So I go to get some food and try to order wings and fries, well I guess this is the only center in the state that you can't get French fries.

There was a 5 day camp here and I came up from Illinois to bowl there for the week. I love the center, the food was fantastic, the lanes were very neatly kept. Only one problem. It was so freaking cold every time I stepped in the center! haha. If you raise the temperature of the A/C a little bit, that would be awesome. But overall, this is one of the best centers I have ever bowled at!!

I am a regular here and the I know just about everyone that works there and I am treated very nice. The only think I don't like is the Pro Shop. After spending 65 dollar to get a balled drilled and finger tipped, I am now doing my pro shop stuff at East Side Lanes where it's easily 50% cheaper. My team mate bought VG Nano Pearl, a Cyclone and some other things for like 250 and I heard the guy at east side does a better job drilling the ball. Mine has a few marks on it from the drill. Other than the Old Cranky Pro Shop operator, Coopers is easily the best place to bowl in/near Anderson and they have discounts 3 or 4 days a week which is real nice.

Since moving to Anderson my wife I have opened bowled at this center 2 or 3 times per month. We find the staff friendly, and the food excellent. The place is clean and lane conditions fairly consitant. Only negitive is the pinsetters have alot of balls getting stuck, and different jams. We give Coopers Sport bowl 4 stars out of 5.

To: Mike Mann The only reason Gaynell Mann was saying anything is because around Anderson there is a former employee and very well known bowler named Mike Mann and wanted to clear up that it was not the same person. I think we all agree with you though when you tell the guys to move their feet and quit complaining

Gaynell Mann, I live south of Indy in Franklin In and was up for work, and watched a friend bowl not really sure what your all mad about? all I asked was how the turn out was? and then said the guys was b*tching about the shot all of them was trying to hook the ball the guys scoring was playing down and in. thats why I said move your feet...

As one of the owners of Cooper's Sport Bowl I read and take all your comments very seriously. We always welcome suggestions on how we can improve ourselves and the service we provide to our guest. We can only react and make changes when there is a legitimate complaint. We are a five star center and if you have visited us you already know that and if you have not visited us you will agree with me and many other guest after you walk through our doors. The Cooper's motto is "Whatever it Takes" and that has been our motto for over 50+ years now. I look forward to you visiting us and being a part of our bowling family for the next 50 years and under the 4th generations ownership. Thanks for keeping us as a leader in the industry and keep bowling it just that simple.

As for the comment from Mike Mann, I just want to clarify that it is not the Mike Mann that has worked for Coopers. The Coopers are a great family to work for and I personnally do not like this web site. If you do not have the b*lls to give your name, then you should not be placing comments on here. I have been to many bowling centers around the state of Indiana and Coopers blows them out of the water. The staff is friendly and helpful, the establishment is very clean and maintained and the food is #1.

Look at this..One person is soooo bored they sit and vote 7000 times. Just goes to prove you can't believe everything on the internet.

Comment Date: 2/5/2011 Name: new to the area
New to this area, and have had the opportunity to visit this center on three or four different occasions. Staff is always friendly. Food is not your typical bowling alley food, it is GOOD! Emplyees seem to take pride in the place, and coming from the east coast, that is refreshing. They offer lots of discounted bowling too. We will be back. (also good job on clearing your parking lot during the recent ice storm) We have visited bowling alleys in a lot of areas, this is one of the nicest. Keep upthe good work

do the people that have negative things to say have the balls to put their name on here. to the people that are running their mouths, you are probably the same people that have talked {deleted} about not only us but every other house in the state where you cant average 245 every week. quit wastin your time typin on the internet and say it to someones face

Peace on Earth ... good will towards bowlers !!

Comment Date: 2/3/2011 Name: re:
Masters questions need to be directed to the tournament director Jeff Circle. As for the USBC concerns call them. And the award problems can go the the league secretaries or the city secretary. Quit whining and bowl.

Coopers is by far the nicest bowling center around. The owners are very involved and very nice people. Coming from someone who has spent a lot of time in other bowling centers around the state, Coopers is definitely one of if not the nicest center in the state... You guys are doing a great job, keep up the good work

Being a nibnose and looked on bowl.com and this Jason McCord from the Anderson area shot this 819 on 9/9/2010 according to his achievments listing.....How did the league re-submit the score with an earlier date? Sounds like somebody is just being childish online and trying to cause trouble.

