Bowl Mor wants $$$$$ party party party NO leagues! Place was a dump with AMF like the rest of AMF centers!

Taunton Ten Pin took its last breath this past August. The place was never the same as when the Webbs had control over it. They where promoters and had a great atmosphere in their center. The Cranberry Open was one of the best scratch tournaments in New England during its time as well as the Silver City Thursday league.

Place is a joke. Does anyone is the upper management of amf realize that this place is a sad excuse for a fun night out?

Way to go to the manager hiring an auto mechanic bowl at a private center

Comment Date: 10/31/2012 Name: good bowler pissed off
god this place is an absolute dump. the lanes are dry as a bone, they hired an auto mechanic to be a lane tech....come on, 7 weeks and counting now....breaking 195 is like working a second job. isnt it funny that only one bowler in that house can average 240?..the rest of the good bowlers in this place have trouble shooting 200. put out a damn shot that everyone can hit, instead of putting out a {deleted} shot where each delivery is a guessing game as what the ball is gonna do, oh and to mention....this place is kept like a meat locker, freeze in the summer and freeze in the winter, hand shrinks cant hang on the ball that well...what a joke

What the hell kind of shot is this?????? Didn't take all that long for the new guy to mess around and really piss us off. If you don't know the lane machine DONT touch it dummy

Thanks for the support and good remarks. I worked hard and learned alot trying to make that place worth going to. As for the other remarks all I can say is Langs Bowlarama is alot less stress and i work with people who actually care about the bowlers. With that being said I feel that I made the right decision. Good luck in the fall. Feel free to check us out with our fully remodeled center, new Kegel Walker, and 52 42" LG flat screen TV's. Located right off of RT10 on niantic ave Cranston. Just look for us! Hope to see you soon

Do not go here!!! By far the worst experience I've EVER had. Food s*cks both counter people are disgusting looking but that's probably their reason for not leaving the back room. The general manager was rude to my child and I swear I heard him bitch and complain about having to get up out of his seat to give us a lane. Wtf kind of business is this. I hope their corporation sees this because next time we will either go to a movie, play mini golf, or go to Ryan's family amusements! I'd rather spend more elsewhere because anywhere is better than there.

Too bad things were looking up

Yes I agree! The manager there like all amf managers clueless. Rolls down hill I guess. District manager? Oooh that guy that we see once a year if we are lucky. To matt... Walk around and talk to the bowlers instead of planting your a** in the back room hiding.

Wow. Didn't see him leaving.Not. Honestly surprised he stuck it out this long. Just like the gm wants. Next! Just throw another half clueless person in the mix and hope he makes the lazy wide asses look good. The drive to ep is looking better and better

Overheard the other day that the one kid who actually cared about this place is leaving. Yeahhhh I won't be bowling there anymore. Does anyone else its weird that amf Taunton lanes goes through employees like water? Try keeping the good ones and get rid of the deadweight matt. Idiot
