I bowl League there for 3 years this will be my fourth and I love it. Great food and fun. Lanes need a little work but when you are with your friends having fun that is so very minor.

Your prices have got up for the summer and your maintenance has gone down. I once bowled here wirh water dripping on my alley. You really need to put some of the increased charges into repairs of the place. Do you have mold. Look up.

I think your prices are way too high for a family of 4 to bowl even one game.

Psh, Everyone needs to stop hating on the food there! The prices may be kind of s*ckish but the food is good! And the workers there work hard so ppl need to just lay off and put themselves in the cafe workers shoes!

The Alaska USBC Womens State Bowling Tournament was a great time! Eagle River Bowl went above and beyond in accommodating the out-of-town bowlers, even giving rides to and from the motels.
The bar service was excellent boy did we have a good time there! The bar even opened early to accommodate the ladies who started bowling at 9 am. We played pull tabs, ate at the caf and had an all around superb experience. Too bad all the tournaments couldnt be held at this facility they really were on the ball!

This is a great place for kids to go in Alaska, however the prices are way too high. $15 for a couple of hours is really pricey for a kid.

This place has really improved in the past year; I am assuming it is due to good management. The pro shop is attended by an actual professional bowler and the food from the Cafe’ is excellent!
The day bartender, Julie, is always cheerful and is smokin’ hot; she always makes us feel like we are the most important customers in the place. Sometimes we go to bowl just to talk to her.
I am looking forward to all the scheduled tournaments and watching the Alaskan talent this winter! I highly recomend this facility!

This place is the best run place in the state bar none. It has a great atmosphere and the people are very nice. The head mantiance man came up to our kids today and gave them a few pointers on how to bowl and they bowl the best that they had ever bowled. I give this place 5 stars.

They should tear this place down. Bring back East 40! And put some trim around your TV mounts. It looks like The ceiling is throwing up metal poles. What a disaster. And the Fan wobbles really bad on 11 and 12.

Can I get a re-rack?

During the City tournament this week I found the center in pretty good shape, although the old guy who was retrieving those “Dead Woods” in the gutter would walk on the lane itself. Sure, he was past the oil patter but what if he had water on his shoes? Secondly, I bowled pretty good but my partner s*cked real bad and I think it’s partly the center’s fault. It was way too hot and the oil was absorbed quicker than usual with it being so warm in there. No oil means my partner stinks and I’m left missing out on the cash. I know that’s more of a personal problem but dang, a little help would’ve been nice. The approaches were nice.

I agree, their open play prices s*ck. But they actually treat their league and tournament bowlers pretty good. Dont eat the food, unless you get the lunch special with a beer from the bar….and if you know how to bowl the lanes are easy to score on.

These guys don’t know what you are talking about, because Im in a league and bowl now and then and it is not as bad as they say but not the best. And thats the truth

Your lane breaks down like non-stop and takes freak*n half an hour to get it fixed. Maybe Im being a little overdramatic but seriously it stinks. Costumer services is bad and yeah teh fatty is a guy to watch out for.

The food is way too expensive. The computers don’t work right, they need alot of work when it comes to customer service.

Hey this places rocks, all of you have no game.

I have been bowling here since 1997. They have horrible customer service (beware of an old man named Darwin, he is the worst), horrible lanes and machines, their computers are screwed up, and…Honestly, everything about it is horrible. Bad price, bad food, everything. I’d advise everyone to stay away from here. Take your business to a better house, like East 40.

The prices are way too much. The lanes need a lot of work. I would suggest going somewhere other than Eagle River to bowl.

The Eagle River Bowl is just OK, it is a great place to go in the summer, and during your days off from school, the good thing is, you can bowl with your grades, but if you have to pay, it’s VERY expensive….and the quality of the bowling alley is sort of dirty, and the bathrooms need some work. But overall, its a great place to hang with friends and family.
