I love the lanes! Their food is awesome, its not the normal crappy snack bar food and its affordable. the place is super clean and not creepy at all. Everybody there is nice and they have Karaoke on saturdays sometimes.

Sexy Girl sounds like the dumb blond bartender that got fired for scaring off the customers with her boring problems and kid stories who couldnt make it to work. The place is great, the food is great, Dave is a nice guy Brandon is nice, Kristy , Lisa and Jennifer are nice.

Wheat ridge lanes is by far the best bowling center in denver metro. Classy owners and the food is bomb!!!!!! If i was gonna be a bowling alley I would be wheat ridge lanes. I go twice a week. I have even considered just camping in the parking lot so I can live there!! Keep it up dave!

The first time I went there the lanes were full and we had a drink and started to leave when one of the staff gave us 10 free game coupons. I can honestly say that is the #1 reason I bowl nowhere else. These people have always been friendly to me as a younger person. I love the older crowd that hangs out at the bar. Who cares how old people are at a bowling alley bar anyhow? Good conversation pit! Support your local alley! If you’re looking for a cheeseball $20 a game with a cosmopolitan go elsewhere.

The owner of this establishment is a complete jerk I don’t know how he stay’s in business the way he treats his customers. I bowled here one time and it will be the last time I ever bowl here again. They should close him down!!!

Wheat Ridge Lanes is AMAZING! I love going here to relax and have a great time! Dave the owner is so much fun and nice and caring. “Sexy Girl” you must have done something to really piss Dave and Kristy off because the past 10 years I have been going there they will only kick someone out if someone is getting to out of control and rowdy. This is a great family owned place and I love Dave’s daughter when she is around its a pleasure! love this place 100%!

I live 50 yards from this Wheat Ridge Institution and I think I’ll head there right now to wet my whistle, keep up the good work Dave!

There are a lot of friendly people at the bowling alley. The owner, Dave, can be a royal pain in the butt. He doesn’t seem to like very many people and if he doesn’t like you, he will find anyway he can to come up with an excuse to kick you out. I have seen this happen to several good people who are customers. I really do not like Dave. His atitude is bad. This is really not a good place to go if you are a younger person, the average age of the customers in the bar is 50+. Friday nights is good for the car shows & free food if you bring a car. The bowling is good too as long as you don’t have to deal with Dave or Kristy, his wife.

I live in Illinois, but visit Wheat Ridge Lanes at least once, whenever I’m in town. The employees have always been great and the food is really good too. The prices are very reasonable for everything, and we always have a fun time. Well worth checking out.

Been here a couple times. The food is great for a bowling alley (better food than some restaurants actually!). Bar service is so-so, but acceptable. Bowling staff super helpful and friendly. The only bad point I have is that they don’t seem to stick to an hourly schedule; ie:close early if biz is slow or inexistent. I never know if the place is actually gonna’ be open when I get there (after 8ish). I’ve noticed this about many businesses here in Colorado though,I wonder if this just might be a Colorado thing (?). Anywho, I rate this place a 3.5 outa’ 5 stars fer sure.

I have to leave my comment about Wheat Ridge Lanes. I have been there many, many times. Dave, the owner, is very nice and fun to be around once you get to know him. The food is always great and the bartenders are always friendly….Marie can be a little grumpy at times. There is very friendly people that hang out there. And the car shows are great! I also love bowl here. Thanks Dave for having such a great place! My family and I love Wheat Ridge Lanes!!!!

I know the cook wants me, the look in his eyes, the sound in his voice, when he prepares my food, he winks at me! I mentioned this to Dave & he said…bowl baby, bowl!

Ladies & Gentleman, the food is good! Gino is married, focus on Brandon or Norman – their HOT!!! I visit at least twice a week and and see Gino’s adorable wife helping him in the kitchen – they are so cute together.

the food is haute cuisine. The cook, Gino, is fabulous, & sexy.

Stop in Mondaay tru Friday. Good food and bar service. Marie is a true mixolist. A fringe benefit, she has to be one of the best looking and friendliest bartenders in Denver.

My brother in law and his family the Robertsons turned me on to bowling here. I have met many people who have worked here and met many customers, always a blast! Dave is hospitable and not once have we had any run ins. This club gets all fives in My book, and it is one of my great picks for entertainment.

I dont think that Elaine person is there anymore. Kayla always works when I am there and she is nice. I like it there.

Comment Date: 3/8/2007 Name: Brenda
I have known Dave for a while now and have never seen any unprofessional behavior, infact I have helped at his car show for the past few years and only see what a great guy Dave and His Father are. As for Elaine she is no longer there. So that should not even be an issue as for the food, spirits and staff I have always had good food, good drink service and the staff has always been there to serve me when I needed. Thanks Dave & Dad for all you do!!!!!!!!!

A year ago this was a tense place to be at, know it feels relaxed again! Good job.

Horrible place. All the employees are rude. Horrible service. Bartender only wants to serve the people she knows. Food was Terrible. Was here 2 months ago and things were great. Will never be back. Owner needs to sell fast !!!

I’ve just started bowling there and have seen none of the behavior mentioned in previous comments. Dave and Elaine have been just fine to me and my friends. We’ve never had to wait for service and the food is pretty decent, considering they don’t have a real kitchen or restaurant. It’s a bowling alley for godssake, not LoDo. I don’t have ridiculous expections for something I do for a few hours and a few bucks.

All lies! Known Dave and his family for years. Very clean and well organized center! Good job to everyone!

Quit a league here, Dave screams at his customers.
Very poor person to put in charge of a bowling center.

Food took forever and was only half done. Woman working bowling counter is very rude.

Comment Date: 10/4/2005 Name: Anonymous
Elaine is so busy sitting in the bar that she can’t wait on the front counter.

Comment Date: 10/4/2005 Name: Anonymous
I am a senior and quit bowling here because the system is always broke and every time you tell Elaine she yells at you.

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
Miss the long haired bartender who worked there.

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
Need to get rid of Jennifer, to much of an effort for her to wait on you.

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
I have been bowling and drinking here for 15 years. Will not go back as long as Dave & Elaine are there!

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
Miss the friendly employees that worked there a few months ago.

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
They should fire the management, they are always yelling at the employees and guests! I will never return.

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
Two months ago they had great employees. Now they treat you terrible!! I will never return.

Comment Date: 10/3/2005 Name: Anonymous
Elaine on the front counter was very rude. Jennifer in the bar was too busy sitting to wait on us for our drinks. Food was overcooked.

On Sunday Oct. 24, 2004 you can bowl three games, including shoes and a free drink for only $20.00. All proceeds go to the Max Fund, a great no-kill animal shelter in Denver. Please help us give stray and injured animals a “second leash on life”.
