| Alas, Almanor Bowling Center has closed as of February 2013, and will become a Dollar General store. Fun while it lasted. For an alternative, though a drive, there are bowling lanes in Red Bluff, Quincy, Burney and Susanville. |

| Discovered this center in June. Well-kept facility, but the lanes can be challenging when there’s no oil on ’em. Call ahead for hours, as some days they don’t open until the afternoon. Somewhat pricy. |
