I just really carefully reread "Brandi's" 08 26 2008 comment. Did you notice that the entire comment was about Lazer Tag, the game room, the arcades, snack center???????? NOTHING about the bowling part of the facility. Brunswick's vision (my MBA -business background is coming out here) of bowling is that "Bowling is purely recreational". They talk big stuff "PBA" etc but it comes down to a real commitment as a sport Brunswick is not prepared to really commit to a "Bowling is a true sport" vision. Bowling here is a way to get people into the place to sell booze, food, shoot pool, and get the kids to blow money on the arcades. I am not trying to be nasty, but factual. It is obvious right before your eyes.

Mr. Ramsken: Brunswick Corporate Offices are in Chicago area. But bowling operations have been run for some years out of Atlanta GA. Brunswick Bowling Centers did go on a cost cutting binge heavily cutting key lane personnel. Someone can be taught to run an oiling machine to lay out shots, but the "sport shot" guys were often let go. I am NOT (your words) "bashing" Brunswick, just because it is Brunswick. The whole bowling industry has shot itself in the foot and unfortunately Brunswick as a major player seems to have joined the race to the bottom. People don't see bowling as a real sport; but merely recreation. Selling food and booze is being seen as the real business, not the bowling itself. I am commenting from the experience of a person who spends a lot of time in bowling centers...... I observe with a keen eye and I just call it as I see it.

Poor Bob posts the same crap on every Brunswick center's page (all over the country). Bash, bash, bash. At least get your facts staraight Bob. Brunswick has no offices in Atlanta Georgia as you claim on every post. Brunswick is headquartered out of the North Chicago suburbs, and the majority of your posts need to be fact checked as well. Regards from Edward.

Clarifying comment: This house may be fine for recreational bowlers, but the more competitive bowlers are leaving to go elsewhere. Their leagues used to fill the house; now way down, and not just because of the economy. Every decision seems like it has to go through Atlanta, even to fund money to get parts to fix lanes. Local personnel seem to have NO authority to try something new or different to make things better.

I am sorry but this place is going to the dogs very quickly. Starting in 2009, Brunswick went on a cost cutting binge. Let go most of the staff; people left work their butts off to keep their jobs. Typical Brunswick, in that center can't control temperature or humidity because Brunswick Corp controls it out of Atlanta Ga. House has gone downhill badly.

are you serious? you say you've bowled here for 10 yrs....what are you looking at? do you come in to the center from a hole in the ground? this place is constantly being worked on.....adding laser tag, changing the floor layout of the game room and snack bar, changing the kiddie rides to accomodate the new era. this place is amazing i grew up in this center since i was probably 5 and now i'm 21. i dont know what your looking at to say it needs to be cleaned up but your leaving a review on the wrong center, cuz you are highly mistaken.

I have been bowling at this alley for over 10 years. This place just keeps going down hill. It is the only bowling alley in Naperville and does a great business, I can understand why Brunswick won't through a few bucks at this place to up date and clean up this joint. I say get rid of all those kiddie rides they can't be very profitable. Please fix this place up!!!!!!
