I called on 11-24-12 referencing a gift card that my son had recieved. I needed to know if there was any kind of balance left on the card... spoke with an employee by the name of "Ramone" very rude. I proceded with "hello Ramon, my son has a gift card for pinchasers and I would like to know the balance." he then replied "I dont know" so then I continued with "well can you get a balance for me? All I have are 4 blue #'s" and he tells me "hold on" "are you coming in today?" I replied "No, just checking my card." and did not put our conversation on hold but apperantly placed the phone down and started to help another customer at the establishment. So I hung up and will call back some other time!

I was at pinchaser last night with my wife and three young children and a gentleman two lanes over from us suffered a heart attack. No employees stepped in to help as they said they have been given instructions to only call 911 and so the only assistance this gentleman received was from a drunk man in the next lane. It was horrible. It took some time for the EMTs to get there and they worked on him, but it was too late. Had he received proper cpr in a timely manner he might still be alive. If they are going to have a policy of not administering cpr then they should at least consider having a public difibulator available so someone could step in and help a person in that situation. They are incredibly cheap, around 1k and designed so anyone can use them. Very tramatic evening for everyone involved. **NOTE** PLEASE, PLEASE EVERYONE! LEARN CPR AND LEARN IT TODAY! I enjoy this place very much. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and accommodating. The building is always clean. The machines run well. As an avid bowler, I can't ask for any more. I've seen nothing but satisfied customers and really have to wonder about some of the reviews that I've read here. I've been bowling my whole life and no center has ever worked harder for my business. I am very happy to be a league bowler there and can't imagine ever making a change.

I have been going to Pin Chaser Midtown for years. I have found the upgrades to the center outstanding and one of the top bowling centers in the Tampa Bay area. The center staff has always been couteous and I have always felt welcome and my patrongage appreciated.

First of all, as a former employee of Pinchasers (Regal Lanes), I will first state that Anthony is probably right about the league time issue. Every night they offer their leagues the time slots of either 5:30, 6:00, and 8:00, which I feel is a very fair way to do business. This way the league bowlers know when they are going to bowl and it is consistent for the rest of the desk staff to assist with booking other groups/parties/etc. Secondly, Sharon Halling is VERY MUCH SO missed. I loved working with her and moreso just sharing with her stories from years past, always wishing that I was there to witness it myself. I know that she, herself, kept most of those leagues there and was always trying to get more people into the leagues. She was the most disappointed the one year that the Tuesday Industrial league didn't bowl, and then spent the next two weeks trying her hardest to put a replacement league in that slot. She is probably the second best person that has ever worked in that facility...second only to Mr. Morris. However, since the time that Mr. Morris has stepped aside and Anthony has taken over, I have heard from bowlers and noticed myself that things are not what they used to be. Firstly, what happened to the "Lanes Available" sign that made both Regal and Crown so well known? I know that the indicator is still there in the sign by the street, but it is never used. That is the best marketing tool I have ever seen. People driving down Armenia Ave and seeing that sign lit up would know that they could walk in and immediately be placed on a lane. Simple things like this do work, and it doesn't cost a lot of money to do!! Also, your pricing is ridiculous. $4.79 a game is outrageous, especially during the day when you have maybe 5 lanes of open play going! I could go to BCB or The Alley and pay $2.50 per game at either one of those places, and AMF only charges somewhere in the 3 dollar range. I can understand that kind of pricing when Cyber is going, but not first thing in the morning. The pricing alone will keep me from returning in the future. Yes, I know that you have certain times that you run specials, however the specials should be all day long when few people are there. Also, the customer service the few times that I have been there just to visit left a lot to be desired. I mean, the people were there to help, they just didn't seem to be very inviting. Also, the lane attendants were just standing around, when there were things that they could have been doing...like cleaning up after bowlers. Finally, I am returning to competitive bowling for the first time in about three years due to personal reasons. Becuase of the pricing structure, and no league discount, without paying for the playpass, which would not benefit me, I have decided for the first time in many years of bowling in the Tampa Bay area to not include either Pinchasers location in any of my league options. I made many friends at both locations and have been asked to bowl with them, however with not feeling as welcome as before, I decided to go elsewhere. I really hope that things change and get better in the future, otherwise it won't be Sharon's leagacy that will have failed, but Mr. Morris' as well.

