I was in the center when the new owner (who is the wife of one of the previous owners) was there. She was actually yelling at one of the now former employees in front of all the customers. The ex-employee asked if they could talk in private and the owner continued to yell very loudly. I felt exteremly uncomfortable being there and think it is unprofessional to do what this woman did. I have not been back and will not support a company that treats its employees and customers that way. If you want to have fun and feel welcome Fountain Valley Bowl is not the place.

Spartan in its amenities. No benches.
I had not bowled in years, last time in CT over five years ago and I was shocked at how bad my game was. But lack of practice wasn’t the only reason. The lanes were heavily oiled with no apparent pattern. Number One lane had an annoying drift to the right despite the oil (yes, I have a hook to the left).
I haven’t had my own ball for many years so I used Valley’s. Small selection. Nevertheless, the friendly staff and discounted games made for a good time.

If you haven’t been here in a while you really need to go back and see all the changes taking effect. New staff is very friendly and helpful. New full service lounge now. New owners doing wonders. Prices are good. One of the best centers in Colorado Springs. Don’t stay away, changes keep happening!

Lanes are too oily, no pattern, just oil. New owners should make improvements, we hope. Price is right.

Good Place, needs work on oil pattern. They have new owners so everything is different, they need to stop putting so much oil on the lanes, the ball won’t even come up the lifts.
