I think someone confused Tava with BCR when referring to it as a 60 lane center. Tava was 32 lanes and the last time I bowled there it still had wood lanes. Back in the 70’s there were a lot of great houses all within easy freeway (not crowded back then) reach – Corona Bowl, Magnolia Lanes, Tava, BCR, all friendly and dearly missed. |

RIP Tava Lanes. And to David who loves ABC, the machines are not new. Don’t comment on issues that you don’t have a clue about. |

Tava Lanes – as a Riverside College student, I took bowling as a PE class. I did earn my Junior league Instructor. The year was 1962 |

Tava Lanes was One of the BEST bowling center Citrus Belt had. It truly broke my heart when they closed their doors. I have many memories there, tournament wins, a couple of 300 games, and great friends I had there. Truly a Sad day in Inland Empire bowling when the Great Tava lanes closed it’s doors. |

Wow! how a guy live in Mo Val for 20 yrs had anything to do with my Tava Lane? You live in Mo Val and you can’t stand my friends at ABC Bowl? Get a life and leave my father’s bowling center alone! |

Texan! How dare you question my opinion! You are beyond lonely. I think you need to get in touch with God a bit more to set aside your anger! Be with your daughter and make up with your wife! I love bowling at ABC because their enviroment is cheerful just like TAVA and also Leo is there. If you Bowl at Tava, then you should know who I am. To Tava Bowlers, I think Leo and my words still carry some weight!Sincerely, a True TAVA Veteran. Oh! By the Way, our beloved Pro Shop Man, Leo Estes, is at ABC Mroeno Valley Bowl now. If you lost contact, stop by and say Hi!

David!
How dare you compare Tava to ABC! You are unscrupulous. I would love to drive your customers away by telling each and every one of them how you can’t even leave our beloved Tava Lanes alone!
Sincerely,
20 Year resident of Moreno Valley |

I am sad that this place is closed now! The owners was so nice and friendly! Now I Bowl at ABC Bowl in Moreno Valley. Same friendly service and brand new machines! It reminded me of Tava Lanes with a FACE Lift! |

I cannot recommend Tava Lanes enough! This place has the feel of a small town business where everyone knows your name. The employees are all friendly & the prices are reasonable. It’s not a corporate feel like other places. And I guarantee that you won’t find better food at any bowling alley you’ve been to. This place is a tradition in Riverside & I can see why it’s been successful for so many years. |

This place is great. Friendly employees. Not a corporate center so it feels like the customer really is important. Very reasonable prices & the best food I’ve ever had at a bowling alley. |

I’ve passed by this place numerous times and finally got the urge to try it. First of all this place is not very exciting to look at outside, in traditional bowling lane shape and color, it looks small from the outside. As soon as you step in, you are greeted by 60 style decor with brown tones and dark wood. I was pleasantly surprised to see modern Brunswick 2000 ball returns and nice, yet weathered, alleys. The ball return is quick, eating areas big, and the excitment level high. I haven’t had this mcuh fun bowling in a long time, no wonder the Press Enterprise, and the people of Riverside, voted it as the best bowling alley in Riverside. Good job Tava! |
