Lets face it guys. This house has a reputation as being the easy house. look at the numbers of 300 games bowled in this house year after year. You will be lost at most other houses. League bowlers love it because it creats a false sense of accomplishment. Lets test my theory. put out a christmas tree pattern for the saturday reno league and see seperation of skilled bowlers from bowlers living on the bubble

I just called Mel’s and the prices range from $3.25 – $6.25 per person per lane. The high end if for “Blacklight Extreme Bowling” on friday & saturday nights starting at 9pm. Shoe rental is $4.50 per person. Not bad and they offer a “Fun Pack” for $57.70 you get 4 people to 1 lane including shoe rental for 2 hours unlimited bowling plues a bucket of popcorn & a pitcher of soda. for another $12.00 they will throw in a 1-topping pizza.

My boyfriend Paul and I bowl at Mel’s Bowl all the time and we like it. The people who work there are very nice and very helpful. We always have a great time bowling at Mel’s Bowl.

Prices are high for bowling there. I enjoy the lanes however. Medium oil, with some carrydown due to I usually bowl after leagues over there. Probably has my least favorite seating area around the scorers, but hey, I am there to bowl. The proshop owner Rick, is second to none. I’m constantly bothering him with questions, and he constantly has an answer that I can understand and make sense of. Fixed my span, and has helped me with my game. Front desk guy is named Scott, and he has been helpful as well. Always have fun when I am over there.

This place has a great Pro Shop in the back with a professional bowler. However the bowling lane rates are over-priced tremendously. The lanes are heavy oil with much carry-on, but probably changes during each week.