To Disillusioned, I appreciate your comments, and regret that you have been misinformed concerning the start of a GBLT Friday league. I and the entire Pin Chasers team are committed to our league community, and yes, as you have mentioned, we feel strongly that league bowling is our premium offering. It is our intention that every bowler, including the first time or casual bowler, develops their interest in the game to enjoy the benefits of league bowling for a lifetime. Our services and products are designed to create deeper interest in bowling as a sport and we do this to develop more league bowlers. As to the Friday GBLT league you have mentioned, your information is absolutely incorrect. Pin Chasers has not turned away this group, but simply could not accommodate the desired day and time the organizers had asked to bowl. The organizers had asked to bowl at a time that would conflict with the existing league times offered on Fridays. Other Friday times that did not conflict , as well as other days of the week where there were no conflicts, were offered, but were not suitable to the organizers. Regretfully, this schedule conflict was not resolved. This is personally disappointing, since my desire is to increase our league opportunities whenever possible. Mr. Martin, nor myself, have ever promised this new league a day and time, and subsequently made the time unavailable. This did not happen. No one has ever stated that we don't need your league, and the opposite is true, the organizers simply could not work with the existing time slots available for Friday evenings. Existing time slots on Friday evening are 5:30 PM, 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM, and it is their wish to bowl at 7:00 PM. We did not choose open bowling over league bowling, and offered other suggestions to host their new league at Pin Chasers Midtown. For this summer, this new league will bowl elsewhere, and we wish them success. Pin Chasers will host the Summer MMC league on Monday nights at 8:00 PM as we have for a very long time and I hope you will join us. The Friday group, as I have been told, is to complement the MMC, not to compete, so I am hopeful both groups have success for its members. We will continue to serve our league community, and hopefully, in the future, the existing schedule conflicts from this summer can be resolved. I am happy you mentioned Sharon Halling's friendly, tireless dedication to our league community. My friend, who was a part of my life since I was a boy, is missed and will never be replaced. MMC and its members were very dear to her and I agree she would be upset if what you have stated were true, but fortunately it is not. She would have been the first to apologize that you were given such poor information. I am sorry you were given this poor information as well, and I hope you trust that my company and myself are as dedicated today as we have been for the last fifty years to our league community. Poor information as you described is detrimental to our league efforts and undermines the trust that every relationship is based. We have had, and strive to continue to have, a friendly, productive relationship with all of our league bowlers. This is an anonymous forum, and I invite you, and any others, who were misled to discuss this matter with me at the center or phone my office at 813-879-1339 or email at info@pinchasers.net. Thank you again for your concern. Anthony M. Perrone Pin Chasers CEO

On Monday April 21,2008 ( the last night of MMC league) it was brought to our attention that Robbie Martin ( GM Midtown) and Anthony Perrone ( CEO all Pinchasers in FLA) have turned away summer League. Which is a slap across the faces or League Bowlers, Employees, and the MEMORY of SHARON HALLING. A few weeks ago ,Mr. Martin told League officals that they could use 1/2 of the center on Friday night for a New GBLT League, after the flyers were made and the info about to be given out Mr. Martin was QUOTED in saying " we changed our minds, we would rather use the 1/2 center promised to your league for OPEN BOWLING, sorry but we DONT NEED YOUR LEAGUE !! " Seems to me that with Bowling Leagues in general Down in Memberships, Bowling Execs. should be trying to KEEP leagues HAPPY - NOT telling them they are NOT NEEDED. I for one am Happy that Sharon is NOT around to see how ALL HER HARD work to keep Leagues Happy & coming back HAS BEEN FORGOTTEN by PINCHASERS ( CEO & GM )! Its really too bad that the DOLLAR means more to Martin & Perrone than the PEOPLE WHO SPEND IT!!! Whatever happen to League bowlers are our number ONE product- Mr. Perrone ??? That is line YOU & Robbie give all the Leagues at the starting Meetings- sounds like empty words to me, since you are TURNING AWAY LEAGUES. I hope the entire MMC League on Monday, hear's about your treatment of fellow GBLT Friday league and Takes their WHOLE AWAY from PINCHASERS, it would serve you ( Perrone & Martin) right for this unforgivable attitude.

