You should never deprive your children the fun of small-ball bowling...it's not candlepin, but it's a hell of a lot bette than tenpin bowling.

I too agree that the cost to take 3 kids (and 2 adults) was outrageous. Very busy too. It was just bowling... In the future, I will again be supporting the old alleys, with manual scoring and no fancy stuff and no crowd. After all, the kids enjoy the bowling.

Just amazed that bowling at Ryan has turned into a serious money machine! We took our two year old son yesterday - yes he loves to bowl - an one hour of rushed bowling cost us $25 dollars! We're just going to go back to the local ten pin establishment. The prices are better, they give you league discounts, and you don't have to be worried about rushing! My son will learn how to use the 6 lb ball and I'm sure he'll love it either way - to him it's just bowling, to his parents, it's a fun day out - not just a raping of cash!

I also love the Brunswick A2 pinsetter and even though I don't work with the machine I have researched it enough and the pins get to the top by a large rotating wheel at the back.

I love your Center. I love your A2 pinsetter can you take a photo of it and put it on your site? Tell how the bowling pins get to top of the machine.
