|Seems to have gone downhill since the buyout from AMF. They want to drive out league bowlers?

This place rakes you over the coals. They charge you for everything and their lineage is ridiculous. We got very little prize fund since like $14 went to pay for bowling every week. Looking for a new house to bowl. Not to mention Bob the manager is an idiot

Went there this morning for a free party for kids. We were treated like royalty. Got bowling, shoes, pizza, soda and ice cream for FREE! Great place to take the family.

Brunswick treats there league bowlers with disrespect, along with open play and there employees, yes there are some amazing employees there but sometimes they cant carry a company on there own, I will never enter that center again and will go just up the street to the promenade from now on,,,

|So I went in after a birthday party at a previous place to look at a future destination for my child to play it. When I went into The Brunswich Zone at "9150 Harlan St.
Westminster, CO 80031" I was approached by a Rude man with the name of Ron. A crusty old man who really shouldn't be working - past his prime.
long story short I was going at have a party of 50 people traveling from different locations and this was the best. now I have never been so I was not only looking and checking the games and the establishment which obviously hasnt been cleaned in months, and the games were all broken but the lanes were never working. I live 2 hrs away... and since I havent been I asked the "bday girl" I was with if it be ok to stop on by and look before I had to make my drive home. I went in briefly with the "b-day girl" I was with and she played 50 dollars in games while I looked and my friend took some pics as she played. Not only did most of the games not have tickets, but many were broken!
the man (supervisor) out of no where started to scream at her (mind you shes playing this odd jumping game thing.. i didnt know what it was) that she was loitering and we all needed to leave. I was shocked. Amazed. I was still looking at some of the prices, and she was playing.. not a big deal you think haha. Just a normal time.
None the less Im an older lady and I approached him first asking for corporate and the owners name. Almost immediately, he was cutting me off from speaking becomming aggressive and attacking stating I was a "child" yadda yadda... trust me if I wasnt almost 30 I take the compliment but in this setting it was rude! Yes, I look young but I hate when people judge! He stopped the girl that was working the front desk, which I simply asked for the numbers that was it.. and I pocket them later and yanked her in the back and came out "swinging his fists!" (matter of speaking... cause I asked for his bosses number and corporates) it was insane! He would not give them to me... was very angry I even ask. I told him that his actions were very unfit for a family establishment...didnt take that well!
I told him to calm down. I wanted to clarify some things that he said (trying to give him the benefit of the doubt). I told him that I was looking at the establishment and the definition of loitering is being someone without a purpose. (mind you.. he was interrupting me every second I talked... which even at my age.. that gets old quick) I told him The bday girl was playing some games as I was looking there and we be on our way, but Im sure he wouldnt mind the "extra money" for the day. He told me quote on quote "your money isnt good here. I dont "f(*%!@#" care if you spend 10 to 50 dollars here. I make more profit on bowling I dont want your KIND here so leave." (yeah... that really.. man.. you can imagine at that point with him being so rude and then saying that...)
Now.. being a business person (I owna nd have run big corporations) I start to think this guy is whacked. I informed him first the foul language is not necessary. I asked him that if my money isnt worth his time then Ill move my party else where. (course he was set that I was an 18 year old LOL... I of course showed him my ID and he then accused me of stealing it HAHA... I mean really he was a nut in a bag... Extreme. I dont have a clue honestly what got him wild up but man, did I get the brunt of it.. I just felt bad for the bday girl I was with, she started to cry and ask me if she was doing anything wrong... that what was killed me inside.)
I was amazed! It was insane. I went ahead and called his boss and he ran into his "bosses" office and kept making sure I couldnt leave a message. I was just baffled by this guy! He wouldnt give me corporate, and then he pick up his bosses phone! Really?! WOW! Now we werent doing anything except playing some games and I was looking at brochures! nuts!
DO NOT support companies with employees like this! He knew dang well what he was doing! I will look into the corporate phone now, but I couldnt believe it. Unless you spend a good 100 dollars+ he doesnt want your business people. Anyone who walks in there I recommend telling him that and leaving. Not the first good impression I tell ya! Am I right to say any money is good money? LOL We didnt have to stay a bit and play, I could have ran in and got info and all that but, Ive been to places similar and I always regret not looking at everything besides! Shouldnt matter! holy mackerel!
I have never dealt with someone like that. We were there 30 minutes, mind you that was 50 dollars he didnt have to make... All I can say is the business morales of this establishment are terrible. I will not be taking my 7 year old to a place where the SUPERVISOR uses foul language! He was non stop too! DO NOT DO NOT take young children here.
And.. if you look under the age, which apparently I do (Ill be 30 in June) dont go. he will treat you terribly. I do understand if he has a lot of young kids playing games but man.... not the way to treat anyone (not even a minor or a child... there are better ways to deal with those things but not to be aggressive immediately.. and then to judge and not have full information man thats just immoral). There are different ways and strategies of approaching someone... not using foul language and extreme measures. If I was him, I would have approached me and asked if I needed a brochure flyer or more information.. something! Not left me in the dark to fend for myself... like I had to which added to the time.. Everything is disorganized, none of the equipment works and its trashed in there.. Im glad I went in! Now I wont waste the money for a party of 50!
I still cant get over this guy! NUTS!!!!!!!!!

We went here last night (Wed) and they were full with leagues. Counter staff accommodated us in the bar and we had a great time. Got to bowl about 9pm.

My wife and I have bowled there for many years but this last season was the last. We have never been treated with such dis-respect and rudeness. They put open bowlers right next too and in between our league play. We compliained and were informed they were there "to make money not please the customers." The only reason to go back is Mike in the pro shop. He is the best in the state. The last day of our league we asked the other teams if they were returning and 90% said no! Even the league Sec/ tres. was leaving this house.

I like the lanes themselves, however, I feel that the management/staff could do a better job in the customer service department. We league bowl and open bowl and have not been treated very professionally in response to lane issues and league rule issues. But I will say that they have the best bartendar in town, Mel rocks.

Brunzwick is a great place to go bowling. I go at least once a week with friends. The staff has always been very friendly, prices are reasonable and its an overall great place to have fun!

I bowl here when I'm in Westminster visting relatives. The place has gotten really nice. Since my last visit they've added touch screen monitors and you have two screens per lane, one by the tables and one up top. The staff at this bowling alley is really nice and some have become personal friends with my grandparents. This is a really good bowling alley.