You pay linage for the bowlers that are not there because we cane those lanes. If two whole teams are missing from a 4X20 we can't give out these lanes if we have a full house so we would loose money. We also give you a discount over open play bowlers because your league guarantees you will be there. Any house you go to does it this way.

To Anthony Perrone C>E>O Pinchasers - Once again I am contacting you in regards to League Bowlers who are absent having to pay for LINEAGE that is UNUSED ! While your idea of a PLAYPASS is a GOOD one, It doesnt matter to someone like me that lives 45 miles from the BOWLING CENTER. With the prices of GASOLINE im lucky i can make it to my LEAGUES, much less be able to OPEN BOWL. There are Other League Bowlers that feel the same way, who travel a ways just to participate in your CENTERs Leagues... and its NOT right for you to charge BOWLERS for UNUSED LINEAGE ( means Reg Bowler was ABSENT & NO SUB was used)!! After One Year and 6 months from the FIRST time I brought this problem to the attention of Mr. Perrone, PLAYPASS has been done But PLAYPASS DOESNT make it FAIR TO ALL BOWLERS!!! Maybe Mr.Perrone " CLAIM" that league bowlers are the NUMBER 1 PRODUCT for Bowling Centers is just empty words in MY OPINION. Oh for the days when Mr. Morris was the owner, at he was ALWAYS REACHABLE & LISTENED to his CUSTOMERS !!

I've been a league bowler at Regal (Pinchasers if you must) for quite a few years now. I love the upgrades at the center and am proud to call it my home center. However, since the death of Sharon Hallings (former manager) and the takeover by new owners, the center has seemed empty and impersonal to me. I always felt I was in the company of friends bowling there and now... now I'm just another bowler. The center is reaching out to its league bowlers with specials (the Bowling Pass is AWESOME!)so I'm confident they are trying. Black and white... the center has an awesome shot, well-kept lanes, and and air of fun. Its worth the time.

I have been going to Regal Lanes/Pin Chasers since the 70's and they have always had the best staff. Bill Morris has been very blessed!

Pin Chasers Midtown has the greatest birthday parties! My son had the most fun and I didn't have to do a thing! They gave all the kids free goody boxes that had computer games in them. The staff played games with the kids and were really nice!

Since Regal changed to Pinchasers and revamped its entire compnay structure, league bowlers have been left out! In Jan 2006, the Tribune ran an extensive article on the new Pinchasers...in this article printed in black & white for ALL to read, C.E.O. Anthony Perrone ( also owns Housewife Bakery in Tampa) doesnt sound like he cares Much for his League Bowlers. While league bowling may be down in numbers, Perrone talks about better food and pricing for OPEN bowlers. I have yet to see ANY attempt in Pinchasers to get MORE League Bowlers or try to keep the Few that are left. Perrone says " League Bowlers are our #1 product ", but comes up short on proving that statement to his center's League Bowlers ! While change is normally a good thing, I along with other League bowlers & employee's of Pinchasers - long for the day when Bill Morris was owner. Mr Morris is a man who believed in League Bowlers and was always reachable for any questions or comments. Since he is no longer around I can only Hope that his many decades of service & work do not go under with this new Pinchasers. It is our hope that this reaches someone who cares about ALL bowlers not just the casual ones.
