I have been bowling for over 40 years and I can honestly say this is the worst bowling center I have ever bowled in. The wooden lanes have not been resurfaced in years (10+). When your ball hits the lanes pieces of polyurethane fly up. The wood boards are loose, nails stick up on the lanes and approaches and the lanes are not level. If you plan on bowling here bring equipment that you dont plan on using anywhere else. This house will destroy your bowling ball (had to have my ball resurfaced every 4 to 6 weeks because of the damage). The equipment is falling apart. The lane oiling machine always has something wrong with it so it never lays out the same pattern. The scoring equipment is old and very unreliable (you have to constantly monitor your score for accuracy). I have no idea how this bowling center (and I use that term loosely) can be sanctioned by USBC. The only good thing about this center is that it is convenient for the people who live here. I would not recommend this center to anyone.

Walterboro Family Bowl has a restaurant now with great food. I had a 13 oz Rib eye steak dinner for $10.95. Best steak I ever had and then bowled all night on their Tuesday night special for $6.00. Now that is a good deal.
