It must be a place for kids. I don’t bowl often but I couldn’t find a ball that my fingers cound fit into. I guess you have to have your own ball to bowl there, or at least tiny hands.

after reading these comments i cant believe we have to bowl here for the state championship this saturday. how are we supposed to have a good competition with crappy lanes and ball returns? my father will be speaking to the manager once we arrive from longmont friday afternoon

WOW! Some of you need to push the little spell check. Are you a bunch of kids? Did you graduate High School?

I went to this place once and was impressed with the overall appearance of the place. Very nice looking proshop with average pric3es. Then I got onto the the lane. I have been bowling mots of my life and am 31 years old and couldn’t believe how trashed the approaches were. Even worse was how dry the lanes were. I was easily hooking my cell 35 boards. Heads were dry as a bone and had the most miserable time trying to hit the pocket. It was like bowling in a driveway. My girlfriend puts hardly any hand on the ball and hers isn’t much more reactive than a plast ball, she was hoooking it 15 boards easily. Way too much. Ordered some food, yeah, it was cold when I got it. I complained to the manager I guess, he just opted to move me to another lane, but had none left surprisingly. I don’t recommend anyone go here who wants to work on their game. If you want to bowl on bone dry lanes, then sure, go to harmony.

I have bowled at Harmany for a youth league and it was the worst one I ever went to. I’m not bowling at Peak Bowl with Pro-am. At Harmany there is no care for USBC rules and curtification. The compition is minimal. Its not a competitive Place People go there for fun.
Can’t wait to see how they host the Colorado Springs Youth Kings and Queens torniment tomarrow.

harmony is wonderful! Anyone who says anything bad about sherri clearly does not know her. i miss everybody there and i am glad i got the chance to work there some of the best times i have ever had. and hi to gil i saw your comment down there….

Comment Date: 7/5/2009 Name: Penny
I would not be surprised if Harmony closes down within the year. For one the owner which I was told was named Sherri does not know how to manage the place at all. Totally clueless!! She gets rid of good employee’s and hires bad ones. Instead of fixing lane issues she puts new bathroom sinks in, and tile floors in. She needs to learn to prioritize. It’s boiling hot when you bowl there. Those crappy fans are not enough.
I am a league bowler and will not be returning next season I will be at king pin! If the place got rid of Sherri the place would be alot better.

I must say the new lanes are great the new plasmas are great but what’s up with some A/C it get very uncomfortable and the CHEAP fans do nothing.. Please turn the A/C on every once in a while or at least on Tuesdays.

Started bowling last year, not sure why I came back. Lanes are new but inconsistently oiled making for erratic ball action. Approaches are junk, dirty, marked up, sticky, nail holes, and broken boards. Almost every week I see somebody with a gouged ball, some beyond repair. Seating is poor/lacking, not enough chairs to go around. I feel that Harmony Bowl caters more to kids than league bowlers which is why I am moving back to a real bowling center.

Hey we have a new website with our information. Check us out at

Comment Date: 2/17/2009 Name: Worried Saterday League Bowler
I bowl here Saterday night league I must say Harmony is not what it use to be n i would not be surprised if it closes down within the year. From the owner tryin to make changes on things she has no clue about n hiring not all the bright employees n letting some go that brings in money. I go to Harmony to bowl and have fun i am a paying costumer but the one thing i hate the most is this new waitress whats her name we want the old waitress jenn back she at least knows what she is doing n always gtreets use with a smile and she fast i don’t wait no 10 minutes for a beer secondly the snack bar food has been crappy since the guy who has a lot of talent to run the place isn’t there god only knows why but he back again n gone again (now gone) he needs to stay too i refuse to have anyone else make my food, n that manager back there has no idea what she is doing when she’s there. 3rd and not least me and some league bowlers have decided this will be are last year at Harmony bowl because of these issues and many more I am not even gonna get started on the lanes issues n the machines. Things around there need to get better and people we would not mind paying you to have are there so goodbye to Harmony Bowl in a couple weeks and hello Kingpin.

Be careful at their lanes. They aren’t in very good shape and sometimes the lanes tend to be problematic. The ball return on lane 22 put a 10 inch long gash in ball. It took them almost 3 weeks to finally replace my ball after the pro shop determined it was beyond repair. I finally have my new ball and I will most likely return, but just a word of advice keep on eye on what’s going on with your lane

Comment Date: 1/19/2009 Name: scoopers
It is most definately the staff and NOT the management that puts the “harmony” in Harmony Bowl. Somebody, please give the woman at the front desk a dictionary and turn to the page that discribes the words “customer” and “service”.
Either that, or change the name to “Pain – in -the – Butt” Bowl! again… many thanks for the one thing they do right; hiring super nice employees!!! xxooxxoo

Comment Date: 1/19/2009 Name: Justin
Worst customer service ever! They gave us a lane that was running slow compared to the lanes around us. and we asked if we could finish our current game (four frames left…) without being charged. and they said no. We showed them the difference in the lanes but would not aknowledge the fact it was slower. other then this the bowling is great. Both balls and lanes were in great shape. If you do decide to bowl here avoid lane 22 at all costs, as well as their manager

