Absolutely love bowling in this place!! I come down every year for the tournament and a vacation and the people and atmosphere is great. You can’t beat the prices during the summer. I’ll keep coming back year after year twice or more if I can find the time. Great lane surfaces, helpful and friendly staff, great tournament put on by great people. Thanks

I’ve always noticed White Sands is clean on the outside and inside (I’ve bowled there since 1999), plus they take really good care of their lanes (they even oil their lanes for open play, unlike other centers that leave lanes for open play just ‘however,’ making for a really crappy lane condition). I’ve gotten good food from their snack bar every time I’ve eaten there and never been disappointed. A real plus is the fact they have many more tables and chairs to put things on down behind the approaches, so there’s plenty of places to put one’s equipment and still sit. It certainly beats any place in Destin that charges 2x as much–so I drive from Destin just to bowl at White Sands (that’s how GREAT the place really is). You can’t go wrong with all their specials, namely “Beat the Clock” and their rent-a-lane specials (although the “Beat the Clock” discounted games are likely more reasonable in both prices and times than what some might get from the rent-a-lane; however for the ‘night owls’ and those not needing as much sleep for the next work day, one can get great deal on the late night rent-a-lanes).
White Sands really goes above and beyond to provide reduced-cost bowling to everyone at many different times, yet they don’t cut corners on their cleanliness nor lane/center maintenance. I dare say they’d shut down many centers in TX if they were located in the places I’ve bowled at that don’t do as good of a job. I highly recommend bowling here, even if it’s farther for some–it’s just really worth the trip. 🙂

This is a great place for the entire family. The center is always clean and neat. There is a lounge and a full service snack bar. Snack bar is an understatement because they also have a huge menu of hot meals available. I thought the pizza was fantastic and not as expensive as your local pizza joints! They also have a very nice “Unrowdy” lounge which is great. I’ve noticed how the management watches over to make sure everyone enjoys their time there and that no one gets out of line. If they do they are gone. You will find some very friendly people there that will make you feel welcomed. What I like about it the most is the overall clean, friendly atmosphere that you don’t find at some other bowliny “Alleys”. Thank you!
