We have to keep the prices high. The Village of Rockville Center has it’s own electrical power plant, when the power goes off everywhere else the power is on for our house. The price of electric out of this private plant is very expensive. We may have to raise our rate even higher this coming september.

RVC Lanes is so desperate to keep the leagues they have that they asked Greg Centamore to come back and work for them thinking that will keep the bowlers at RVC. The best thing RVC lanes could do to keep the leagues is lower the bowling rate for the leagues. The leagues are paying $17.00 for lineage making the bowlers pay 27.00 a night. Baldwin lanes is trying to lower their lineage but not by much. You don’t need Greg RVC lanes, you just need to lower your lineage.

A great place to bowl! Def family friendly. I find the staff friendly and helpful. It has been updated quite a bit since new owners took over. It’s still in the process, but looking fresh and new and inviting. The snack bar has also been updated and I find the food and service wonderful!

there is never a surprise from the LaSpina family first they chase away the only manager bowlers liked. So maz i hope your doing good at Baldwin. Now they chase Alex out who we all like and they got this guy Joe here who is a foney two face SOB in the pro shop crying about how he had to pay rent well Joe the american wat of life if you didnt know you have a bussiness you must pay rent. The only goof thing is that the LaSpina’s think there smart they always esle do there dirty work for them so they can go on in life looking clean but LaSpina’s are no better then the owners of Baldwin.

This is a house of thieves. My friends and I came to RVC lanes last saturday and we ordered a few drinks. My girlfriend ordered a Long Island Icetea and the cost of it was $12.00. We went bowling again on July 4th weekend and the elderly bartender says the price of the Long Island Icetea has gone up to $22.00. When we asked why the price jumped by ten dollars the bartender says to us (it just did).

the main guy there is a scam artist and over charges every chance he can get. Be very aware of what you ask for and what he charges you for and always keep the receipt.

Winter is here & so is the snow. This poor renovation that RVC lanes has done is allowing anybody who walks in with snow on their shoes to go right on the lanes. A large group of people came in and stood in a long line from the counter to the approach. These people didn’t wipe the snow off their shoes so there was alot of water around the seating area & the approach. It took 35 minutes for the line of people to clear & the clean up guy to clean up the water.

my friends and i, about 20 of us, just went to rockville center for a small party. when we got to our lanes the tables were so small and could only seat 4 people at a time. they have a row of tables that are so close to the lanes that 1 of my friends nearly got hit in the head while sitting at the table. the table is secured to the floor and cant be moved. i dont recommend this place if you have alot of people to bowl with.

This house is under new ownership, and this new owner is remodeling the place. They’ve istalled new tables, all lined up in 2 rows going down the entire length of the house. These tables are tiny with attached seats. They’ve eliminated at least 30 percent of the seating, now you cant put your shoes on without standing up. It’s 1 table per lane and you can only sit 4 people per lane with these tables making it bad for parties. The first line of tables is only 8 inches away from the approach, if you start at the first set of dots your butt almost touches the table. If your going to bowl with a large amount of people on any night this is not the place because you’ll be stepping on one another.

Agreat place to bowl. It’s under new management now and we’ll see how this goes. I do miss some of the employees who are not there any longer. Reason for lewaving is not known to me but oh well, life goes on. I wish they would put some more oil on the lanes and get rid of the inflated averages. Not saying to flood them on the other hand. Shot does seem to be too easy. When I can rip the pocket with a rubber ball, there’s something wrong.

place is starting to look better with the new owners – the staff behind the desk seem to be a little friendlier – but i don’t understand how you can have a bartender that is either on the computer or texting while working – also the asst gm is always hanging out in bar or coffee shop also texting or playing on the computer – texting should be banned while working!!!! i bowl there and find both these things very annoying!!!!!

rvc lanes is a place where the gm tommy is not as nice as i was inform that he was and the employees all they do is cater to the minority patrons also the head mechanic always has an attitude and not to friendly. i will always go back to baldwin where they treat everyone as family member

I sure would like to play there. I don’t care about the service as long as the lanes are okey, he, he, he. Nevertheless, a good service crew will be a most welcome bonus.

Well RVC Lanes have new owners and the place has a much better attitude towards bowlers than before. They started .99c games mon – fri and they plan on updating the place.

Here is the reason why that I went over there to Rockville Centre Lanes. The prices are about $5.50 a game? The owner seems not too friendly when I visit over there. The bowling alley is very clean & the lanes are synthetic which is really fine to all bowlers. And when I start paying full price, there is a practice shot on the first game (or maybe two) after you roll your first shot. After you finished practicing, there is a monitor (that looks like an arcade version) on top of the screen & that is “not digital”. And after you finish the whole game, I have to look at my final stats on top of the screen. The bowling alley is a nice place to bowl at & I paid for it.

I bowl here often because the shot is consistent with a heavy back-end, the lanes are well kept, and the price is fair and reasonable. One historical disappointment has been the service. At times the staff seems either overwhelmed or indifferent and if what you want isn’t in the direction of where they’re going, you’re not going to get it. In fairness, it seems that this season things have gotten MUCH better, and I have to give them props for the improvement. Here’s to hoping they can keep up the good work.

These lanes use to be challenging. use to be wood lanes with an hard oil pattern that made it a shot makers house. NOW Since changed to synthetics they have followed suit like most alleys and changed to an easy shot to the pocket. If you are averaging 200 somewhere else here you will average 220 or better. You can miss up to eight boards right of your target and still hit the hole. Just like Baldwin Lanes if you want to inflate your average to the sky then this is the place.

Great lanes…. nicely kept up and waxed. Ball returns are a bit slow. Very serious bowling alley not great for open bowling more of a league place… workers don’t take well to open bowlers.