Comment Date: 1/7/2009 Name: tommy
i have loved the pro shop here since I bought my first ball. they always made sure they did the job right for me. as far as everything else, i cant say it is my favorite..especially on the weekends. but overall it is not terrible

Comment Date: 1/6/2009 Name: dakota
i think harmony bowl is overpriced! the lanes are good but the man at the front desk was rude

Comment Date: 11/7/2008 Name: open bowler
My family and I have never been to Harmony until i found this website and read these comments. I realize that it is hard to describe the people there. THe big lady at the front desk was very rude to us. She gave us a lane and my child is 4years old and told us the 8 pounds is the lightist they have and then the ball could not make it down the lane and they had a guy with short spiky hair (I think that is the guy other people on this comments were talking about) but he was very kind he brought my son a six pound ball and that helped out alot. But tgat big lady kept yelling at him. First I think that when a person like him is kind to help out and doing his job she should leave him alone when all she did was sit at the front desk not even caring to anser are questions and the guy had all the ansers. Is he a manager because if not then he needs to be or paid more to put up with that woman We do not go there tuesday afternoons and stay to saturdays now.

Great Job On The New Lanes!

Comment Date: 7/30/2008 Name: doesn’t matter
I think most of the complaints are unfounded. I’ve bowled there for years, and I have always thought the pricing was better than most other centers in town. They for the most part have a great staff; once and a while a bad apple will get in the mix, and that person usually disappears after a while, or changes his or her ways. I find the management to be helpful and responsive, maybe not always quick with implementing changes but they do happen (hmm… did you ever think there might be an owner that has to be consulted on some matters?) The lanes ARE oiled every day, a few lines of open play DOESN’T mess up the shot for a league bowler (maybe it used to, but the oil has evolved, even if you haven’t). Besides, most open bowlers don’t play the outside like an experienced bowler, they shoot the middle, which your ball should never touch.
They put in a new scoring system in October, including beautiful monitors, (it was kinda hard to learn, but they’ve already had software upgrades, and they were a test center for that system) and for those of you who care, they are having brand new ones installed right now. Bet that cost a fortune…

I Have a couple things to say about Harmony that I have noticed the past month. First, when I started bowling at Harmony Bowl I noticed that the house was very clean. Second, Me and about four other leagues will not be going back due to these issues. The past couple weeks we have not seen a certain person there who kept the place extremly cleaned, he was the best cook they had before he went to being a cleaner or whatever. That spiked hair guy was a very important person to that bowling center he was there everyday and now he just vanished. Ever since he left Harmony Bowl has dropped down the hole the place is horrible. It’s dusty and just plan nasty. The food there, ever since he left the snack Bar is disgusting. This guy even oiled lanes on the weekend I don’t know how much he was getting paid but if I ever decide to open a bowling alley I would do what ever it took to get him to work for me. But me and a few others have noticed this and are not to happy about it and will not be returning to Harmony Bowl this season because the place is one huge dump and other leagues are noticing this too. They need to bring back the guy how was always there to clean, oil, and back in the snack bar if they ever want to make there business go back to were it was and us return ever again.

Comment Date: 3/9/2008 Name: Michelle
I thought both places were nice but at harmony bowl they worked harder to keep the place clean

Comment Date: 1/31/2008 Name: Love to bowl
I like the facility. As for the shot, it’s competive. It makes you work and think. They have a special on bowling right now that I thought was awesome. Monday – Friday, 2pm -6pm, $1.50 game and free shoes. That’s great.

Comment Date: 10/4/2007 Name: Anonymous
This bowling alley is one of the worst in town for competitive bowling. The lane conditions over the last 3 years have been horrific to put it kindly. You can tell that league bowlers are not likely the situation much and many are quitting or have already quit after last season. Everyone wants to bowl well, and there are multiple other bowling centers within the area that provide a consistent shot on a weekly basis.
The Pro Shop located within the facility is exceptional. The staff there seems to know about bowling, the equipment they carry, and treat the customers with respect.
Most of the snack bar, bar, and waitresses are lethargic. The waitresses are the worst of the bunch. Many act as if they could do without the job, and the management should review their waitresses and remove half if not all of them. They seem to bicker amongst themselves anyway. Maybe the management could put them all in a cage together and let them fight it out over the $2.00 tips that people leave.
If I was the owner of this facility, I would take a good hard look at my mechanics, bartenders, snack bar attendance, and waitresses and address them all accordingly. I rate this facility very poorly. Regardless of where the income comes from the customer is ALWAYS right, be the customer a regular league bowler or a college student. This bowling alley needs some serious help wanted signs posted.

I took my family today (Sunday) and the place was clean and prices were very reasonable. We paid $2.50 for each game and $2.50 for shoes. There was a cheaper place in town, but they had a lot of negative comments and you get what you pay for. Kristy, the waitress, and Nate, the manager, were very friendly and courteous. This is where we will be going as a family while we live in Colorado Springs.