Comment Date: 1/30/2011 Name: crazytruck2
it seem mighty funny that the score that Jason shot was posted on bowl .com a week after he shot it, in the sports league, Some people need to understand that the bowling centers don't have anything to do with getting the awarsds to the bowlers. So until you learn the way things are done, maybe you need to keep your comment to the back of your mind and let the people that order the awards do their jobs. If you want more information just ask anyone and they will point you in my direction and you can stop hidding and come to me face to face and I will explain the truth behind the awards. About any one can tell you who the crazytruck is, and from the things I have seen you already know who I am so come talk to ME.Don't be chicken talk to me.

Its Funny how things work out Jason was Told by the league/Staff at Coopers the shot didnt pass then they/Coppers Staff has worked hard for three weeks to get a shot that will pass and then you turn the score back in like it was shot again...And No One has reply to these post until Jason gets his award tonight? Might just have to pass this along to USBC and see what they say...my two cent

The Sport League's shot at Cooper's has been compliant every week of bowling. This is verified thru USBC. This information is available to anyone on www.bowl.com. Jason McCord's 800 series was recognized by USBC and is posted on www.bowl.com as the 5th highest series on a sport shot! Congratulation Jason on your accomplishment. The pictures taken during the end of the Youth Program in December of 2010 are being used on our new website that is being designed. We hope to have this new website up and running in a couple of months. The pictures will be available for viewing on the new website.

My son was in the noon optimist during the last league session at the end pics were taken. Is there someplace to see the pics?

Comment Date: 1/11/2011 Name: Sport Shot
Cindy, This information is coming from your bowlers, And you know the shot didnt pass!! or the young man would have got the USBC award right? Is USBC give him a award?? But I do understand things happen with machines and so on, so dont act like things are going good. with the shot it verys so much from week to week dry one week oily the next. And the last time I email you I didnt get a reply.

Comment Date: 1/10/2011 Name: Cindy Ormes
Would like to know where you got your information that the shot was not compliant for Bill Robinson Classic. Yes we are hosting the State Masters for the 3rd year in a row. So we must be doing something right. If you would like to make additional comments or have suggestions, you can contact me at cindy@cooperssportbowl.com Thanks

Comment Date: 1/5/2011 Name: Sport shot league
So you have a sport shot league and the center cant put out a shot that passes USBC...then a guy shots 800 and told sorry ...But good shotting...Wow....And this is the place thats going to host the Indiana Masters...lmao

Staff is very friendly. They seem to take pride in their center. Customers are treated like royalty . . . not a royal "pain" lol

New Proshop in Town at Eastside lanes as of January 11th the Guys from Spare Time Proshop in Muncie will be running the Proshop at Eastside and the Prices will be the best in town by far....

Comment Date: 11/10/2009 Name: Unreal
I have to agree on the manors of the older guy in the pro shop. It almost seems like, if he doesn't know you, he has no time for you. It makes me wonder how someone like that can stay in business. And rude doesn't begin to describe how I was treated when I asked about a ball and shoes (hey buddy, I do know a little something about bowling and I bet I know my game better than you do so don't tell me I don't know what I am talking about). If I want to be talked down to, I'll do it someplace else. I don't need to give an old rude guy my money. Good luck in the future and if you ever get run out of business, I'll be the one standing there laughing at your rude butt. Aside from that, the lanes are some of the best in Central Indiana and the staff seems to care (except for the old guy in the pro shop). On a side note, don't buy your bowling stuff from the rude guy in the pro shop. He is way over priced and does not do a great job of drilling a ball. If I am going to pay that much to have a ball drilled, it better be done right.

counter help is by far the best ever nice reindly and well manered. Great lanes and restaurant pro shop small but very weell stocked

I really enjoyed bowling in the bowling center... I wish that there was a section for pro shops though. I went in to the pro shop and was treated like a total idiot. I have been bowling for a while now and did not appreciate the treatment I received while in there. I did enjoy the center though and the re-model on the bar is very nice. The staff at Coopers Sport Bowl is very good at their job.
