.
