I have read all the posts that people have placed on this site. It’s sad to see that people are still complaining about lane conditions. In my opinion the scores have gone up a lot since the new lane machine. People don’t understand that weather chenges lane conditions on a daily basis. I don’t care where you go and bowl the shot will never be exactly the same. As for the place being a dump your mistaken. I have been to many bowling centers and this one is by far one of the cleanest centers I have seen. Don’t get me wrong there are nicer centers out there, I have seen them. For a privately owned center this place is in good shape. All the center needs is new lanes. Hopefully that will happen in the near future. For those of you that haven’t been around, the center is going through a lot of changes. They just reopened their pro shop about 2 months ago. Robert Harmon is running it. That guy is good at what he does. If you need bowling equipment go see him, he will take care of you. I also learned that he is the new assistant manager. Thats exactly what that place needed. Robert is working two jobs and loves the bowling alley. If you have any concerns go see him, he is a nice guy to talk to. Robert is very much a people person and likes to help people. Oh and by the way you should see that guy bowl, hes good. Stop in the center and watch the changes they are making, they are going in the right direction.

What is up with the bartenders here – good luck getting a drink – I would like to come here more, but the tenders are away from the bar too much. Hope that changes.

Oh my gosh, your ave dropped 60 pins and it is the lane man’s fault. Hmm sounds like a little practice is in order.

Well all the individuals that have a problem usually their own problem sand they need to blame on someone or something but themselves.
Gold Country Lanes is a fun place, been going there for 9 years or longer.
So take YOUR problem elsewhere and stay there
until you can figure yourself out!

you bought a new oiler and my score jumped 30 pins,to where it should be. Now your new mechanic, that throws a straight ball, changed the oil pattern so my score has dropped 60 pins – good job!!! I will not be back for winter league. Maybe you can make all the money you need by charging $2.50 for every ATM transaction at your new ATM machine, but I doubt it. Oh, and $7.50 for a crappy bowling alley club sandwich made by someone who runs there hands through their greasy hair before they touch your food – are you crazy?

They bought a new oiler and my average went up 30 points. Now they have a new mechanic that throws a straight ball, and he set up a oil shot for 90 year olds. If you throw a hook, don’t bother joining a league here. What a dump.

A new Kegel Kustodian Lane oiler was purchased in 2009. Pinsetting machines were rebuilt in the first quarter of 2010. New TV’s were added to the concourse and bar in late 2009. They have a huge HD projection TV in the bar.

I don’t know why everyone is this negative about these lanes, I’ve always had nothing but a good time while there, although I admit I’ve never eaten there and they could update their look. Other than that, it’s a fantastic place and a lot of fun.

First off, the blond manager wasn’t a manager, but a bookkeeper, The management has constantly been horrendous, and the employees are treated like dirt. The food is… quite frankly… Bowling alley food. The lounge (bar) is the biggest place up here, and all around not too bad.

The bowling center needs to put some oil on the lanes. Very dry conditions. They need to spend some money to bring in bowlers. They need to change with times.