His name is Ben and you are right he is a sweet caring person and a real good cook. Evertime he is there me and the kids love going up there to order from lunch and bowl which he interduced me too ( $5.00 for 2 games, shoe rentals, and food from a menu)he is real polite and he always makes us laugh. Hes there it seems like monday and friday-sunday. They should let him work all week of course he might get tired of that. I always notice he like to talk to people and it seems like he always enjoys talking to a girl with blonde hair who comes in I think she is a manager but you can tell that there is. Anyways he is excellent at what he does, always gives me and my family great information and a real hard worker everytime we see him he is cleaning. If you ever read this web page Ben keep doing a good job and don’t ever leave Harmony or we are never going back.. Well we will to bowl cause it’s a fun place to be but where not ordering any food.

I go to Harmony everyday to bowl and have a good time. The lanes are great and I feel very wanted there. But There is one person everyone should meet he is a very nice, sweet, caring, and very easy going person no matter how you feel he still manages to put a smile on your face, and he even cooks food the best cook they have there. I don’t know his name but he has spiked hair.

This place is one of the best in town. Staff is usually nice and helpful, and drinks and food are within normal pricing. Cheaper games and shoe rental then anywhere else in town. There is no smoking except in the outdoor patio and there is also a room with tables and booths for drinks after the game. The bar is great. Staff is always friendly and helpful. They are amazing. I have a few complaints though. The carpet and tile were probably bought on the clearance rack, for they are hideous. And the first ten lanes are dry and there is cake smused into the carpet. My other compliant is that there is no- where for older kids to hang out during leagues. There is a playroom, but no where for kids over 8 to hang out.

i bowl at harmony a lot becuase it is the only house that has a real shot. If you bowl at beark creek and have a 200 average, come to harmony and that will change becuase it actually takes skill to bowl there.

Comment Date: 2/15/2007 Name: Anonymous
Bowl on Weds on the south end and many times kids are bowling on our dressed lanes before we start which messes up the oil pattern. Also noticed that there are quite a few honor scores bowled on the north end of the house (21-40) but none on the south end (1-20). I would not recommend this house for those who are a little more serious about their bowling. The staff is ok and the bar staff is very nice, prices are in-line with the norm for a place like it. Overall I would give it a C as it has some good and some bad aspects, but again if you are 200+ you should probably go to Brunswick or King Pin.

Comment Date: 2/7/2007 Name: John
Well 1st time I came I was on lane 38 and the 7 pin NEVER REGISTERED!!!! Strike or not it was not fun. So I thought maybe it was a fluke and we came back a couple days later and they put us next to the drunkest people i have ever met in my life the one guy kept falling into our lane and would come up and put his arm around us and ramble on, later on getting into a fist fight in the parking lot with the other guy that he came with…I think that the bar should have cut them off a long time before they got to that point

Comment Date: 1/21/2007 Name: hopeing they go out of business
I could not agree more with this comment. Comment Date: 1/3/2005 Name: Upset
The lanes never work right. I spent most of my time sitting a waiting for my ball to return and for the pins to reset correctly. When bringing it up to the management, I got ” Oh well, sorry”
Except I would like to add that I paid 15 dollars for color pin and I got strobe lights in the face, a big screen across the lanes that we were on. A lane that took a quarter size chunk out of another players ball and a response of oh well. oh and it took 4 hours to play three games because no one seemed to care that the lanesand the computers were straight {deleted} up.

Comment Date: 7/25/2006 Name: john
i went here with a group of friends, and honestly, i think people should Stop complaining. it was very fun, and we all found good ball that worked for us. the lanes worked well and we only had one mishap, which the managment handled very well. the food was a little bit greasy, but at least it was not overpriced. the drink were good becuase you could get refills very easily without them noticing (although i dont know if we were supposed to) overall, this place was nice and i come here everytime a bunch of people are getting together.

i used to work for harmony and well lets see the things i can say first management isn’t bad love you kir second the snack bar for the most part is great well except for the manager i think her name is paula well anyway yeah she’s rude but as far as the place its self yeah its not bad i love kareoke on thursdays ts better then the other nights and well my biggest complaint would be some of the employees there can’t seem o leave their personal lives out of everyones life it doesn’t matter if its another worker or a bowler they let everyone know what going on in their lives and bring other people in to it mainly while they work so thats about all other then that i love it there and won’t go anywhere else

This bowling alley isn’t very good. It is a horrible place to bring the family, because they allow smoking in their bar… but the smoke filters out into the alley making it a very unpleasant experience.

Nice fun for a group of friends but BAD for serious bowlers. The lanes are oiled rarely, in poor shape and the equipment will eat up your ball.

Comment Date: 2/5/2005 Name: anonymous
I like the oil pattern and everyone I have come in contact with seemed nice. Harmony has a more personal feel than Brunswick lanes and is kept up better than other privately owned houses.

This is the worst bowling center in the springs . Managment s*cks. Drinks are too high and the staff is very slow. Snack bar is filthy!Trust me, I’m an ex-employee. Go to KING PIN! Not to mention that lineage is spent as a personal allowance for manager.
