Found out the guy that runs place is john T, Some fat bald guy . Go back to managment school, Your employees need direction. You bathrooms are much dirtier then a gas stations and never have toilet paper. Please fix the machines and tell your mechanics to speak english! Bloomenfield/ Friedmen should know what a dump you have created!

I recently bowled here for a tournament and I have to say that I was quite pleased with the place. They seem like nice folks there and it was fun playing pool and listening to the jukebox before bowling.
Thanks Albany Bowl for an enjoyable fun environment.

my friends and i had been bowling at this alley for years. we started going there because it was fairly close to Cal. however, years of extremely poor service and heavy oiled lanes has landed this alley on my personal ban list. if all you care about are its cal student specials, then waste your money. But if you want to give your money to people who have a small interest in the customer, then I suggest any other alley. even a sidewalk would do.

I went to this place months ago and I really enjoyed it. There were all ages bowling, and the music videos really made it fun…i went with a new date and it helped that this place was fun.

I’ve bowled at Pinole valley lanes for months and now starting to bowling at Albany bowl, the staff at Albany is GREAT!!! and they make you feel like family, the lanes are good and they just added new scoring equipment. I would have to score Albany bowl at a 300!!

This bowling alley has changed tremendously from the 80s – the time I used to hang out there in High School. I like the modern computer technology they use there. The computer screen animations are great and entertaining. You even have the option of playing screen poker when you bowl. My spouse and I have only been bowling there for the last month and a half, and I have to say that the staff is very friendly and helpful, responding to my every little request. The ‘regulars’ that go there are super congenial and helpful with their great bowling tips. The best part of all is that we only pay $1 a game every Thursday and Friday from opening to 5pm. It is SO worth it. You definitely get a lot for so little. I highly recommend that you go for the dollar days and bring the kids if you can. I hear the leagues are a lot of fun, too.
This bowling alley has improved and impressed me – and I’m a pretty picky person.

I use to bowl at Albany Bowl and we thought it was a great place then for teenagers and adults to hangout. But it sounds like it has gone to the dogs. I should drop in some day to check it out but don’t know when. Maybe I will see a familar old face.

I bowl here twice a week. This alley has gotten worse over the past few years. The new lanes were a nice touch but the staff doesn’t know how to take care of them. All of the pinsetters need serious repair/replacing. The staff doesn’t really care unless you are paying for something. After that you are on your own. It’s an ok place for kids. This is NOT a good alley for the price.

A neat place to bowl. Kid friendly in the day. My child had a birthday party there and it was great. Of course a different crowd is there at night, and it remains a fun and safe atmoshpere. For the location, it’s a great place to go bowling. (And if you take a date bowling and don’t expect to see some freaks…I guess you’ll never get it.) If you’re in the East Bay and want to go bowling. Try Albany Bowl. It’s fun.

I’ve been to many bowling alleys throughout my life, but never to one this bad. Four dollars a game and four dollars for shoe rentals. Don’t be fooled by these fake reviews giving it great ratings. It’s a filthy stink-hole and it is impossible to bowl well there. My date and I were seriously disgusted. The crowd that was there doesn’t help matters either. Stupid kids danced right into my lane several times and nobody on the staff seemed to notice. The bar’s dart boards didn’t work well, and the drinks were nothing to brag about. I didn’t even bother looking at the pool tables for fear I might see a mother changing a baby’s diaper on it.
