Im at the bowling alley almost everyday and Larry and Ed are the nicest and most helpful guys ive ever met. I love bowling there, a very family oriented place, and nothing but fun

I am from yuba city and i think oroville is the best center anywhere and i have bowled everywhere.Nu generations is one of the worst centers i have ever been to .Oroville has a good pro shop and for the most part friendly people that work there…..

I am from Las Vegas and we have lanes of all kinds there. When I visited my in-laws in oroville I got the itch for bowling. I arrived a bit late on a Friday, about 9 pm and was surprised they actually had some lanes open for open play at this time in vegas you CAN’T find a lane in town all leagues. Although I had a couple of issues like the staff not really knowing how to handle a dead wood, where everywhere else they would just walk down the gutter and throw it into the pit there they did it the hard way. But the fact of the matter is that the lanes although a bit oily where actually dry by my standards and anyone who thinks those lanes are oily are anoyingly whiny bowlers, the kind I easily beat in every tournament I’ve ever been in. To cut it short if you don’t know how to bowl stay off the lanes I liked them and was able to get pleanty of hook on the ball standing at 35 and throwing 20 with an ogre solid and my virtual gravity was going brooklyn when I would normally need to stand 20-25 and throw 5-10 in vegas. The lanes were perfect and when I come back this is where I will bowl.

To the nu generation bowler that said the lanes s*ck at Tyme to bowl. Well I have tried that excuse for years and its not the lanes its the bowler. Good bowlers learn how to adjust to different oil patterns so you are not alone but wrong. By the way Tyme to Bowl is way cleaner, and nicer that nu gen!

when i went there i wasnrt sure what to expect, all i can really say after one visit is the prices were a little high, and the lanes were too oily, but the over all appearence is great and the lady at the front desk after i told her how i wasnt used to so much oil she was very nice to strike up a convo and we talked about both centers. the lanes s*ck but everything else was pretty good.

Well to who ever made a false comment about my husband Larry Campbell. I for one know how much effort my husband puts into Tyme to Bowl Lanes. He is very committed to improving the business at all costs and improving customer service. Yes he is rough around the edges when you first meet him but he is the best manager and husband anyone could ask for. I am the one who see’s less off him because he puts so much time into his job and pleasing the public, so I should know. As for going golfing, someone who works anywhere from 48 to 80 hours a week deserves to take a break and go golfing. So I agree with Larry Peppers if you stand by what you say leave your name COWARD!

Why is it that so many of you can criticize a person but do not have the guts to put your name down. You really do not know what you are talking about when it comes to Larry Campbell, Manager of Tyme To Bowl Lanes. All of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Well! If you really know Larry Campbell. You wouldnt be leaving bad commments about him. He might be alittle rough around the edges. When you first meet him. But once you get to know him. You will see he has a big heart and he is nothing but a big teddy bear.

I agree with the first post. The bowling center manager really only cares about himself, the bonuses he may get and keeping his cronies happy. The regular bowler, or the family that comes into to bowl, he really doesn’t give a spit about them. I have seen him care mroe about getting out of the bowl to golf when his emplyees need assistance.
As far as the rest, it is a good center, with lots of potential. The main pro shop guy, Ed, rocks. Best ball driller and coach I have seen. Cares for everyone that steps in the doors.

I really appreciate a comment from a person who has the courage to critcize and can’t leave his name.

Why doesn’t Tyme to Bowl Lanes have a website? Get with the decade, folks. It must be because the manager of this particular bowling center hasn’t a clue as to what the people actually want. He cares more about himself than providing the public with easily accessable information, 24×7. Hats off to ya, Larry Campbell! It’s time for you to listen to your customers.
