If it has been awhile since u have been to Pismo Bowl come see what’s new. New lanes, new scoring, new furniture. We also are now serving pizza.

Pismo Bowl old school? Yup. Lanes leaning left? Nope. Don Stote a great guy? Beyond words great.

I grew up around pismo Bowl, and played baseball with Brian Stote Back in the 70,s.Don Stote was our allstar coach. The bowling ally was a place that all the kids went.I was there just last summer and it still reminds me of yesteryears.thank you Don stote.

We live in Orange County and get up to Pismo Beach at least once or more a year. We bowl EVERY day at Pismo Bowl. It’s the very best. Susie and her group make us feel like family!!!

It’s a great place to bowl and league play, but it needs a full time Pro-Shop, one that is open when the bowlers need it to be open, The Center in Paso also needs a full time Pro-Shop that is open when the center is open (they say they have one but it is never open, and when it is the woman working has no clue what she is doing), but either way for bowling both places are really great.

well every time i go there it seems there is leagues going on, but other than that and the undeniable fact that i have to use my right hand to get the ball to go straight, it is purdy darn good there.

I love Pismo Bowl and would recommend it to anyone. Its old but very clean, fun and has great people. Just for the records the lanes dont “lean left” I know that they have been inspected by the USBC and pass just like any other bowling center.

I have bowled at Pismo for several years now, once the new owners took over it has had remarkable improvements. I have never noticed the “left lean” but decided to investigate anyway and have to concur with Brandon NO LEAN… perhaps the fact that the outside street is sloped is deceiving people. Become a regular at these lanes and they treat you like Family. OH and Suzie cooks up the best french fries in the world!!!

Maybe the alleys in Ventura County (Wagon Wheel and Buena Lanes) spoiled me, but this alley is not all that good. Lanes are old school, thats cool, but for as many people reside in the SLO area there should be a better alley.
Besides, the lanes are oiled very lightly. So much so that even my plastic ball curves too much to be effective. Maybe it is old school, but I will drive 30 minutes to Santa Maria to avoid it.

I love Pismo Bowl. The lanes lean so far to the left they can be considered communist but its the best place around. My ball curves to the right so it works for me. The employees are like gold. They are precious. I wont bowl anywhere else. I love you guys.

I bowled in many leagues at Pismo Bowl. Yes, the lanes lean to the left, but that is one of the endearing qualities of the house. Sometimes during the Summer, lane 8 would start coming up just past the fouline. The former owner, Don Stote, would go and pound it back down. Gosh those were the days…long stand Pismo Bowl.

I work at Piamo Bowl, and I gotta agree with Brandon about the 10 beers comment…I also know that i have had nothing but praising conmments from our customers, And i’ve never not seen thier faces just once.. they always come back another day of fun.

I work at Pismo Bowl and have gotten the comment that the lanes lean left. So I took the liberty to get a level and see for myself.. perfectly straight. And plus, everyone who has commented on that have already had 10 beers that night.

I love Pismo Bowl. 8 wood lanes, down the street from the beach, warm friendly staff, great prices, yummy food, and fun leagues.

Super old school. Real wood lanes, above ground ball return. If you like nostalgia, go for it, if you want to bowl well…..forget about it.

Pismo Bowl rocks, except their lanes have the slightest lean to the left… oh well
