I like this place. A little pricy, but if you find the deals or use a coupon it's a good deal. I like the cosmic bowling. I hae had no bad experiences. Food is good.Waitress always nice. Way less crowded than Arlington & nicer environment.

We really enjoy bowling as a family, but it's just too expensive to go very often. It's about $70 for a family of five to go and get minimal food. Just too much for a night of bowling.

Bowling Center Staff = Good Pro Shop = S*cks (Big Time) Always had Great service from the front desk staff. However, the assistant at the ProShop is giving the shop a negative image due to incompetence. I had my inserts only reglued and he replaced them instead! He also did a sloppy job in putting it in--with a few millimeters of the inserts popping out! I asked him to fix it---and get this--he used a blade and scraped the extra off. The inserts looks like it had be gnawed by a rat. I'll never go to this ProShop again! Beware newbies...beware!

Just got my first ball at AMF Riverside because a friend works there. The Pro Shop messed up the drilling and angled the thumb for a lefty! Another, more respectful, pro shop brought this to my attention after getting really bad calluses and blisters. I didn't even take the ball back because i didn't want them to mess it up again.

People of Riverside! Don't be fooled! Arlington Lane is the only bowling center you should go to. Don't go to AMF Here. They are rude, unfriendly and the food is really bad! We need new leagues at Arlington Lane on Wed. Bring your league here. We love you!

OMG, this place S*CKS! It is not only dark and ugly but the employees are also beyond unfriendly! One old BAG at the front desk told me she has this job for life and don't care if we are happy or not! She is only there to take our money and open the lane! No need for friendly service! When I ask for the manager, she told me she IS the manager! I think I will try ABC Bowl in Moreno Valley as others have suggested!

My kids like to bowl when they are off from school. and I like taking them to an ally thats closer to home, but I have to admit that AMF Riverside lanes are very expensive, It cost alot of money for a family of just three to bowl. shoe rental has to be a poor joke. add that to what you pay for two games per person you wind up broke before the games even begain. arlinton lanes is pretty far but they have dallar tuesday, so now we can enjoy bowling instead of worrying about how much it's going to cost.

Well, it has been a while since someone commented, but I would like to say that changes have been made. Most of the employees are very helpful and have great attitudes. The only downside is that there is hardly time for open play on the weeknights between 6 & 9 pm.

The parking lot is still empty and you may ask why the weekend employees are rude and just don't care about their customers. Don't bowl by the hour because your hour will be taken up by resets and waiting for your ball to be returned, don't expect any time to be given back to you either. We bowled every weekend spent $50.00 to $100.00 there but no more, we now bowl at ABC bowl in Moreno Valley lots of fun there. Long drive for us but well worth getting away from the employees of Riverside Lanes which was only 9 miles for us to go. So sorry Tava lanes is gone.

I am sorry to see the negative comments that were posted. I have been going there for quite some time now and have nothing but positive experiences. There were some employee changes that have happened over the past year, and maybe the problem was corrected. Anyway, I love AMF Riverside Lanes.

I think AMF is great... the people there are nice and I like to bowl on their new Extreme League and the Nascar League. Although I think that it gets busy for the state comp. I think of it as another home.

I agree. I wandered in one day and they were just down right rude and the people were really lazy. I too am going to Tava Lanes. You rock Tava!

This place sucks. It is dark, gloomy, and old considering how new it is. It is filthy, and the employees were down right rude. I went at noon on a weekday, only to be turned away because a league was going to play at 3pm. I was only going to play 2 games, and they said the open lanes, 6, were all taken up. There were 34 other lanes open for another three hours, and they were too lazy to turn on a lane. Or maybe because I had a coupon for 2 dollars off two games. I don't know, but whatever the reason, I see why their parking lot is always empty, because they don't offer anything at all! And their prices are outrageous, 5 bucks for shoe rental! Sorry AMF but I will never bowl at any of your facilities again, I will go to Tava Lanes where my money and company is enjoyed!
